“This place was perfect!!! The food was absolutely amazing. Everything everyone got at the table was so good everyone was so happy with what they got. The service was extremely good. It honestly was the best service I have ever gotten! Also free Ice Cream at the end I mean it doesn't get much better. I recommend to anyone!”

“Above and beyond service! Our server was so helpful. My niece and I both have some dietary restrictions. Our server was super helpful and when I ordered a dish that I didn't realize was prepared a different way than I normally see it and came with some issues with my dietary restrictions, he immediately replaced it with something else with no charge. The pizza is delicious and some of the best I've ever had in my life. Definitely check this place out!”

“This is authentic Mexican food with the owners being a family from Mexico. The taco shells are unlike anything I have ever had. They are homemade and are amazing. The beef is amazing also. We also had enchiladas with chicken and it was superb. The black beans and rice are homemade and are incredibly tasty. The price is very reasonable. You can get two items like a taco and enchilada, plus your choice of beans and rice for $7.50. It is not fancy. The food comes on a paper plate, but they have a salsa bar and the food is top-notch. We have been three times and highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for something fast and affordable.”

“We are frequent visitors to Hilton Head and always eat at the same restaurants. I kept hearing awesome reviews of The Sea Shack and we decided to try out last week. We went for lunch and only had to wait in line outside may be 5 minutes. There's only a handful of tables inside but thankfully we were able to grab a table as several were available. My husband ordered the fish-and-chips and the portion was huge, the batter had a delicious flavor and the fish was very fresh tasting. My oldest son got the fried shrimp basket and had a huge portion as well (14!) and he said they were also delicious. My youngest got a hot dog and well, a hot dog is pretty much a hot dog! I'm not a seafood eater so I got a cheeseburger and it was huge, fresh and delicious! I love the variety of side item (salad, fries, cheese grits, collared greens,, glazed carrots, coleslaw, etc). And if you like sweet tea then you must try it here! It is for sure the best southern sweet tea on the island! The Sea Shack is a hidden gem and we will for sure be back!”

“Delicious food and good service! I got the spicy fish tacos which weren’t too spicy and very flavorful. We ordered the Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries fro the table and both were delicious. The sweet potato fries were crispy and perfectly salted. The Brussels sprouts were a little dry but everything with bacon is good. For dessert I got the famous ice cream sandwich which was amazing! The saltiness of the cookie pairs beautifully with the creaminess of the ice cream. Most definitely could be split in half and shared but also it is possible to eat the whole thing by yourself.”

“Gena was our waitress and she was outstanding and had a very outgoing personality. The food was the best Italian I've ever had and if you go between 5 and 5:45 you can get the early bird special which is 3 course meal for under 20. which keep in mind many of the entrees include in that deal are over 20 on their own. The only complaint I have is that I'm on vacation and would love if it wasn't 14 hours from where I live.”

“All the food was top notch and tasted fresh! The eggplant jambalaya was amazing! The shrimp that was served as a part of the paella was cooked to perfection and the flavor was out of this world! The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was the best I've had. For dessert I had the blueberry crumb cake a la mode and it was without a doubt the best dessert I've had in the last year. I may go back in 2 days and try something different, or order the exact same.....”

“First, let me just say that the food and drinks were great. That's the main thing when going out to eat, right? So don't let my review slow you down from trying out the place. It's good food... Just don't go here with intentions of being somewhat quick. The wait time wasn't all that long, but the time from sitting down to getting our drinks was quite extended. Same for getting our food. Maybe it was a fluke... Who knows.”

“Wow! This is a must if visiting the island. The atmosphere, food and service were all amazing. The coffee was delicious! And the menu makes it hard to decide since there are so many tasty options. I ordered the Cuban with corn chips and cheese dip!!”

“I'd eat here every day if I could. You can't find better food, nicer staff, or a better overall experience. This place isn't just about food tasting better; it's about food that makes you truly feel better. More than just a restaurant - Al's is a genuine service to the community.”

