“One word to describe this experience, Amazing! From the quality of the food, the drinks, the service just everything was absolutely perfect. We tried the vegetarian chef tasting which included a variety of small plates and included a dessert course as well. All the staff was attentive and extremely helpful. “This is the BEST pasta I’ve ever had. The sauce is perfect, the filling in the ravioli is perfect, the service was great, everything. My dad got the special which was duck breast in a white sauce and loved it. Our waitress was very friendly (I think she might also be an owner) and was happy to make conversation. A perfect last dinner in Maine and a wonderful end to our vacation :)”

The dessert menu is equally as delicious as the main courses . The wine list is fantastic, with excellent choices from across the globe. The bar downstairs is great if you need to wait for a table, as the restaurant doesn't take reservations. There's a reason this restaurant appears on the best of lists. Brave the wait (especially during summer) and make this a must visit.”

“Only visited once but it was a mixed bag. We were fresh off of a trip to Germany and in the mood for some German brews. Unfortunately there was a problem with all of the Deutsche beer apparatus. “I was expecting a 5 star meal but they only delivered 4 stars. We got an early sitting outside. We ordered few appetizers and blacked swordfish plus scallops. They probably had an off night. It took close to an hour to get food. They did offer us another appetizer on a house due to the long wait. Everything had too much salt and my scallops were over slightly cooked. Service was good.”

“Wow... That chicken poutine was really good! Curds were all melty. The gravy was not a thick mess, more like an au jous. Very tasty! Building is nice and clean. It is my understanding that it is new construction but it doesn't have a sterile modern feel to it, has lots of character. Very comfortable space. Had never been to South Portland before, turns out it is quite different from regular Portland. Had a small town feel to it almost. And easy parking right on the street. (yup, way different than regular Portland, lol!) Lots of live music there.”
