“Wow I am surprised at the negative reviews. I have to disagree. Yes, the renovation changed a lot. Some things I miss, but overall I still love the place. Pros - I had a chicken schnitzel salad and it was SO GOOD. Can’t speak to the other food tho -I LOVE the enclosed patio. The lighting is soft and nice, and the motion-sensor heat lamps are cozy af. -Staff is great! -Music and ambiance on point! -It’s a fine place to hunker down and get some work done -Coffee is high quality -Beer selection is above average Cons -Not as loungey as it once was (but more seating) -I do miss the sandwiches -it’s expensive (but not more expensive than your average Bloomfield Hills restaurant) -Kitchen is closed on Mon & Tues I appreciate this place. ????”

“I met who I presume are the owners of Band of Brothers Water Co. at the Whole Foods in Birmingham. Thought they were giving out beer samples because that’s how the bottle is purposefully designed, but even better, it was sparkling water! They kindly let me sample both the lime & grapefruit flavors. Both pretty good and you can certainly taste that the flavoring is the actual fruit, not a synthesized chemical blend. I bought a 6-pack to support this lovely local business. ???? It’s a great product and I’d support them again!”

“Not a huge fan of fast food because I am a health freak but when on the run sometimes I resort to the grilled chicken snack wrap unsweetened Ice tea or an iced coffee which are my three favorite items on the menu. Sometimes the snack wraps are made fresh and other times the lettuce is old and starting to brown and the ranch tastes off but in general still a great option to fall back on. For cheat days their chocolate chip cookies are amazing especially when fresh.”

“I been going to this location on and off for a while and I have to say I always get great service. I do admit I go there after lunch time so I don’t have to deal with the rush. Even after the lunch rush, the staff has always been friendly and courteous. During winter time, they made sure salt was on the property so the ice will melt away faster. Drive through time has always been great and so has walk in. They always ask if I want to dine in or to go. Only issue I ever had was the soda machine running out of syrup. I wish they either put in a another one or go back to the old-style coke machine. Customer Service = 10/10 Cleanliness = 10/10 Food = 8/10 Décor = 7/10”

“Went to Gateway on the day they opened and had The D burger: it was so good that I wanted to write a 5-star review immediately but the location was not yet showing on Google Maps. Now I can do so, obviously! I have been back several times since and have not been disappointed. Our most recent discovery has been the chili, which is hands-down the best chili that I have tasted at any diner ever. It tastes homemade, which is a compliment. It is extremely rich in flavor and is definitely a must-have. The staff are great and the owner has come over to the table every time that I have been there to get feedback on the food and ensure that everything is satisfactory. I really hope that Gateway Deli is successful, because the standard of food that they put out means that it certainly deserves to be. Looking forward to more deliciousness in the near future!”

“New restaurant that opened in Lathrup Village. The Jagged fork offers a variety of breakfast entrees from eggs, pancakes and waffles to a variety of french toast, crepes and omelettes. They also offer a nice lunch selection of salads and sandwiches. Unfortunately they are not open for dinner. The entire waitstaff did an outstanding job. Kayla provided us with exceptional service and patience for our first time visit there. A steady stream of customers. Did not have to wait long for our food or to be seated. A comfortable and social setting. We look forward to coming back again and possibly making this our regular breakfast Hub.”
