“Excellent first meal at Vicia. Overall, top notch across the board. Front of the house, run by Tara, was on point for most part. Beverage program was creative. Check out their wine list, which is uniquely curated and has a lot of little gems from non-traditional spots. Of the six dishes we ordered, there were no misses and everything was fired perfectly. The menu changes frequently so the next time I'm in town, I'll definitely return. Vicia deserves all the accolades it's reaped.”

“Good for late night meal, especially half priced apps. The server was attentive and food served quickly. I had wings & onion rings which were good & served hot. Unfortunately they couldn't seem to get my dining partner's order right. He ordered nachos with just chili & cheese. 1st time they brought out loaded nachos. Second time they brought out nacho chips & cheese. Third time took so long he cancelled order & shared my food.”

“As a study spot, this place is pretty good. Outside of that I'd probably pass. They do have lots of table with a decent amount of booths. Outlets are minimal but they are around, but if you're absolutely dependent on it, I'd probably look somewhere else. It's a lot quieter than your typical panera, but still a perfect amount of that background coffee shop noise.”

“I waited for a long time to be able to go to this lovely restaurant and I finally got to do it on my birthday. First thing I noticed was the very inviting atmosphere of this amazing bar and the smell of freshly smoked BBQ in the air. After being seated we where greeted by a wonderful server and she brought us the drink menu. Now as much as I wanted to have a alcoholic beverage for my birthday I was enticed by the restaurants non alcoholic drinks. One being made with Earl grey tea and looking like a beer. Then we ordered our food and It was love at first sight. The smoked wings nearly brought a tear to my eye. The of the bone rib sandwich was incredible and the smoked turkey leg was a sight to behold. On top of that all of the sides were amazing. All in all The Midwestern is one of the TOP BBQ restaurants in the Downtown St Louis area and they are definitely giving all the others a run for their money.”

“Went here for an anniversary dinner on new years day and it was a great find. Given the limited options of open restaurants on the holiday, we're so glad Bridge was! The dinner was delicious (get the grapefruit salad!) and for dessert we got the brie and chocolate board - amazing! Also very reasonably priced, nothing on the menu was over $20 and they were good sized portions.”

“This is a hidden gem of a sandwich shop in downtown St. Louis. I have been several times and their hot sandwiches never disappoint. The best way to describe them is that they are a little like a Quiznos sandwich, but they actually taste good. They give you lots of quality ingredients then toast it with gooey melted cheese. Yum. The people who work there are super nice and I will definitely be back again.”

“Come on a Friday or Saturday night to party, come back on Sunday morning for brunch! The place to be in STL for sure. Get a group together at night and get a table in the upstairs VIP mezzanine looking down on the crowd and the dance floor (and for a little extra breathing room). Come back for brunch and get unlimited mimosas and a truck stop to cure the previous night’s effects.”

“This place hosted my university for arch madness and we got samples for dinner. Fried green tomato sandwich was easily 5 stars. It was the best thing. Chicken tenders were alright. Honey mustard is good. I don’t know how you make a mac n cheese with no leftover cheese sauce or flavor though??? Like the only flavor is coming from the candied bacon??? Try it for the fried green tomato sandwich.”

“Nice pizza and sub place directly across Market Street from the Young Federal Building on the corner of the UHaul building. It's not fancy but there's plenty of comfortable seating or easy to pick up and go. Use the "ritual" app to order ahead. Most people get pizza by the slice, with one for $3.25 and two+drink for $7. Four or five options are hot and ready to go. Their style is hand tossed, but they also offer thin crust. Pizzas are the same price no matter how many toppings or if they're "specialty", so you might as well load it up.”

“Nixta is a rare find that you have to try. The design and aesthetic is on point and that’s just the atmosphere. Make sure to try one of their local cocktails and the soups. Wow. We did a couple plates between two people their were many dishes we wanted to try. They also have vegan and vegetarian dishes. To top it off, our server was so passionate about each dish, it was like listening to a story.”

“Everything we had is sophisticated, cook perfectly and is creative as well. I like the restaurants use special ingredients that we can’t find in the stores. The appetizer with pickle berry and green almond was very special, the taste is so refreshing. It is a wonderful summer dish. Elaia is definitely a must-try restaurant in St.Louis!”

“I adore this place. Great patio, the wood fire oven is right there. Fresh fresh fresh ingredients. Great drink selection if you like trying new things. The bruschetta and egg salad were both fantastic. We did family style and did the bacon wrapped dates, braised lamb hummus, and the gyro sandwich as well. I recommend them all!”

“The restaurant has seating at the nice sized butcher block looking bar and some tables as well. The place is quite small so you may have to wait to be seated. The atmosphere is clean & simple; the wait staff friendly & efficient. We were there for dinner which consists of 18” pizzas and several appetizers. We opted for salads & pizza. Our Italian & Caesar side salads were fresh and flavorful. We had the Classic pizza (tomato, mozzarella & basil) and red wine. Hands down a superbly crafted pizza. They give you one of several dipping sauces for the crust. We only ate half of the pizza & they boxed up the remaining half. For dessert they had large chocolate chip cookies which were delectably soft with plenty of chocolate melted chips. This went great with the perfectly brewed coffee I had. Also, purchased a couple of loaves of their fresh baked bread.”

“When people think of great Italian food, fine dining and St. Louis, THIS is what people are thinking about. “The first time I came here I was 20 years old. My friend’s wonderful father (rest his soul) took my friend and I out to lunch. He recommended a sandwich with beef and Gorgonzola cheese. It was so delicious, 19 years later I’ve never tried anything else. Maybe this year I’ll try something new. Here’s to 20 more years”

“Absolutely incredible! Jeremy was an amazing server, very transparent with the kitchen wait time. We stopped here on our way to the blues game expecting good food because it’s the hill. “This is an old school tavern that was the backdrop to so many Anheuser Busch commercials. The place is dark, low key and is known for their burgers (often voted best in the country). Their burgers are big and thick like the kind you would make at home...oh, and they're cheap. Bar service until 3 am.”
