Considering rent is through the roof in Franklin Lakes, this is not Paterson. So the last negative review is upset because they reserved for 6 but only 4 showed up (doesn't matter why) and I guess they expected to be left in the 6 person table, well that's business, that's life. And it seems your fire paranoia is a personal issue you need to take up. The other negative review is a job applicant who according to poster is 10 minutes late. I employ many people, with me of your late you dont even walk in my office.”

Our server was an absolute sweetheart and since I am vegan, she kept checking with the chef to make sure all of my questions were answered about the different items on the menu; overall they were very accommodating. We opted for the lunch buffet and until 1/30/19, Bricklane has a 2 for 1 lunch buffet special to promote the buffet, so our lunch cost close to nothing. Definitely try and stop in before then to score a great deal! Aside from that, the food was wonderful and packed with flavor so even if you miss the lunch buffet special or want to order traditional a la carte, you will not be disappointed with your meal at Bricklane.”
