“We must have caught them on an off night. The food was delicious, but it took us over an hour to be served. We had to ask our waitress, who was very sweet, if we could order drinks and then later our meals, after waiting about 10 minutes each time, rather than her approaching us to take an order. At one point she came to let us know our food would be ready in 5 minutes but it was another 15 before it arrived. Unfortunately, we then had to rush through our meals so we could make the show that was two hours after hour reservation time.”

“A nice and Cozy cafe. The entrance is hard to spot from outside. There is an entry through the hotel parking lot. The down side of the cafe is that they got a limited selection of coffee and only serve dark roasted coffee. I wish that they had more varieties of coffee or medium roasted coffee.”

“Pour your own beer spot located under the Unscripted in downtown Durham. Patrons receive a bracelet they scan at taps and the cab choose beer of choice and pour as much as they want. They have a large selection and a smaller selection for wines. Great for someone who wants to sample different types. Can get very crowded. Has decent amount of seating. You have to check in at counter to get bracelet and then out there to return bracelet and pay. This can be a slow process when crowded. They also have food offerings to snack on while there.”

“My girlfriends & I had the best time at The Patio. The Frosé drinks were fantastic, salads were extremely fresh, the poké bowl was great & the guacamole/salsa combo were delicious. The pool itself was very refreshing & everyone was super friendly. Sonny the server was so nice and even found us at the pool to serve our drinks. We got there around 1 pm—not too crowded at all. Between 3-4 pm the patio was packed, but very manageable.”

They have a number of side options including things like avocado toast. Nice physical location inside and well located in downtown Durham in One City Center. Friendly staff and they are pretty efficient getting good out. I could see myself upping this rating over time, but my big complaint was that I ordered a seasonal salad with kale base and they did not remove the kale stalks. It was not just one but there were a number of sizable stalks in it. Beautiful looking salad with nicely variety of ingredients, but no one wants to chew on tough kale stalks.”

“My husband and I took my dad here last night and were really surprised by how much we loved it! The food was so, so good. There wasn't a thing we didn't love! The fried pickles were unbelievable, probably the best I have ever had. All of our burgers were great and all of the different kinds of fries were delicious. The beer and selection were good, too! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was great, and you just can't beat that EVERYTHING is made in house. This might be one of our new favorite spots in Durham!”

Bartenders are knowledgeable, creative, friendly, and skilled. Great vibe! We went on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty until around 5:15, from 5:30-6 it really filled up and people had to wait for table seating. Truly a must try for unique cocktails!”

Very little honey taste and zero pepper gravy, garlic potatoes zero garlic, seasoned green beans zero seasoning and they were cold. I wanted a strawberry daiquiri but go figure they didn't have a blender to make that. So i ordered a white zinfandel and only got a quarter glass way overpriced We asked our sever to clean our table 3 times because the first time it was wiped down with a stinky stale rag. Never happened. I had to ask 3 time for to go box. So 28.00 for this. Won't go back”

“This place is right around the corner from my office. So I am happy it’s so close. I’ve only ordered lunch to go from here. I would like to try some of the fresh fish and blue crabs they have. So maybe I will do that but I live in Raleigh and this shop is in Durham. The customer service each time has been awesome. I’ve called twice and placed an order over the phone and the staff is very polite. This will be a spot I continue to come to to grab lunch.”
