“The best dessert spot in Pittsburgh comes together with the best pizza shop in the city to make an awesome combo! We all really enjoyed the waffles and crepes, I was happy with the cook, amount of toppings and chocolate, etc. I highly recommend stopping in!”

“This Bruster's is far better than any other ice cream shop in the area. It was "Every Given Sunday" but after Covid, they closed permanently. This place has excellent mango sorbet and Chocolate ice cream shakes and pint size. Friendly. Helpful and the ice cream tops every place I've been too. Cool Cones is awful and can't compare!”

“I loved my visit! Delish coffee and unique flavors of donuts. A relaxing atmosphere with comfy chairs. The place is clean and aesthetically pleasing. After your coffee fix you can walk around to find locally made arts and crafts.”

“Small independent bagel and coffee shop that has potential but it was a little confusing for my first visit as there is no menu board posted but just a paper menu by the counter. I would have probably ordered a sandwich but just settled on a cheddar bagel with smear. The order was prepared behind the wall and out of sight which seemed a bit odd for the flow of the operations. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and the bagel was good. I'll probably return again in the future but I will need to look at a paper menu before placing another order.”

“I recently got the white raspberry truffle cake from here for my birthday, and oh my goodness! It was truly amazing. We chose this place on a whim because we didn't plan ahead to order a cake from one of our usual bakeries, but I'm so happy we ended up ordering from here because it was literally one of the best cakes I've ever had. Perfectly sweetness level (not overly sweet, which is a big pet peeve), the cake texture was insanely fluffy and moist and delicious, and the flavors were so perfect together. The cake was gorgeous too. This is my new go to bakery and we will be ordering from here a lot!! HIGHLY recommend!”

“Cozy spot for a decent cup of coffee. I was really impressed with the comfort and the seating. It was a perfect spot to have a good conversation with a friend. The yogurt bar was also a nice plus. Although rather expensive, $8 for a yogurt bowl, you could pick any toppings you want, and all toppings were fresh. If I lived in the area, I would likely frequent more often, most likely do work there with the comfort and the ample space.”

“Birthday cake, cake batter, black raspberry chocolate truffle, mint Oreo, cotton candy explosion, white turtle, caramel twix. Apparently the flavors change daily but there's quite a few staple flavors always in stock! We LOVE Bruster's!”

“I came here while traveling and wanting something sweet and boy did get what I came for. I got a Chocolate waffle cone and it was 100% amazing definitely recommend if you like chocolate. The customer service was great and we were served relatively quickly. It’s great if you’re just looking for some ice cream on a hot day!”

“This place has some truly delicious ice cream! I am nearly never in the area. But, I'm sure this place is a classic for the Baldwin/Brentwood/Whitehall community. The vibe it gives is like one of those old school ice cream shops. Local, family owned, and amazing. I tried the peanut butter milkshake. Super simple, but very good. The number one greatest thing about this place is probably the value. You get a ginormous shake for under $5. And, it was far larger than I have tried in nearly any other place. This sort of value is just incredible. The flavor is also quite good. I thought it was a little vanilla-y for a peanut butter shake, but still great. You can taste it's homemade, not just Hershey's or some other brand. They also have numerous other standard flavor (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and more). They even have frozen yogurt, no sugar added flavors, sundaes, and more. I'll have to try out some of the more unique flavors sometime; my review would probably be 5 stars by the time I do that. They do close early though (but they are also open year round. Yes, even in the winter). Would love to come back.”

“My pup loved her pup cup, it was made extra special with some PB! I worked for Bruster’s for 3 years and it brought back happy memories! I will say the milkshakes were a little inconsistent but it happens sometimes; the flavor was still excellent, the service was fast and nice! Thank you guys!”

“So this place can be great, but it's hit or miss. Lately, there seems to be missing ingredients (for example, I ordered pints of Graham Central Station a couple times and there was absolutely none of the graham cracker swirl, which is my favorite part). Also, the portions are sometimes ridiculously small and they're not consistent. I can get 4 scoops of ice cream one day, and it almost fills up a pint container. The next time I ask for 4 scoops, I get a small little container that looks like a child's size and can't be more than 2 scoops. The ice cream is good when it's made with the advertised ingredients, and when you get the expected amount. It's tough to spend $15 on ice cream for 2 people to walk away feeling ripped off, though. (For what it's worth, I've noticed that a woman who I believe is the owner seems to be the one who always gives us the REALLY small portions. She's nice, but I hate when she waits on us because I know I'll walk away annoyed.)”

“This place was definitely worth the drive! There's an abundance of parking. The store had a cute & warm welcoming decor. You immediately smell the delicious aroma as you enter into the bakery! There were lots of sweet treats to look at while I waited for my turn to order. Staff was very friendly and appreciate the business. Prices were clearly posted and very reasonable for the freshness and quality of the treats. The best part was how tasty the donuts were! I will definitely be a returning customer!”

“Bruster's has been my favorite ice cream since I was a kid, and this location is one of the reasons. Perfectly located for an evening treat after sports or enjoying North Park, plenty of parking and seating. Staff are super friendly, and even though there were long lines not long before closing, they got through us all in great shape. And the ice cream, of course, is the best; my favorites are chocolate raspberry truffle and the rare butterscotch ripple.”

“BEAUTIFUL little bakery in the heart of the shops on Beverly in mount Lebanon ! We went for churros and weren’t disappointed— we were even pleasantly surprised to find out that they have delicious cream in the center! The owners were super sweet and helpful, and they offer such a wide variety of delicious pastries! 10 stars for sure!”

“Ever since Gyro & Bakery opened, we've been coming back for more! The food is of the highest quality, fresh, juicy, flavorful and yummy, no matter how you slice it. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, ambience is cozy and relaxing, staff are nice and always try to make sure you're happy and satisfied. The place is very clean and attractively decorated. The owner likes to personally greet the patrons, talk to them, listen to their stories, and welcome them to his restaurant. Did I mention the food is absolutely delicious? Freshly baked pastries, hot pita bread, simple but very delicious salads and appetizers are just a foreplay before the main course, which comes in a wide variety of mouthwatering lamb, beef, chicken or vegetarian gyros, sandwiches, wraps or kebabs. The portions are on the generous side, so come hungry and indulge yourself! They keep expanding their menu and have recently added an absolutely irresistible line of desserts. You can eat in or take out, or do both!”

“I've been visiting this store a few times per week for the last 4 years. They usually have what I need, whether it's prepared food, TV dinners, cocktail mixers, OTC meds or breakfast essentials. If it's not in stock they finish up with their customers and look in the back. Clean unless their is a rush.”