“Excellent!!! I cannot rave enough about how great the food is here! Authentic Mexican dining at extremely reasonable prices! Portions and quality extraordinary! Probably the best Nachos we’ve ever had —My family and I are we’re there twice while vacationing in HHI — can’t wait to come back!”

“This was a great, open-late bar that surpassed our expectation. The bartender and kitchen staff were friendly, approachable and made for great conversation. We went here after The Lucky Rooster left us hungry and overcharged us. My fiance got a fried grouper sandwich and this thing was not only delicious, savory with a hint of sweetness, but huge too! I got the pulled pork which was standard but great value. The drinks were splendid and the whole time was very enjoyable. Thanks everyone!”

“Decided to treat myself to a nice solo dinner and was delighted to stumble upon this place. The food was excellent!! Atmosphere was great and I loved the chefs table that was also visible from the bar. When I called to see if there were seats available I was told I’d have a seat saved for me. I wasn’t expecting that type of extended service being I’m not from the area and have never been to Sage Room before but Jason and the entire staff were friendly and inviting. I will definitely be back every time I’m in town!”

“A very popular breakfast joint. The wait was very short and absolutely worth it! Wait staff were friendly and prompt, coffee was very good and the meals were delicious! There isn't much exaggeration when they claim they have the best pancakes ever - the banana pancakes were superb. Very reasonably priced as well. Lived up to the hype!”

“I sat at the bar and Laura, the bartender, was great. She brought a smile and offered a beverage and menu. I got the wings: Atomic Meltdown and Red Dragon. The Atomic were very tasty and not too spicy- hot but flavorful buffalo style. The Red Dragon were a nice teriyaki with medium heat. They arrived promptly and were extra extra crispy like I ordered. Extra crispy would have been fine but after some of the reviews I saw, I didn't want to take a chance. I am a chicken wing aficionado and I am very happy I came here despite the negative reviews. The live music was very good too. I also like that they list the calorie count of the different sauces which you don't see very often. I'm impressed and I will be back.”

“We walked in and the place wreaked of roasted garlic... we knew we came to the right spot. We ended up with a meat lovers pizza and the quality of the ingredients is what stood out the most. Perfect crispy crust. Great service! You won’t be disappointed!”

“Great breakfast spot. The servers were very kind and it was an enjoyable atmosphere. We are outside under the cover of shade and it was nice. The food was very good. We'll most likely they this place again while we're vacationing. I recommend!”

“Food was okay, I had the crab and shrimp pasta, my girl said the half pound of shrimp was great. But the greeters at the door and the person who answer the phone before we came were very polite. Our server Frank was great and has amazing customer service and made sure we had a great visit. Would have 5 stars but our daughter had grilled shrimp but didn't taste right but the customer service is a 5.”

“Awesome place for breakfast. Couldn't believe they weren't busier when we arrived. Food was great, service was very prompt, and prices were great. We would definitely go back. It was also very easy for my father in law to get in and out of in his motorized wheel chair”

“Excellent food and the staff is top notch! Best pizza and wings on the island! Please try their cheesy bread too! I thought a big chains bread was the best. Then I tried theirs and now my life is changed forever for the better. The owner is very personable and all of the staff is great! They make the food extremely fast and its always right. TRY THIS PLACE! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! Super baked customer for life! ( Yes I am a local and have eaten at many pizza places. This is still the best!)”

“The food was really good. It was the best shrimp gumbo I've had in a very long time. They know how to do the reaux here. I have to take some points though for the restaurant is in disrepair. The air conditioning was dripping condensation from the ceiling in several different places and it was just not the most cleanly place to eat. You definitely get the authentic bourbon street vibe here.”

“First time there and it was excellent. The food was outstanding, very flavorful. Service was terrific. Note, this is a small place but worth the wait for a table. We went to several other restaurants during our stay on HH and paid the same prices as Vine but the food at the other restaurants wasn't nearly as good.”

“Totally a hidden gem!! Not easy to find, but it's worth it. Baked goodies are divine. Great place for gluten-free cupcakes and desserts. Cannot say enough nice things about the staff. You absolutely must try the key lime tart! Food quality and taste is exceptional. Need a gluten-free dessert? This IS the place to go!”
