“On my first visit in July I gave this place 5 stars but now after going a few more times I'm giving 3 stars. I ordered the exact same thing every time I went and each time my meal looked different and definitely tasted different each time. I still plan to support but they need to be consistent. This last time we went at 7:30pm and didn't get our drinks until 8:12. Thats too long to wait for a drink. And they need to offer bread and butter while people wait forever to get food. I'm fine with waiting but at least give me a piece of bread or crackers.”

“Met here with a couple of friends for a birthday celebration. Easy parking and access. We were greeted and seated promptly. The ambiance is good, with lighting for each table that is sufficient to read the menu while maintaining the atmosphere. Michael was our server and did a great job, from bringing the appetizer to clearing the dessert dishes. And taking group photos, too. The bread was served warm with two types of flavored butter. Our entrees were delicious and the coconut cake with a pool of apricot puree was enough to share. This is a high-end place so I'll have to wait for another special occasion, but I'm so glad we had this great experience together.”

“Snooze was pretty good. We were seated fairly quickly, service was good, and the food came relativity quickly. The vibe is a bit odd in that it has a sort of a late 60s or early 70s decor, and yet, the music sounded like something you'd hear at Old Navy. I had the pancake flight which was very delicious. However, it costs around $11 which seems expensive to me for three regular sized pancakes with no sides. Overall, pretty good, but they should consider lowering their prices.”

“Where do I start? At the order station we were assisted with the menu by a very nice guy that may have been the owner, based on his enthusiasm and friendliness. He talked me into the cheek, tongue, and carnitas. At first I wished I had asked which was which. Then I ate them and I didn’t care. All three were amazing. The chips and salsa were exceptional. Way better than a standard Mexican offering at other Mexican restaurants. Looking forward to taco Tuesday’s!”

“Showed up right before the dinner rush. I had never been to a Strouds so I asked them for recommendations and they suggested the meal for 4 for my family and I. I also got a half order of gizzards. It was so much food well worth the money spent. Everything was delicious. The gizzards were unique they were sweet and salty; reminded me of kettle corn. “Great food, great service, excellent atmosphere! My family and I tried dishes from several (but not all) of the establishments under one roof. It's like the coolest, upscale food court (without bringing to mind the grimy food court of a mall). The spicy fried chicken sandwich from the American style establishment was excellent! It came with some very good seasoned fries. Unfortunately they were out of wings or I would have devoured some of those. I also sampled some of the Asian dishes. Stir fry noodles with crispy pork belly was my favorite, which went well with the mint tea or the Asian inspired iced coffee drink. Overall I would recommend any and all of the places here! Beware, it's busy on a weekend evening, but none in our party waited long for an order.”

“I've been to Taco Naco several times since they opened in the storefront. Chef Fernanda and her staff create some amazing tacos. Arguably some of the best in Overland Park. I'm working my way through the lineup. My last date tried the vegetarian options and said they were excellent as well especially the mushroom tacos. Kudos to Chef Fernanda and her staff. The retail store has outstanding products as well. The selection of homemade salsas are excellent. They range from mild to extremely hot. They also showcase other Latino products produced in the Kansas City area Overall you're missing out if you don't make the trip to Taco Naco.”

“Excellent bowls! Very natural, not over sweetened! We went as a family and we’re very pleased. My husband got the summer bowl Tropical Citrus, and I ordered the Açaí Banana Berry bowl. “Had dinner twice here - and it is outstanding. The decor is nice, the service is very personable - but it's the food that has us saying Wow! Every dish is packed with flavor. It's a little more expensive than other Asian restaurants but totally worth it. BTW, the food tends to be a little spicy - a 'medium' dish here is closer to 'hot' at other restaurants.
