“The timing was perfect for getting seated right away but the staff was stretched a little thin. We were able to order fairly quickly but otherwise the service was a little slow. My meal was lacking a bit but it may have just been the way it was prepared. My mom on the other hand had a wonderful experience in that they doubled up on the shrimp she ordered! And although we asked a couple times about the biscuits, we had to take them to go in the end. Not a stellar performance but still a good visit...likely to go back.”

“The food was absolutely excellent - my grandmother got a vegetarian curry dish, I got the duck curry (and oh my goodness, it was amazing), and I got my son a side of tempura vegetables. They don't have a kid's menu, but portions are big enough to share with a toddler, and the vegetables were more than enough for my son, at the time 16 months old. The ambience was calm and beautiful, very nice to be in, and super relaxing, and the service was amazing. They did everything to accommodate us, and were just total sweethearts.”

“Coffee cold. Forgot the strawberry freeze I ordered. No hot water for tea. Had to dip ice out of a bin because the drink dispenser's icemaker was out of order. Cashier had to get us butter for the bread from behind the order counter. Seems like every employee, including the manager, was more interested in closing up than waiting on the paying customers. We got to the restaurant at 8 PM and they close at 9 PM.”

“It's only the second time we've been (we live in North Charleston) but this place is awesome! The patio is very nice and wide open, and the service is great! They've realized that the warmer months require indoor seating and have recently opened an upstairs bar. Their beer selection is comparable to a craft beer store. It's a perfect place to stop before, or after, a movie. Go check it out!”

“I really wanted fish but didn't want to pay big bucks. This place DELIVERED! The fish filet was big and absolutely delicious. The price was great, I got fish, two sides, and a drink for 9 dollars. The cashier was kind also. Definitely recommend this place. The only thing that is keeping me from giving 5 stars would be how the restaurant looks on the inside. It really needs to be renovated badly. Other than that it was AWESOME!!”

“Great little pizza place in Charleston. We went in later in the night and it was really good. You can get a 10" pie for yourself or larger sizes to share. Crust had a nice bite and no floppiness to it. Toppings were tasty and they put a ton of pepperoni on mine. Good beer selection to enjoy with your pie.”

Greeted as we entered and brought right to our table that was completely ready with menus and all. Got fantastic service from Preston who had tons of menu knowledge. Food was out of this world. We enjoyed steamed shrimp, muscles, fish dip, and the local green salad to start. For mains we had the curried fish and the charred octopus which both had so much depth to the dishes. Executive chef Kevin Kelly has a done a fantastic job with the menu and the chefs he hired and trusts to create these memorable dishes every day. For dessert the liquid cheesecake and bread pudding topped off what was a fantastic dinner. Even the spiritless drink was amazing. 100% will be back again.”
