“We tried out The Lodge in Annapolis,MD today and the food was absolutely delicious the restaurant is beautiful. It's got a rustic comfy vibe. We sat at a high top in the bar area as initially it wasn't very busy. The service was good. We had the bartender James and he was fantastic definitely working his butt off to take care of customers. Once it did get a little busy we ended up waiting an hr for our food, but I think they are trying to get the an understanding for the how they need to staff still. Overall we will definitely be returning soon to try more dishes out. The bacon steak and fried green tomatoes are a 100% must try.”

I had the duck ravioli which was fantastic, and ricotta cheesecake for dessert. We also shared a really great bottle of wine. “Pretty good but left a lot to be desired. The rolls are just good, definitely not a wow. What is a wow though is all the presentation. Everything is plated nicely, all nice silverware and such. Fire and dragon roll came out with a short burst of fire. Cool interior but personally not a fan. Lights are distractingly bright and the whole room feels more sterile than cozy. Needs an airlock door to keep the heat in and more intimate lighting. Potentially a lot nicer on a summer day or night though (it’s winter now) The sushi grade of the sashimi is not all the way there yet. The fatty tuna was 10/10 but the salmon was 5.5/10, slightly slimy and chewy. Very friendly staff For me the atmosphere and sushi is not worth the price and a visit back, but that’s my opinion. But you should still try it out because it’s unique and just opened so will get better and better.”
