Love the concept, yea they have fuel, but the store has upscale snacks and drinks plus a deli cranking out fresh made breakfast and lunch items. I went with a BLAT - bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato, add: egg. The egg was fresh scrambled not that egg beater garbage. The bread was to die for!!! I understand it's a chain that's expanding slowly across the New England area. Look for one near you and check out the coolest gas station you'll ever see.”

Went yesterday and got the Chicken Katsu Lunch special, It also came with an peach iced tea that I finished before I got home, so sorry, no photo.. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The panko coating was crunchy and chicken was tender and moist , It was topped with a crunchy/refreshing slaw. And the fries were also quite delicious topped with a Tonkatsu sauce. I'll definitely be stopping in again and highly recommend you do the same.”

“The Village Store is a sweet neighborhood joint with good coffee and a full breakfast menu weekends; slightly more limited selections Tuesday-Wednesday. The muffins look good, but I always get the eggs. The cook owner has restored the space to its historical vibe as an everyone-knows-your-name kind of spot. It’s great to have a breakfast place nearby , and while I haven’t tried to lunches, it’s a budget-friendly spot in an increasingly expensive world. Fun fact: You can get 2 grilled hotdogs of $5 and bring your kids for a $3 peanut butter and fluff sandwich-which tells you the owner is a local who understands Massachusetts history and our proud invention of that sticky treat. I appreciate all the nods to the history or Forge Village and I’m glad this local color spot is up and running.”

“Went to Fourth and Field for the first time , hoping for a new, inspired restaurant in the area . The restaurant is basically the same as I remember it 15 years ago plus or minus a few pics , etc. I thought maybe we would see the new owners walking through the restaurant , making sure everyone was happy with their meals, etc. when we got there which was very early for dinner, we had the place to ourselves which was nice. We sat near the big windows to view the airstrip . We ordered a salad and the soup , both were fine but did take about 20 minutes to arrive even though we were the only ones seated . We both had a drink which was fine though they did not have Merlot . I noticed about only two beers on draught? Both of us ordered the Fillet Oscar , it came out looking okay but the amount of crab meat on top wasn’t even enough to taste and I didn’t see any béarnaise sauce . The asparagus and mashed potatoes were good. Overall , it was a pleasant evening and we will try it again but the prices were pretty high for this type of restaurant . I do hope Fourth and Field dies well !”

“Evergreen Room This restaurant draws a very specific crowd that happens to be my Jam! I have been there 3x and will hopefully be going again this afternoon. *Check out their open hours before going, as they seem to change with the season. I love it here, the aesthetic , the food and drinks, the wonderful staff! Totally my type of place. There’s just something about this place that makes me feel calm and makes me want to come back. All the snacks, deserts and drinks are a little different. Like goat cheese custard with cherries, mystery intention mimosas, teas with fun names (try the ice Twilight tea, it’s kinda of blue and delicious) and home grown herbs, and a stay gold drink (kind of like their mojito) that turns your tongue gold, and their Unknown drink that is AMAZING (really it’s my favorite)! Expect teas and alcoholic drinks with flowers in them, expect food to not taste as you are used to it, and everything is amazing. Everything is local and sustainably sourced, and priced accordingly, I believe you can get snacks and regular tea to go, but don’t quote me on that. If your taste buds resemble a toddlers I do not recommend this to you, but if you like something different, if you like fun drinks, teas, and snacks, or if your a modern day healer I totally recommend; this may also be a fun spot to take your girlfriends for that mystery intention mimosa during a girls night, I find the men I have taken here do not love it as much as my girlfriends and I do. Oh and if you like plant stuff, herbs, tinctures, fun jewelry check out the apothecary next door I’m pretty sure they are owned by the same person!”

They also looked awesome, and delivery the morning of the party was seamless. Much more reasonably priced than any other bakery.
