“Very nice place to relax and have a good meal. They have both a tavern and a formal dining room. I have heard good things about this place so decided to have lunch with friends. We ate in the dining room and it was elegant, as well as relaxing. Chowder was excellent and I had a ham and brie on a croissant-also very good. I will definitely return for dinner and I would definitely recommend it to others”

“I feel like we found a gem! Food was delicious and came out quickly, service was excellent, and we got an added bonus of petting 2 adorable dogs (who I think live there) on our way out. Just a warning that they are cash only, we didn’t know when we sat down but they were so nice about it and let us order before we ran to the ATM down the street. Will definitely be back again next time we are in the area!”

“Very nice pizzeria with excellent quality pizza and pasta. The pizza is made fresh right there and not stored frozen. Overall it is a great place and I would definitely recommend it. My only complaint is that the pizza was falling apart a little bit, but it was fresh so it was worth it! ????”

“A la oyster stew soup $17. Delicious! But not too happy with seared tuna bowl $20. Appeals to the eye with its artsy colors. Everyone has different taste pallet, though. It is organic. Does that mean wild catch? It could be less butter or not at all on rice. Sticky rice would be a perfect. Sauteed wok, ginger. If you choose this dish and like spice, need to ask. Or just stick to the oyster which what they named for. Has great customer service. Fantastic staff!”

“Went here for my first and second time within a week. The first time was for my anniversary not knowing anything about the place. Based on the website I was expecting a bit more of a "fancy" place... Come to find out it's quite loud and that's not really what they are going for. The food was great for the anniversary occasion though and very well priced for what you get! I went back expecting "fancy" food at a sports bar and got just that!!! Will return!”

“Ate here a few times. Everything I had was excellent. The woodwork inside is beautiful. Also, I use to work for a company where their members would pick up wholesale goods. They never once pushed their religion on me but they did push free muffins on me which were to date the best I've ever had. This place is very well reviewed for good reason. Almost all the negative (2 stars or less) reviews are not even based on the food or service. They're based on the reviewers bigotry. Seems to me, these days, the louder someone screams for tolerance the less tolerant they are. It's especially comical to read people saying things like "don't eat here they use slave/forced labor" or things if that nature. If you really cared about labor rights then you wouldn't be reviewing from a Chinese made phone.”

“The ambiance is awesome, and the layout is friendly and inviting. Now, the staff: I had the privilege of meeting a few awesome people. One from Turkey, one from Colombia, and two from Macedonia. These four made my day. First, their personalities were out of this world. They were warm, friendly and from the few days that I have been here in the Cape, it was refreshing to meet genuinely good people. And, the food was fantastic.”

“This is going to be a detailed review because there is a lot of information you need to know. To start, although the address is a Main street address, the actual building and the entrance is down a long, narrow driveway, And rather than looking for a parking spot on Main Street, know that there is plenty of parking in the lot at the end of the driveway. Everything about the restaurant is not like anything you are expecting. It's small with only about 5 booths and 3 stools at the counter. The booth seats have seen much better days. I'll get the food in a moment, which is why everyone comes, but it's served on paper plates and you'll get plastic utensils. The menu is extensive and although I can't say for sure, the meals seem prepared from scratch. The portions are huge and what we ordered was delicious. I suggest you try the Hibiscus tea for a drink you may have never had but will definitely want again. They are very busy with takeout orders which is understandable considering the sparsity of seating but the speed of service was reasonable. Bring cash if you want to avoid the credit card surcharge. This is not the place to go if you're looking impress someone with the ambiance but if you want to show off a great little hole-in-the-wall, local joint with heaping portions of great food, don't hesitate.”
