“Very hip and trendy. The bowls were satisfying and filling. It was a great break from the traditional fried-food shacks. Only complaint is that...to sit outside, you have to walk around the building. Odd...but I understand.”

“Great little diner. Everything you would expect. Good coffee and great food. Indoor seating in a classic dining car, also booths and outdoor seating for the warmer months. Serving ingredients from local Maine area businesses. Also there are coffee cups for purchase as an awesome souvenir!”

“Well situated, this little shop offers a bit of French crepes in the middle of Portland. The menu should fit any preferences and the crepes are really good. Service is rather fast, bit longer than in other places, but that is a fait cost to pay to eat well. Prices are low, you can eat for 2 for less than $20 which is pretty cheap for a city location. The owner has a real coffee machine and that makes a whole lot of difference. Highly recommended!”

“Love this pizza! Whether by the slice from the counter on the right, or sit down at the bar or tables through the door on the left - locals and tourists love this spot. Their mashed potato, bacon & scallion is a go to for so many! Happy hour specials.”

“TAVFT is amazing! Chef tony makes all the food from scratch and it doesn’t disappoint! My favorite is the cheesy fries and the burger! Their breakfast sandwich also is amazing if you want breakfast for lunch or dinner! His lemonade is tasty. Oh and his wife (who is the attendant) is such a sweetheart and so kind! Love her!! I’m grateful for them because it’s my vegan junk food savior!!”

“Order: Original Tonkotsu Ramen $11.99 -husband loved it! Yuzu Citrus Chicken Ramen $11.99 - it has a little kick to it because of the chili paste - I didn't care for the chicken. It feel like it could have been thinner slices and have more flavor 5 pcs Vegetable Pan Seared Dumplings $5.49 - dumpling didn't stay sealed well so I had to grab them in a way that didn't have all the insides spill out Located inside of Whole Foods. Service was friendly, but the counter wasn't very clean & we had to find our own chopsticks.”

“Very basic watering hole. Bartender was sweet. I've heard mamas crow bar, the bar prior was superior, but that's hearsay. Great outdoor space outback for when the sun actually shines. Just wish there were bar games inside, at least darts or something. Meh.”

“I read up on this Restaurant prior to visiting Maine. We decided this is where we will be having lunch since we were in the area. As we walk into the restaurant I saw that we were the only ones there since it was very early. A very nice gentle man having a pancake breakfast, another young man in the kitchen, and a beautiful young lady behind the cash register. I said I hope this restaurant live up to its rating and smile. They smile. We order our food and I asked my 3 yrs old grand daughter what she would like to eat. She said "pancake". I said to her honey they don't sell pancake here. The young man in the kitchen over heard me and stated " I have some batter left over I could make her some Pancakes". I could not believe my ears. Our food came out and everything look amazing, the lobster salad was delicious, the fish and chips and fish taco look so fresh. I would recommend this place to everyone. The people are very friendly and attentive. You will not regret visiting this place. AAA+++”

“The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly. Because everything is made to order you have to remember to give them time. I can usually get in during a lunch break, but when I plan poorly it gets close. I suggest planning on stopping here when you have extra time and can enjoy the food.”

“Good food, a bit $$. No ambience; unless you're looking for the genuine experience of a small eatery in that part of the world (florescent lights, tile floor, basic chairs and tables.) Friendly and accommodating staff (owners)! Vegan options are plentiful but do ask.”

“Amazing little BBQ joint! The friendliest staff! The most delicious BBQ. I had the best burger of my life there and my friend had a huge cuttingboard of all the meats! Just perfection! We sat outside, it was clean, tasty and a delightful experience! Menu was on the smaller side, but really great assortment of options. Can't wait to go back!”

“Excellent service. Excellent food. Loved the atmosphere. Husband and I shared many dishes (7?) and the bill was $48 (no drinks, not including tip). The small dishes allow you to bust out and try something new. Everything was delicious.”

“Prompt service and nice atmosphere - both follow in light of the creative and tasty dishes. Noodles were not overdone, spice was robust, and broth was light but full of flavor. Recommended.”

“5 star food in a cool and laid back environment. We had the monkfish and chicken, both were insanely tasty. We also brought our 10 month old in and the staff couldn’t have been cooler with it. We are no “foodies” but this is the type of place that makes you understand why some people call themselves that”

“Blue Spoon was an amazing dining experience, and I would definitely return in the near future. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was what really sold it for me. Blue Spoon has a very warm, cozy, and intimate feel to it and it all has a personable vibe to it. Anyways, for my dining experience, I am very happy that they managed to fit 11 of us into the restaurant within the same day. Hope was our server and she was phenomenal from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Despite being seated somewhat close to closing time, there was no pressure for us to leave from the staff (but we made sure to try to leave as soon as we could) and we greatly appreciated Hope and the kitchen staff for all of the hard work they put in to make this experience an unforgettable one”

“The wait was shorter than the wait time we were given and we were waiting for outdoor seating since our son was napping in his stroller. The 3 egg omelet was amazing!! And so filling!! Also for those with children they do have high chairs. My son woke up half way through brunch and the amazing waiter brought over a high chair. I can't wait to go back again!!”

“Wonderful Middle Eastern cuisine. Great hummus, and flat bread from a local Middle Eastern market. Specials board updated daily. Unique cocktail menu with local draft beers. Great open atmosphere, with garage-door style walls that open to the patio seating area in the warmer months.”

“Expect no heavy whiff of atmospheric elegance here, the Zoo is eccentric and honest in its pursuits - that is, to provide you with a proud and varied list of local beers, pet some dogs who appear to be let down from finding out that the Zoo is in fact not an actual zoo, all the while playing some disco deep cuts in the background. Check it out and embrace the occasionally sticky counters.”

“The Tortellini Carbonara and Veal Piccata were delicious. I was not in need of dessert but the chocolate cake was absolutely decadent and worth saving room for. Highly reccomend. I even left with a Christmas gift for my mom!”

“What a cool cafe concept for a pottery shop! My husband and I had brunch here and had a lovely time. The mimosas were flowing, the brunch food offerings were top notch and the service was perfect. My only wish is that it was cooler inside. Being sweaty while eating breakfast is not exactly ideal. But other than that we loved it!”

“Absolutely cannot say enough good things about The Shop... atmosphere was perfect, patio was lovely, oyster selection was amazing, ladies behind the bar were fantastic. Even pricing was great! We could have chowed down on another dozen oysters if we weren’t trying to get over to Fox Street. Highly recommend doing a full sampler to try a little of everything... didn’t know just how different oysters could taste from different areas of Maine! Loved the experience.”

“Amazing pulled pork sandwich! I am a pulled pork sandwich aficionado and this was top notch. The aroma of the smoky pork is what hits you first but it's the slaw dressing and the sauce combined with that pork that really pulls (no pun intended) it all together. And he stocks some great local craft beers. I will bring my pulled pork-loving friends here and they will buy me beer for introducing them to the greatness of A & C.”

“I enjoyed my visit here a lot. A nice, small spot with a good selection of beer. I was a bit thrown off when I ordered the Hawaiian T-Shirt Cannon and the bartender cracked open a can and poured it into my glass, but it was still good. Nice atmosphere and great merchandise selection. We left with a sticker, pint glass, hat, tin-tacker and a long-sleeve t-shirt.”
