“I like this store because it is usually open when others are not. The Landfall store, down the road was closed due to "cooler restocking". Really!, before 2am? I was polite to the cashier at the Scotchman and he reciprocated. What more could you ask for. Thank you.”

“This is not just the best sandwich I’ve had from a food truck, it’s the best I’ve had in town! I’ve eaten at a lot of food trucks and haven’t left a review this one you cannot help but take the time to say just how dang good it really is! Extremely friendly, fast, and TASTY!!”

“Super stoked to found this place!! When Sarku Japan at Independence Mall was closed, we were so sad and my son was crying because it was his favorite place for chicken teriyaki noodle! The food, The cook and the cashier are exactly the same like at the Sarku Japan. Love it 🥰”

“My travels brought me here on a cold Tuesday evening, after hours of course. I broke through the window and ate the raw ingredients because I had no food left on my horse driven cart that I rode from various bagel and donut shops. I enjoyed what I ate, raw ingredients is never the best thing but a wizard must do what a wizard must do whilst traveling. You must know wizards cannot conjure food unless properly taught, I am but a youth in wizard trainings. That’s why I had to resort to breaking in through the window. Overall tho yeah it’s aight”

“I have tried this place twice and have to say it’s delicious. The first time, I got delivery and it was fresh, flavorful, and filling. Today, I went in and got take out. Again, and what I find impressive, is it was just as fresh and good. I feel like some places can skimp when it comes to delivery but they did not. I will say their decor is beautiful and elegant. The service was amazing and fast. I did a build your own bowl each time using salmon, mango, their siracha aioli and house sauce, spicy crab, avocado, and seaweed salad. Everything was vey fresh. I also tried their açaí antioxidant smoothie (pictured) and their tropical sunrise smoothie, which were both very good. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re new to poke.”

“A new restaurant in Wilmington and a great place to eat. The staff was very friendly, the service was great and the food was fabulous. If you're craving authentic Italian this is your place. Give it a try, we are planning on making this one of our regular dining spots!”

“Great space and good vibes. They don't serve food, but they regularly have food trucks. You can also order delivery. Super surprise bonus is the slushy machine, which had Summerland watermelon gose flowing. Yummy and so refreshing! Also, I had a tasty flight: Vimana, Citra Sightings, Whomst with Coconut, and Boat Soda. Definitely coming back!”

“This gas station looks new but the NO button at pump 3 is so worn that it doesn't work. I had to use the NO on the keypad.”

“The sub was delicious but I think they need to update their description for when they tell the customers what is all on the sub. I ordered a Chipotle cheesesteak and their was mushrooms on it. I absolutely hate mushrooms. That was the only thing not mentioned in the description. Otherwise I would've taken it off. Not a big deal but the sub was good after I picked all the mushrooms out. Also, the Chipotle steak and cheese fries were ok. It's missing something but it's also a bit dry. Maybe some sauce would do some good or more sauce if there was any on it. Other than that, I would eat from here again. The door dasher was awesome! Great communication and a great sense of humor.”

“I recently had the fortune of dining at the fabulous restaurant, "Fortunate Glass", and let me tell you, the name speaks volumes about the experience I had there. The food was nothing short of extraordinary! Every dish was a work of art, both in presentation and taste. The flavors danced on my taste buds like a ballerina on stage. The service was impeccable, with the waitstaff being both prompt and polite. They knew the menu inside out and were able to recommend the perfect dish to suit my cravings. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, they brought out a complimentary dessert that was so good, I'm pretty sure I heard angels singing. In conclusion, if you're looking for a five-star dining experience that will leave you feeling like royalty, then look no further than "Fortunate Glass". I'll be back for seconds, and thirds, and maybe even fourths!”

“Trendy German restaurant in downtown Wilmington has a great atmosphere; music wasn’t too loud so you could hear eachother talk, place was clean (including bathrooms) and it wasn’t overcrowded. The service was super and the wait time for food on a Saturday evening was very decent. The food was unique and tasted great! They have vegetarian options too that were full of good flavors. The prices were really decent too so you could actually get dinner and a dessert! I would absolutely go here again.”

“Absolutely amazing! I never knew a juice made from different fruits could be so GOOD!! Its literally the best juice in the Port City! I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE everyone to stop by and give it a try! The owner of this amazing business has a passion of wanting to make sure that everyone he comes in contact with, doesn't walk out the same way they walked in. He's going to make sure he informs you to the best of his ability and give you knowledge and wisdom on your health. FYI: My favorite is the Beet Juice:) ask him about it!!”

