“Nice cozy atmosphere. The brew is spectacular and they have a full bar that makes out outstanding drinks. I really liked our server and the food. They dont have a deep fryer but who needs that when all the options are so good?”

“Awesome!!! We came here for Christmas (12/25-12/28/2019) and stayed in one of the beach front rooms. Our stay was worth every penny!! The staff saw to our every need. The room was amazing but to step outside and look upon the glorious Haystack Rock, priceless! We had some of the locals visit (seagulls, crows and an black bunny). Christmas dinner was stellar and the breakfast buffet (which we brought back to the room) was delicious on both mornings! Seriously good food, fresh fruit aplenty! The lobby always had baked goodies (scones, muffins, cookies) in addition to coffee, tea, and fruity infused water!! Definitely a splurge for us but we enjoyed every part of our stay! Thank you Stephanie Inn!”

“What a fantastic brewery! From the moment you walk in they greet you with a cheery disposition and a warm welcome. Next up is the walk to your table/booth where they tell you about the gorgeous hand drawn mural on the wall. Once at my table, the bartender came over, greeted us and started offering recommendations after hearing about what we liked. He brought out numerous tasters to make sure we found something we would like (Highly recommend to try the beer "Short days, long nights") before ordering a pint. The food was delectable and incredibly tasty and man oh man the fries were so tasty (they are beer battered and freshly cooked)! The atmosphere is incredibly laid back and friendly and the building has a nice warm feel to it, which is perfect for enjoying a drink and relaxing. Highly recommend making a visit here if you want a good beer and some tasty food.”

“I have dined here twice. The ocean view can not be beat. The first time I had a burger. I ordered it medium well and it was perfectly executed. Today I had the Halibut Fish and Chips.... SO good! The best I have had in many years. The fish was fresh and the beer batter was delicious. The service is terrific as well. From the gentleman who filled our water glasses to our waiter, could not ask for more attentive and friendly service. I have been there during the "off" season, I am sure if you are wanting to dine during "peak" season you would be well served to make a reservation. I have not been in the bar yet but it looks very inviting: warm fire, leather seating.... I will say that I have enjoyed their Irish Coffee on both visits!”

“Fantastic. If I could give it more stars, I would. The food is excellent - flavorful and perfectly cooked. The most tender chicken I think I've ever had. The staff is friendly, has great suggestions, and was the perfect amount of present - my water glass never reached fully empty, yet it felt like I was able to have a private conversation. The wild mushroom Sheppard's pie is something I would have again.”

“This is one of the best meals I have ever had. My wife has been begging me to go for years. I often said no, but finally I said yes, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Though the setting is small and outdated, it actually brings a charm to the dining experience. The service is incredibly friendly and personal. Though it was a busy night, my wife and I felt didn’t feel neglected. It was as if we were the only customers in that night. The food was absolutely incredible. I have eaten “fine dining” and paid the price for it. This is indeed fine dining, and worth every bit of it. Expect to take a hit on the wallet, but expect to have one of the most amazing dining experiences you can have. I have lived in Cannon Beach for almost 8 years. Tried a lot of the local cuisine. Newmans at 988 is by far the best food and dining experience I have had in Cannon Beach! Thank you for the wonderful experience!”

“We stopped for brunch. Place was cute and beautiful. Staff were friendly too, served hot mocha on arrival. Food was good and didn't take long to be served. Pancakes was soooo good, can't be missed. They were so soft and really yummy. Set of buttermilk pancakes gets you 6 pancakes, so be aware of it. Omelette was good too, especially the toast on the side.”

“We had a truly great dinner here. We each had a dish of chicken breast smothered in a cheesy sauce with mushrooms & bacon & almonds. The rice was served as heart shaped - a cute connection to the restaurant name. We wanted dessert but were too full. We had an early dinner on Presidents’ Day & restaurant was quiet but with a steady flow of customers. The attractive & dimmed lighting along with the quiet, easy listening music created an air of intimate dining in an open table - no booths- restaurant. It’s a really nice place for dinner and a welcome change from the other good Cannon Beach restaurants usual fare offerings of fish, steak & more fish! We’ll definitely come back to Mi Corazon.”

“Such a great brunch spot! The service was amazing, it’s super cozy, and we felt so welcomed! LOVED our food! It came out fast and was one of the best brunches I’ve had in awhile! We had the special - gingerbread waffles with lemon sauce and pears, plus yogurt. It was incredible. We also had their vegetarian Benedict and we loved it. The hollandaise was light and delicious, not too heavy. Would highly recommend!!”

“Oh how I hate giving three stars. The staff were nice, but lacking personality. The chicken fettuccine was warm, but not hot. The salad bar was good, but not great. The chowder was really good and the perfect temperature. Not a bad place, but it fell short in a lot of areas.”

