“I'm not one for writing reviews but I feel compelled to mention something. Today is my second day of stopping in to 'borrow' the wifi and get a little work done before the local library opens and PJ's is an excellent place for a good cup of coffee from friendly people. I have never been one for Starbucks and my recent visits I've had to come to grips with the cost of a boring brand. PJ's is very affordable and as I noted before the coffee is good. I haven't had any of the food so I'm not able to comment.”

“Friendly staff, lots of options. The prices are reasonable considering they are a small batch bakery and make everything daily. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and were the only customers My daughter got a few ice cream samples and settled on red velvet cheesecake with sprinkles. We also got a red velvet cupcake for later. In past visits we got vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with a variety of different frostings. All of them were great and there was definitely more than enough icing for a good ratio. Not that the cake needed it. They were all moist and had a good crumb that didn’t fall apart as we ate them. They have a bright, open seating area to enjoy your treats and they have a party room for groups. But we chose to eat our ice cream in the car this time because the smell of the air freshener being used was so strong that it was stinging our noses. We’re hoping this isn’t normal and was only because they’re weren’t a lot of people and movement in the store to disperse the smell. Not a huge deal, but we decided to get only 1 cupcake for my daughter, instead of the 4 pack we talked about. Something about walking into a bakery and smelling the bathroom air freshener didn’t match up. We’ll give it a try again soon.”

“I've heard great things about the desserts here and I finally was able to pop in to try them out. The whole atmosphere was coffee bar lounge and not dessert, so it seemed to be that the desserts were an afterthought instead of the focus of this establishment. They serve wine too if that's your thing. I took home an assortment of desserts. They score high points on decorations and presentation, but I place more emphasis on the actual taste and found these desserts to be just average. By all means they'll pair well with a coffee or wine while you're lounging, but I think the desserts are not on the same level as other bakeries in the area that focus just on the sugary goods.”

“Overall a 10/10! I highly recommend Wee Bean! The flavor will hook you. The great part of Wee Bean is that they serve traditional coffee options but also coffee with a twist such as the Iced Neapolitan Shaken Espresso which will blow your mind on how great it tastes! Their bakery items are extremely good, I recommend the toasted Cheese Danish. Their hot coffee options can be ordered iced and I highly recommend the Snickerdoodle Macchiato it’s my go to drink at Wee Bean. Another major plus about Wee Been is that they’re pet friendly! “I got an Everything Bagel toasted with Honey Walnut and an Iced Mocha and I really like both. The Iced Mocha is very coffee-y and chocolatey which is good. The bagel and cream cheese were really good as well. My bagel was cut across as well for some odd reason but I don't think they normal do that. The style of the place is very modern hipster college imo. A little Tropical Smoothie meets bagel shop and that's reflected in the bagel options which I feel lean on the healthy-ish side. They also have an Everything Wheat bagel, which I'd never seen before, as well as an Egg bagel among others. In turn, they lack some sugary bagels like Cinnamon Sugar or anything location specific (I've seen a French Toast bagel before, for example). They did have Chocolate Chip and Blueberry (if you count that for sugar), though. It's very clean and the service is very good and the people are friendly. Also, for 8AM on a Friday morning, they weren't terribly busy and didn't have much wait time.”

“We used Stone House Cakery for our wedding cake and it was perfect. We had our wedding at Antrim 1844 right up the street from the bakery and Stone House was one of the recommended vendors. We actually walked down from the venue, tried some cupcakes and decided right then and there to go with Stone House as our vendor. They were delightful and responsive. They made us feel very comfortable and they delivered the cake exactly as promised. It was delicious... if only we had practiced shared cake cutting!”

“Our go to spot for ice cream in Frederick. They have a big menu with lots of different flavors and a variety of items like milkshakes, sundaes, cones, etc. The scoops are really big. They give out coupons sometimes and I use their rewards program to get a birthday treat and $5 off every once in a while. They also offer free pup cups for our puppies which comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a milk bone treat. The drive thru is really fast or you can go up to the counter to order and sit outside on the benches or tables.”

“For a quick, late breakfast this place was okay! Service was relatively quick despite there being a line. We got a few kinds of savory bagels with spreads and a BLTA sandwich. All were fresh, served perfectly toasted/hot, and had a good ratio of toppings to bread. I'm no bagel pro or savant, so these were just another sandwich to me. The biggest advantage they have is lots of seating with a lower and upper level PLUS outdoor seating when the seasons permit. The restaurant itself felt clean, but the poor staff is stuck dealing with too many customers that won't bus their own tables (despite there being ample trash cans and dish returns throughout the dining areas). Perhaps more signage or stronger reminders to customers could help? But I don't blame staff for not wanting the extra labor. For convenience, this place works. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Wish the patrons were a little more thoughtful. It's a good alternative when I want a walk and something different from my neighborhood bagel spot in Mount Vernon (Belvedere Bagels).”

They also have a mint chocolate oat milk version. The staff was very kind. The prices seem reasonable as pictured we opted for the cookies and cream oat milk. Again it was very good however we were disappointed that there were only 2 vegan friendly flavors as opposed to the advertised number of flavors. “When visiting the town of Berlin Maryland,this pizza shop is a must visit. It’s not your typical pizza shop slinging cheese and pepperoni pizza slices across the counter. (Although you can get cheese and pepperoni slices). The owner of this shop creates pieces of art that you eat! That’s rite, his pies are pieces of art.once you step inside you will understand.