“Not sure if it's because it's Friday night, but this place is really cool. Cozy little place. Live music, fire going outside near the food truck (it's January!), little bar inside with variety of draft beer, wine by the glass. Coolers full of craft beer 6 packs to go. Huge variety of great wine by the bottle which you can open to drink on premise and/or take with you, all very reasonably priced. This is perfect for couples or small groups who want a more quiet place but not boring. Good vibe here.”

“If you can get past the long wait times there is an appetizing experience to be had here. Upon diving into the beautifully displayed plate my tongue was pleased with the juiciness of the chicken and then the delicious red pepper sauce. The French toast paired nicely with the crispiness of the chicken. Everything was seasoned well, not overly salty and the tomatoes were able to shine through on their own without being overly doused in flavors to take away from the natural essence of the tomato. I guess you could say I really enjoyed my meal and will absolutely be back.”

“Stopped in today. Had a wonderful breakfast of chilaquiles! Full of flavor! Loved the salsa verde! My friend ordered huevos rancheros and raved about the salsa. Very generous portions so come hungry!! Very attentive service, clean, brightly decorated! Can’t wait to return to sample lunch!”

“This was a surprising hidden gem in Downtown Wilmington. The ambiance is welcoming as is the staff. We were greeted by our server Christian and the bartender upon entering. The restaurant has a casual feel and is a relaxing environment with a sense of humor as there is a large portrait of the Dos Equis "The most interesting man in the world" behind the bar. The tables, floor, and restroom were all cleaned very well with no visible trash, crumbs, or other debris noted. We ordered the Garlic Parmagan fries and two Smash burgers. The fries were perfectly cooked with no excess oil and were seasoned well. The burgers were amazing! First, the burgers are at a price point lower than other restaurants in the area, only $10. Second, they are the BEST burgers I have gotten in Wilmington flavor-wise. I highly recommend this business. I will most definitely return.”

“It was a Sunny Saturday Morning, we wanted a quick breakfast and heard this place has some of the best biscuits in NC. We were not disappointed. Upon entry I felt like I was going to a bluestone sandwich shop. Nice beach yacht theme with a small set up. We ordered the friend chicken biscuits and some gravy. After ordering we were provided with some free mini biscuits filled with chocolate (amazing). They had some cool mugs, shirts, apron, bags for sale as well. There is not much space inside to eat just a few standing rails. Outside the beverage place next door has some seating, not sure if it’s normally allows to customers from southerly to eat there, but did it as nothing else was open. Good spot.”

“Beautiful place! I wanted to try something different for breakfast and I found this place through google map. I ordered Avocado toast and it was phenomenal (maybe this is the biggest avocado toast have ever seen). Very well seasoned and the crunch, just made the experience worth it. I got also a latte which was okay. The service was good (especially the cashier, she was very very nice and she recommended the avocado). I will be back again for sure.”

“Delicious and so fresh! We are so lucky to have this plant-based option in town. You can tell the chefs are talented and truly love making food. We have tried vegan donuts all over the country and have always been disappointed, but these donuts did not disappoint! Best vegan donuts and biscuits we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back for more.”

“Not your typical Mexican spot, a different spin on Mexican food. Mexican flavor+seafood is an absolute must try! Had the grilled Red Snapper and reminds me of being in Nayarit, Mexico (No one does traditional Mexican seafood better than Nayarit). Great food, atmosphere, and service! Try it, you won’t regret it!”

“At first glance the Vicious Biscuit looks imposing. I ordered the restaurants namesake, "The Vicious." I would probably give this chicken biscuit with gravy 5 stars on initial flavor. The 4 oz. chicken breast however isn't all that filling. The biscuit itself was good, but not great. It looks initially dense, but is so light that it isn't very filling. The weakest part was the gravy. For the price $13 you expect something phenomenal. Ambience was nice, the butter and jelly bar was a nice touch. I'm almost certain this will not be one of my frequent greasy spoons.”

“Went here today for lunch with my mum. It was our first time in Wilmington. Very nice little place! Food was delicious and very hot/fresh. Ashleigh, our server, was super sweet and lovely. Would definitely go here again.”
