“6:30 at night on a Saturday and they were out of regular fried chicken. The place was empty. We asked for a 16 piece fill up basket meal. They did not have enough chicken. It was going to take over 11 more minutes. We wanted it to go. I finally asked if they could fill the basket with both regular and crispy, they did and we were on our way. The chicken was typical KFC. Over priced $42.99 meal. Bad service. Lots of honey for the biscuits.”

“Great lunch! Amazing atmosphere very cozy and romantic, with a fireplace and large windows to take in the view while you eat. Great service. Fish tacos were amazing and must try desserts too! Good drinks too. Affordable yet a more upscale feel. Love this place will be back! *Edit* I can't wait to come back to Bridgewater! I've added a photo of their muffins we had on our first trip to Astoria as a side with our breakfast on a Sunday. Our first time here there was a man on the piano playing, many people, had a very special family feel. I enjoyed that very much. But the lemon curd with the muffins.. Omg i can't wait to get more!”

“They were very understanding about my dietary needs and the waitress even went to the back and asked the cooks about the seasonings used in the fajitas when I was concerned it might have sugar in it. Very helpful! The rice and bean servings were a little small and I had to eat both mine and my husband's in order to get 4 oz rice and 6 oz beans. However, the salad was huge, as requested! Surprisingly, it wasn't too expensive. I recommend!”

“Excellent food! Had dinner with a group of friends. We sat in the lounge and Michelle was fantastic! She gave us exactly enough time to decide, service was prompt, accurate and friendly. I would highly recommend sitting in the lounge. ???????? Michelle! You're awesome!”

“This is the quintessential mom n pop, super laid back, bright and roomy cafe. Perfect! Breakfast all day and you coffee cup is truly bottomless! If your rolling through Astoria, it’s a great place to stop. Great staff, Swedish pancakes, good coffee. It’s so good, they have several locations spread around the northwest Oregon area!”

“Wonderful coffee and some of it is organic. It taste like only fresh roast coffee does cause they roast it right there. Nice variety of food with lots of vegetarian items. Comfortable couches and a rocking chair as well as table and chairs. Very airy warm feeling place with friendly staff. The sale shirts sweatshirts, mugs, small filter and press forms of coffee makers. I got some burlap bags I plan to use to protect my outdoor plants. It will be one of my regular spots.”

“Healthy eating? I think not! Come here for fresh comfort food and best of all, their blizzards! My favorite, the New York cheesecake blizzard. You also can't go wrong with the ice cream cakes for special occasions. The people are polite and the wait is worth it.”

“Busy AF when I went, but still... my wait for fresh chicken was reasonable, the lady's working were pleasant and had good customer service even though you could tell they were stressed and rushing to complete orders. And my chicken was still properly cooked, not half-arse fried or soggy. I was just passing through, but I wish the 3 KFC's nearest my home in Portland were half as good when they aren't slammed busy.”

“What an amazing experience to spend a Friday night at the Portway!! Charming 'dive' with interesting history, great food, and friendly locals! Cindi, the karaoke host, was a true professional and put on THE BEST karaoke show we have ever seen! A truly fun professional who made it welcoming for all! A must for anyone looking for an awesome bar experience in Astoria!”

“Very friendly server. But wanted to order the hot pastrami and they don't offer pastrami. So I ordered the roasted chicken, it was delicious!”

“Big, clean rooms. They welcome pets, but charge extra. Also, they didn't note that we were bringing pets when we mentioned it when we made the reservations and had to tell them again when we checked in. Luckily, they weren't that booked and we got a ground floor room, because lugging all our luggage, kennels and the pets up to the 2nd or 3rd floor would have sucked. But it all worked out this time. The hotel is a bit dated and could use some freshening up. Some new paint and such could go a long way to make this a 5 star hotel.”

“One of the nicest families to ever run a business. We have watched this place evolve into one of the finest Mexican restaurants in the area. Fresh, quality ingredients prepared with attention to detail and flavour. Unique menu items that are nothing like the Tex-Mex offerings of most Americanized eateries. Great margaritas as well.”

“Very nice business owners. The staff is really fun and the food is great! Perfect rest stop if you just want to watch the zippers or relax with an afternoon beer or soda! The main building is just as gorgeous as the surrounding forest, and folks are always made to feel welcome!”

“Me and my friends got threatened and stalked by the employee because we didn’t know that soda wasn’t free and she had another person with her so therefore we don’t want to go back there again because we felt threatened . And the employee threatened to call the police on 12and 13 year olds and accused for stealing even tho there was no water spout where the sodas are so we couldn’t get water. Even tho we had to wait an hour for food I’ll give them credit for good food.and good hygiene.”

“I’d like to say I was surprised. In seaside visiting from Texas. I expected the norm from what I’m use to back home. Soggy pizza over or under cooked. Waiting 45 minutes etc etc... But no. The pizza is perfect I mean it’s not gourmet but it’s the best dominos pizza I’ve eaten. That says a lot guys. Not only did it show up hot and perfectly cooked but with napkins and plates. This would never happen back home. You guys really surprised me.”

“Decided to give this place a try after seeing all the good reviews. Every one of those good reviews is spot on! The thinish crust is AMAZING, the ratio of topping to crust PERFECT. Hawaiian pizza is my favorite...and this is the best one I've had. Ever. My new happy place...eating this pizza while overlooking the ocean at the cove. ❤”

“Excellent Oysters! They were so good, I asked for another order! The atmosphere was friendly and the staff was accommodating. Their burger was also on par with the oysters. Everything was fresh and well prepared. I really appreciate that the burger was handmade with real cheddar melted on it. The veggies on the burger were all great and super fresh!”

“A Seaside Gem. It was our first time eating here, and we were very impressed. Food and wine is reasonably priced and very good. Excellent and friendly service in a homey, comfortable environment. The only thing I would improve on is the salad, which was small and bland. Overall, an excellent experience eating here.”

“The course may be old, but it is in great shape. The greens played very good, and the fairways were nice and manicured. I love the open style (trees gone), my only concern was a few holes the fairways were close and made it a bit dangerous for incoming golf balls. Otherwise, loved it! Very walk-able and really a nice course. Good job!”

“This an amazing drive thru restaurant. The tuna is freaking delicious and meaty! Its always fresh and filling. The Large plate is enough for two while the small will fill up an average person. There's a nice outdoor seating area if you want to pullover and eat at the location. I highly recommend this place. Support local businesses!”

“Great family owned business. Comfort food that is good and flavourful. Friendly service. Decent prices. Breakfast and lunch only. Can get busy on weekends during tourist invasions. Leave your entitled Portland / Seattle sobbery at home and chill. Good food takes time and this is a small kitchen.”

“I've lived in the Pacific northwest all my life and have seen a food service and food quality go down steadily. When my husband and I went to Grandma's Corner we felt at home. Service was friendly like family and very welcoming. We both ordered a prime rib, swiss and mushroom omelet. Joe had hashbrowns and toast, I had biscuits and gravy. This is truly the food momma made. This is heaven.”

“The portion, fresh and abundant ingredients, and flavor of the Country Club Sandwich made it amazing. The homemade bread took it to the next level. The chef salad was nothing special, so go for the sandwich! The restaurant is a little local gem tucked away out of view of the main road. No frills ambiance.”
