“Great little spot. Great eclectic atmosphere. Friendly and helpful service. Good pasta menu with creative and tasty combinations. Go for the spicy meatballs, you won’t regret it. Sorry, they did not make the pics or videos, ate them too fast. Please give me a like if you find this review helpful.”

“This place is oddly wonderful. A Little different vibe and feel with super cool patio hideaway kind of seating. The menu is literally Fries and Pies, and all done very well. The Back Yard Boil is a south Louisiana masterpiece.”

“Never a disappointing experience! From the Bao to the Noodles, I've always enjoyed the flavors and the food. Take a chance and try one of their daily specials, especially if it's a whole fish dish!”

“Incredible food in a beautiful space! Absolutely unforgettable, life changing kimchi BLT sandwich & brisket egg & cheese treated us so nicely for our first visit, I will be returning to try everything. Great lunch meeting spot for friends or business. The beautiful space is perfect for parties, even weddings with it's big smooth open floor plan, exposed brick walls & exposed beams over head, it's very aesthetically pleasing. The staff is sweet & helpful & I look forward to enjoying their cocktails too, they looked delish. Oh ya can't go wrong with BOTTOMLESS COFFEE!”

“Today my coworker and I went to Sammy's. Being Friday, we were looking for seafood and we found a decent selection. We both ordered the Seafood Stuffed Shrimp with two sides. Our orders took a little longer that we would have like, but the food was very good - the breading on the shrimp was perfect - light and crispy. My only complaint with the food was that the Seafood Stuffing was way more stuffing than seafood. The sides (mac & cheese, candied yams, and red potatoes & parsley) were also very good. My biggest disappointment came when, after ordering, I realized that in spite of having an iced tea maker (sitting right there on the beverage bar), which I always look for to determine if a restaurant makes their own iced tea, Sammy's no longer makes their own iced tea, instead opting for the sad tasteless substitution of Gold Peak Tea, which is closer to a soft drink than iced tea. I am not sure who made the less than wise business decision to switch to fake-iced tea, but I counted no fewer than four different customers who begrudgingly drank this tea by adding lemonade or other offerings to make it palatable - complaining the whole time they did so. I guess Sammy's must save money on reduced consumption of beverages... In spite of how much I liked Sammy's food, I will never return until they once again offer real brewed iced tea.”

“Absolutely amazing food and service. Ive been to other waffle houses and they were not as good as this one. Our waitress Toni was sweet, polite, fast, and helpful. She made our morning. Thank you guys for the great food!”

“Great food. Mostly breakfast, but a few burgers for mid day or dinner . Servers were great info source about where else to go eat and hang out. Fried green tomatoes were really yummy. Try their Bloody Mary while you're there. ????”

“I don't often have great service at this McDonald's, but I keep going because it's close to work and I like the Happy Meal toys. The fries were better this time, but my cheeseburger was stale and dry. I couldn't even eat it. This time, they actually took my card as payment, then asked me to wait. They closed the window and then a supervisor came back and asked if I had cash, which I did not, but offered a different card in case something happened with the first one. They closed the window again, processed the payment, then opened the window and apologized, saying they accidentally pressed the wrong button. One time I came, i waited in the drive through for 15 minutes without budging, so I parked and went in, where I waited another half hour for my meal, opened the bag, and realized they didn't even put a toy in the meal. I had thi wait five more minutes as the woman kept whizzing past me to help other customers and fill orders with me trying to get her attention. 3/5 times I come, the fries are cooked with old oil or cold. I usually go between 2 and 6pm. I need to find another McDonald's.”

“Each dish was thoughtful and delicious. I appreciated the explanation of the ingredients as the dish was presented. Having everyone seated and served at the same time provides a nice shared experience for everyone in the establishment.”

“One of the best spots for vegan options during my NO visit. The restaurant seems to be between comfort and bar food with healthier options than the typical bar restaurant. The sushi rice bowl was my favorite and while there I think I ate the entire vegan portion of the menu with my gal. Customer service was great and the outside area is the best place to eat in the spring. One major issue was a band of smelly misfits who let their street dogs roam around. Not sure why the restaurant allowed that....”

