“A must visit The staff and the food are worth a visit. There is a great variety of tacos to order al a cart or try the special. Two tacos and two sides for a special low price. The tortilla soup was one of my favorites, it had some vegetables in it that I wasn't expecting but that gave it a good consistency. The shrimp taco was delicious with a great sauce that had a bit of a kick. The barda was great, served warm with lime and sauce. It is in a strip mall, so not much curb appeal. But when you get inside you are greeted with burst of color and fun lights. Be sure to say hi to the bartender as he is very friendly and full of energy.”

“I’m very, very glad that “The Port of Peri Peri” finally opened!! While many eatery’s have increased their pricing, I do have to say that this place is worth every “Peri” penny 🙋♂️. Plentiful chicken options but I specifically chose the following highlights: *Peri Cassava Fries* which came with two delightful dipping sauces. *Veg Burger* because I prefer to be different (medium spice level), which is hotter than locally, standard medium. *Steamed Vegetables* which were nicely & lightly seasoned. *Sultan Power drink* note it doesn’t have any caffeine but includes some sugar and stevia. I chose the ginger and honey 🍯 drink which was perfectly satisfying for me. I would definitely order the same again but will try the other diverse protein options before I have their chicken which is what they’re well known for. Now…Order up & welcome to Rochester Hills.”

“This was our first visit. I ordered Hand Battered Icelandic Cod with fries and coleslaw. The fish and fries were very good. I didn't care for the coleslaw, but I think it's just personal preference. I like slaw that is sweet. This wasn't and you could actually taste the cabbage. Some people might like that better. My husband had French Dip with sweet potato fries. No complaints. In addition to the standard menu, they have a breakfast menu Monday-Saturday from 10am to 3pm. On Sunday they have a bunch/breakfast buffet, but also options for lunch or dinner. And a full bar for those interested. I should also mention they have a covered but open outdoor patio that overlooks a lake.”

“Yes it's pretty much your typical local ice cream stand. Just a quaint little stand with a few picnic tables, nothing fancy. But isn't that what you love about them. The perfect destination for a walk or bike ride with a large selection of pretty much any ice cream concoction you can dream up, from simple to extra fancy. There's a Royal Reese's sunday that's abit pricey but plenty for two to share and it's quite spectacular. Staff is always friendly and even when there's a line it moves fairly quick.”

I got the matcha red bean and it was so strong. Very very bitter and not that sweet or milky. The blend could have been a bit better. :( I tried this place because they were conveniently close as opposed to my go to which is in Novi. I guess the only time I'll come here is if I don't want to make the drive to my usual.”
