I've had several things off the menu, and was surprised how good they were (usually a really big menu is a red flag but they seem to pull it off). Definitely worth a try, it's cheap food, not a super upscale place, but the food is higher quality and better prepared than the price suggests.”

“I stopped here for the first time recently, and I was extremely impressed. The atmosphere was cute, clean and modern, and the menu had many appealing options. I chose the avocado toast and the breakfast smoothie, and both were absolutely delicious. On top of that Collin who took care of me couldn't have been friendlier, and it was sincere which is rare in the service industry. I would like to make a suggestion to the owner to update the patio, as its condition almost deterred me from going inside and doesn't match the beautiful calm interior. I know times are rough, but even a fresh coat of paint on your railing would make a big difference. I plan on becoming a regular here and would like this spot to stick around. “This was first time here and I was extremely disappointed. Service was not great and food was mediocre. My friend and I sat at bar and bartender was not engaging at all. Never asked if we wanted another drink. We had to ask several times for water and I asked for second glass of wine. Our food came out 10-15 minutes apart and excuse was we ordered separately. She had no idea if we were one check or two. The asparagus was tough and overcooked and chicken piccata was greasy. It was like pulling teeth to get her attention. I doubt I’ll go back to this location.”

“I was lead into Hanks by my nose tonight and it did not steer me wrong. I was popping into a nearby business when I smelled what I can only describe as Meat Heaven. So I popped in to grab dinner for my hubs and I. The fella working the bar was so great in walking me through the menu. He even helped me pick out which sauces to pair up. We split the 3 meat taster platter. We had the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. All tender, juicy and flavorful. We got the corn spoon bread and the broccoli salad and both were excellent. The corn spoon bread was exceptionally delicious. We also got the hot honey chicken app that was also a delight. I live about ten minutes away and everything was hot and travelled well. I will definitely be back. I also loved that their travel containers were all biodegradable and he made sure ask me if I needed cutlery instead of throwing and ton in automatically. I really appreciated the thought there.”

“Decided to check out a new Food Truck today. It’s called J.Meatball. The owner/chef is Jeff. He has been in business for only a month. Has a number of sandwiches on the menu but when you have Meatball in your name, guess what, you have to have the namesake sandwich. The sandwich comes on an Auddino sub bun. He loads it up with 4 all beef meatballs, fried onions, sauce and tops it with mozzarella cheese. He also has a special sauce to add to it, pure deliciousness. Okay I had been to Villa Nova this last weekend and these actually rival theirs. They also have snacks and sodas. And who carries Faygo soda on a Food Truck??? He does!!! All I can say is everyone needs to check this truck out, you definitely won’t be disappointed. *****Update on the sauce. It is a mayonnaise lemon juice, fresh herbs, water champagne and a special leaf from the mint family. You’ll have to taste it to figure it out. Updated on his qualifications, Graduate of CSCC. “Stopped in today, my son and I couldn’t make up our minds so we got one of every mini biscuit they had with a couple cinnamon rolls. Hard to say which was our favorite, but the biggest surprise for me was the peach biscuit. Do not skip the cinnamon rolls, they are incredible! I wish I had bought more to go.”

“Been trying to catch this Food Truck ( Good and Tasty) in my area and have never been able to. So today it was go to them time. Ordered the Brisket Sandwich with sauce on it. Also got the Baked Beans, Mac and cheese, Greens and Green Beans. The Brisket was so moist and the sauce had a nice sweetness to it. Plenty of meat on the sandwich. The Baked Beans were definitely homemade with tiny navy beans, chopped onions, chopped banana peppers, pieces of pork and a nice thick sauce. Super tasty. The greens were made with pieces of turkey in the greens and I believe they may have a slight bit of sugar, they were super flavorful. The Green Beans were great, had little pieces of turkey in them also, a touch of sweetness also, they were definitely to die for. Finally the Mac and cheese, definitely baked with an old fashioned recipe. So creamy with a ton of cheese. I would say that it's somebody's mother's recipe. This was definitely one trip that was worth the short travel to it. Meeting Lugene Simmons the owner was definitely a pleasure. He is definitely a great person. He is working towards being able to open a brick and mortar business. Also being a Veteran makes all the difference in the world. So take time and check this place out, you will not regret it.”