“This is a tentative review because I was in a rush and did not get to try as much as I'd like. I got my food to go and only stayed ten minutes. That being said, the Portabella Mushroom sandwich was incredible, huge, and filling. I was so full I couldn't even touch the hummus until I got home. The bread that came with it tasted fresh baked and herby. The hummus is not the best I've had; I prefer more tahini. However, the ambiance was relaxed with some neat arcade games. The cocktail list looks incredible and I can't wait to return to try it!”

“I'm giving this place five stars, because of the bartender Sophia. I had the trout for starters and my friend had the pickled sampler. Then he had steak and I had scallops crusted with Lancaster county pretzels with orzo rice. And arugula salad which had a lovely dressing. Sorry, but the scallops were a bit too salty, but the rice was great. Could have used a bit less salt, but it was fine either way. But the beauty of it all was the dessert. Oh my gawd. We had a different floured carrot cake -- I think it was semolina. But listen they had this mocha crumbled ice cream. I got my whole life with it.”

“We were headed to a different restaurant when a delicious smell caught our attention. So I followed my nose... It is a small, limited seating counter bar with beer and wine. The owner/butcher/chef is a one man army, whipping delicious food up from scratch. Be prepared to wait and watch as he takes everything from scratch and creates a delicious meal made from love. Ask about the "white sauce".”

“I did not go to New Orleans for Asian Fusion but, oh my!!! All I can say is, YES! Delicious Pho, fluffy bao stuffed with proteins. Flavorful spring rolls stuffed with crisp fresh vegetables. Friendly service with a clean open kitchen. It's not pretentious just delicious.”

“Cheap alcohol and cigarettes, plus they've got a lot of other stuff too. And you can build your own pizza at the Garage in the back. Friendly crew working too. Dependable spot.”

“Great pie! 5 Star value - My pizza was loaded with meat on a simple large pepperoni, which caused a few slices to be a bit soggy (due to grease from all the meat) - but regardless it was delicious! Reheated even better - so it may be worth asking for the crust well done in the future. Will certainly be a return customer - a perfect mix up for the other amazing Pizzeria we have in the Bywater imo, give them a try!”

“I'm giving it 3 stars, for being what it is. I go here knowing though when I'm around, but I almost always question the decision. Everything just is, foods alright not warm not cold. Same goes for the staff in my experience. It's cheap, I can walk up or ride to the window. It's grimey, I looked inside and it needs some cleaning and work I'm sure no one is trying to do. Signs are crooked, they blow away put back just enough to exist. That's how I feel about this place, but it's never made me sick. Probably boosting my immune system if anything. Not health food that's for sure, going to say nothing organic or free-range. If you need quality and aren't the kind of person that eats off of food carts (not trucks, carts) and places with questionable hygiene this isn't going to be your spot. Not saying that the staff isn't hygienic, I honestly don't know. Can't see where they make it. If you want nice and wiped down or even a toilet look on either side, front/back of this building and you got options. It will cost you, but it's probably worth it. There's places to eat outside. People often ask for change and I got a guy who for sure was living rough something, he was friendly when asking and genuinely seemed to appreciate it, just asked was for a simple item. It exists, in a way it's good it does. It could be better or it simply is, what it is.”

“We stopped by in a late night hunger frenzy and Melba’s delivered. Little more expensive than I had hoped but definitely good eats. It is clear that they promote a family atmosphere highlighting each employee and how many children they have. Great place with local color”

“Fresh ingredients and flavors new to me come together for a deliciously fresh tasting meal with loads of flavor in every bite. The laksa bowl is a personal favorite and a go to choice but I would ask for extra lime and sauce for even more flavor in every bite. The yahoo egg rolls are another great choice as they come with 3 different sauces for a variety of flavor. Whether you want to try something new or want a nice fresh meal I highly reccomend stopping by Laksa NOLA.”

“The sesame ginger wings were amazing! I will be back for those! The only reason I gave them 3 stars was because we waited over an hour to be seated and service was pretty slow. For an entree I ordered Pasta Lenora and it wasn't great. It tasted like they popped open a jar of Alfredo sauce and sprinkled cayenne pepper in it. I feel the pasta could have been better, but those wings were everything!”

“Fritai at St. Roch market is my go-to spot in New Orleans for a delicious and satisfying meal with friendly and fast service. When you go, you have to try the fritai - trust me, you won’t regret it - and the crab mac n’ cheese is out of this world. Every experience has been incredible. Highly recommend whether you’re a local or checking out NOLA for the first time.”
