“I am so glad they rebuilt! The newly rebuilt restaurant is very bright - and inviting - and the food is ALWAYS good. The food looks good - tastes good - and you never leave hungry! Usually we eat from the traditional breakfast menu on the back of the menu, but today we opened to cols specials - on the inside back cover of the menu - and they were delicious!! The special pancakes tasted like dessert!! And the soft eggs over chorizo, corn & black beans were excellent!”

“I came here for lunch the other day The place looks fantastic inside, and I love all the windows and TV screens they have. I came in and sat at the bar. I ordered up a medium pizza with Pepperoni and ground beef. My Pizza was so yummy. It was fantastic. It did seem to take a little longer to get my food then it should have. But they have only been open a couple of days and probably still working on their groove.”

“My friend and I came here for the pasta. I was pleasantly surprised that they had endless pasta bowls on Wednesday. When we went to the door, was greeted right away. The host greeted us with a smile and was very welcoming. I had the house salad with house dressing; it's was delicious. I had spaghetti with meat sauce that was very flavorful. I will be back again. “The food was good. We got a selection of savory crepes as well sweet crepes. If you don't like crepes, obviously this is not a great place for you. The savory crepes were flavorful, but the steak one could have used more steak or maybe thinner slices of steak to facilitate more even meat distribution throughout the dish. The sweet dessert crepes were yummy. Atmosphere is quaint and we had a nice quiet meal.”

I've been coming to Little Bros for the better part of my (almost) 5 year stint in Michigan so far, and it's really becoming a staple of the complete night out in Royal Oak for my group of friends. For those who haven't seen the storefront, I'll give you a little preview: It's a small building with classic styling themes and a straightforward menu. Calling out the small factor now because that's probably one of the only gripes that people will have about Little Bros: it gets cramped inside whenever it's busy. Inside the restaurant, the seating area is an L-shaped Bar, with less than 10 seats (approx.) altogether. When it's busy -- AKA the end of the night -- you'll find that it's standing room only as people are waiting for their food. Usually it's not the end of the world as food arrives quite quickly and people who are standing cycle in and out quickly. Onto the food and drinks! The menu is laid out on the wall breaking down the standard fare and it's what you'd expect: burgers, sliders, chicken strips, etc. As mentioned before, the food comes out quickly, but everything happens pretty quickly at the restaurant. It's no Michelin Star restaurant, but taste is solid and won't leave you with any complaints. With the shuffle of folks in and out and limited space inside, efficiency is the name of the game at peak times. If you're still trying to figure out what to get, step to the side and let the regulars order first (it helps everyone, I promise). Saving the best for last -- the folks who operate the restaurant. Seriously everyone at Little Bros is cool and kind to customers. My friends who frequent Royal Oak tend to go every week and have developed a great connection with the staff, it's awesome to see it. Go support a local business and try out Little Bros!”
