“Definitely a keeper !! A local sandwich store that has exceeded my expectations. Located in a dingy yet safe(thanks to Durham police office) strip mall in Durham, this food joint might come across as a place not worth stepping in. I bet you would feel otherwise when you leave. They have reasonable sandwich options and more than a couple of vegetarian options. Their signature focaccia bread is as soft a pillow. We ordered the Grilled tomato mozzarella sandwich and the pimento cheese sandwich with soup. The vegetable soup was bit too salty for our liking. However, both the sandwiches were delightful. Their sandwiches are spicy but if that is not enough for you.. There are hot sauces to spice it up. I recommend the Papaya hot sauce. Their sandwiches are definitely under priced when compared to their peers. Tasty sandwich on soft breads and as cheap as it can get.”

“We went to eat-in late on a Sunday evening after 8:00. We were one of 3-4 parties eating in. Salad bar was fine with all fresh stuff. They sell beer in bottles. Pizza came promptly, hot and fresh and tasted great. The facility has obviously been there a while but it seemed to be clean and well cared for. Since I know Pizza Hut maybe my expectations were set accordingly, still I’m quite pleased with the whole experience. If I had suggestions, it would be more light in the parking lot, more attention to keeping the glass clean and, if the customer can see them, don’t let the garbage cans get full.”

“Redd's Restaurant Equip is a smaller establishment, with a great variety and good stock. I picked up an array of a few commercial knives and a huge cutting board; for very reasonable prices. I was greeted immediately, which I always appreciate and the lady was available whenever I needed her. I do plan on going back.”

“First, Bojangles' is a great place to eat! While there is a consistency at the Bojangles' locations, we've noticed some differences in the way the biscuits are made and the chicken is cooked. I believe this is because each location has their own "Master Biscuit Maker," which is a great thing. With that said, this location has the best Cajun Filet Biscuit, hands down. We'll go out of our way to stop at this location to eat. Definitely worth it!”

“I first visited New Japan a few years back and it was pretty typical Japanese American food. However, the restaurant smelled like grease and it was very dirty. I visited again recently. They've cleaned up the grease smell and the dining room was much cleaner. The food was slightly better than last time but now they water down their white sauce and it lacks a lot of the flavor.”

“I am a seafood lover and this place was fantastic. Daily fresh seafood (when they are out they are out). It’s a cute little shack with the best tasting food. You can choose from seafood plates or seafood rolls. Plates come with slaw (not mayonnaise based) and sliced potatoes. Seafood is lightly breaded and seasoned. Hush puppies lay in honey. They are to die for! Super yummy place. We are from Ohio but have family here. We will certainly return. Thank you Saltbox for the delicious experience. Ps the lemon punch is delightful.”