“Visiting Cannon Beach, craving fish and chips. Bill's did not disappoint. Light batter, not oily, meaty halibut chips. Tasty adult beverages to wash it down. Very kind and attentive wait staff. Great place. We were able to see AFC wild card game”

“Back again for another Friday afternoon at the Smokehouse! Great staff, great drinks, great fries. This is our favorite afternoon spot. Small seating, but worth the wait if you can get a seat! Good selection of draft beers and liquors! Cannon Beach!”

“The wings are really good. Much better than fire on the mountain. The chowder is also good and much cheaper than Seattle. Fries were a bit on the light side but could be intentional. Fish and chips was just okay. Service is excellent.”

“I ordered the Greek pizza and it was amazing! The crust is crunchy on the outside and chewy inside. Toppings are very fresh. So yummy! I ordered it to go and it took about 20 minutes- very reasonable. Yes, a little pricey, but totally worth it to me. Highly recommend!”

“So delicious! As a gluten free person it was so nice to have a choice for breakfast with the amazing ingredients and flavors it is a must have! My son and husband also enjoyed the regular crepes. To quote my son on his first crepe experience " if you don't enjoy these crepes, you don't enjoy life!!"”

“Best Cioppini I've ever had was loaded with seafood and great flavor! Huge atmosphere we sat by the fireplace and the huge logs inside were the largest I've seen in a log cabin! Thumbs up!”

“Great little fish and chips shop. Not a ton of seating but that never seemed to be an issue. The clam chowder looked amazing though we didn't try any. The cod was crispy and moist inside with a nice flavor. I'd say 4.25 starts and a worthy place for lunch.”

“We came to Canon Beach to celebrate our first year being in business. Our staff and their spouses made for a group of 16. It was difficult to find a place to host a group our size and pizza wasn't our first choice. After talking to the owner James, I quicky heard his pride in his business and we gave it a shot. We're so thankful, the event room was very nicely put together and the food was amazing. Our staff enjoyed it so much they're asking to do it again next year. Thank you James for a wonderful experience!”

“We Highly recommend! Smallish/Casual Restaraunt with a Big menu! Market has ALL kinds of Fresh or Smoked fish. We ate there & ordered, shredded Crab, Breaded Jumbo Prawns, Bucket Clams. Was the BEST & Freshest Seafood we've had! I tried a local beer, by Buoy, it was tasty!”

“Soup & sandwich combo was perfect on a rainy afternoon. Chicken Tortilla soup was some of the best I've had - wish I'd ordered a bowl instead of a cup! And friendly service. All tucked away in a cute little cafe in the middle of the block.”

“Delicious food and amazing staff! I felt like family as soon as I walked in the door. Dom our server was charming, warm, and friendly. The appetizer of crab cakes were the best I've ever had, simply exquisite. I had the linguine which was melt in your mouth decadence. Highly recommend. I'll be back for sure.”

“Unfortunately we had eaten a late lunch so we didn’t have room for a big dinner. There was a bit of a wait for a table but the live music by Maggie and the Cats was terrific and we didn’t mind waiting. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer. They are served on beets and sprinkled with feta and a drizzle of balsamic. They were delicious. Then we had the crab cakes which were flavorful and good sized. They had just the right amount of breading and a flavorful sauce. Even though the place was packed the service was excellent and they didn’t rush you. Over all it was one of the most enjoyable evenings of music and dinner I’ve had in a long time.”

“All I have to say is they have the best fish tacos I have ever had. Wash it down with an IPA. Talk about a perfect situation. You have to go to the bar to order but that works great because you don't have to wait for a server to come by. Food comes out fast. So good.”

“In a refined, yet casual, atmosphere Castaways does not disappoint. Comprised of mixed greens and accompanied by candied walnuts, goat cheese and currants, the Tiki salad was the perfect starter. Perfectly seared, fresh ahi tuna was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Prawns, tender and sweet, were delicious. You can choose from an imaginative list of well-crafted cocktails, wines by the bottle and by the glass and a small list of bottled beers to complement your meal. One drawback: no beers on tap. All the staff, from the bus people to the chef, were warm and friendly. Tip: This is a great restaurant, and people know it. If you want to be sure to get in, make a reservation. If you don't make a reservation, don't complain; you were warned. Wow!! Castaways is arguably the best food in Cannon Beach.”

“Nice little neighborhood bar. Beer was cold, and the clam chowder was great. Service was top notch. Had the halibut and fry basket, and the wife had the fried oysters and fries. Both meals were perfect, and the fries were hot and fresh.”

“My wife and I went on a local recommendation and were not disappointed! The atmosphere is that of any small town diner/restaurant but the food and service were A+. We both were highly satisfied with our food and the portions were big enough that we were both able to make a second meal with them. The prices were some of the best we've encountered in the community. Although we went for dinner, the breakfast menu is extremely appealing and we shall both be back to sample that as well. Good job to the staff!”
