“Great lil place next to a small creek. Has a fenced play area for kids with putt putt golf, zip line, and some other stuff also an ice cream shope there. Cabins are stocked with everything you need and has small in window ac and electric fireplace. Full kitchen and lovely loft for the kids. Close to town. Great place.”

“I love this place! I did my first wine tasting here, and it was really fun! The associate that served us the wine was really knowledgeable and friendly. They also have a hot mulled wine that was delicious. The food is wonderful, too, can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. It's very pleasant to hang out here, very nice atmosphere. The prices match the quality; I will mostly only visit on special occasions due to that. Highly recommend for a great experience! 👍👍”

“Very family friendly they have a little for everyone beers and wine tasting for the adults ice cream tasting and big games for the kids. Not to mention there service is unbelievable they greated us as we walked in and made us feel as if we have been there many times before. “This place knows how to make sweet wine! Hubby and I stopped in for a tasting and LOVED every single one of the sweet wines! The people were super friendly - which made our experience there even better! Highly recommend the Burlesque (blackberry) and Nooner (peach moscato). We left to grab a bite to eat (their kitchen was closed due to a recent remodel) and came back for a glass and bought a couple bottles.”

“Let me start by saying the 3.9 rating made me hesitant to go, but the ratings are way off. It seems that the majority of bad ratings come from bad service, but I think the expectations are too high for this day and age. We arrived and it was busy. We were seated within a few minutes and informed of how the process works. Sat our 2 boys at a table as we went to the LARGE bar for a beer flight and a wine tasting. Service was very good and they even interacted with our 6 and 10 year old well. We had a pretzel which was yummy, but we're mostly here for drinks. The wine is very traditional, but good. Beer is also traditional. I like a little variety, but they make the classics and do a good job. Ambience is nice, get out back to the patio is the weather lets you.”

“Restaurant Review: The Powder House restaurant food and service were excellent. The Pork shank and Powder House chicken were outstanding. We wanted to sit outdoors on their popular porch so we had to wait, but we were able to have a drink outdoors while waiting. Even though it was an hour within closing they got us in, fed us and were pleasant. Great customer service from the mature hostess as well as the server. Most dinners are between $10 and $20 per person.”

“We visited Mt Rushmore this morning!! Amazing!!! You must go!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸 Ready for lunch afterwards. We went to Keystone looking around & found The Front Porch! They had ice tea!!! Wonderful!!! We ordered their Trout with steamed veggies 🥦! Good for me & delicious!! Ordered their sirloin steak 🥩 too. It was good. Thin wide fries—so amazing!!! Delicious!!! Service was great!!! “Wonderful food! We sat on the top balcony and ate food from the walk up order stand. The food was great! The staff was very nice as well. As you can see I got the cheese curds and I don’t regret it! The view was also fun to look at as we ate. This restersnt also offers a dine in option with is fancier but just as good! Great little spot in Keystone!”

“This place has amazing food. I had buffalo ribs which were falling off the bone and I didn't need the knife. I only used it to hold it down to tear a piece off or slather on bbq sauce. My husband has the buffalo nachos. Now one of the interesting things was they didn't serve alcohol. The Red Garter Saloon attached though did, and came into Ruby House to take orders. The decorations were really unique. Kinda a burlesque feel to it with the red velvet mixed with the old west cowboy decor.”

“Amazing food. We were staying next door at the Best Western and were so happy to have an awesome restaurant next door. We had the honey bourbon wings and prime rib and our kiddos had a cheeseburger kids meal. Everything was top notch, I’ve never had a smoked prime rib before, it’s was incredible! And the wings were huge and amazing and my kids loved their meals as well. Very nice fun atmosphere as well and great service from the staff.”

“Excellent! Walked over to this restaurant from our hotel (right across from the Black Hills Central Steam train). We were seated promptly, and everything on the menu looked good. Two adults shared a large pizza; did the "create your own" with shredded cheese, shredded meatballs, red onion and mushroom. It was great and our waiter was attentive.”

“Nice little local bar that is part of the Cafe actually. Bar is small but lots of indoor seating. They have all you can eat ribs, salad bar and full menu. Staff is great and friendly. Like I said I thought this was a bar restaurant but really it's the Cafe with a small bar attached. Either way cool place to grab a beer, dinner or both.”

“It was late and we had to find a place fast… So… It was crowded, so we thought, the place must be good. We found a place outside. There was a guy playing an e-piano and singing… But that was AWFUL at times… My wife and I had nachos. They were quite good, but not great. But the thing I hated was drinking beer and cocktails out of PLASTIC cups… 😖 But that‘s the American way… Me as a German there is nothing I can do about it…”

“Great pizza and boneless wings. I can tell the boneless wings were hand breaded from scratch instead of the frozen boxed chicken every other pizza joint makes. Got seated right away. The food came fast and they even made me some plain chicken breast for my dog(calm down my dog didn't come inside). As far as this time of year goes this place is your best bet if you are in Keystone, South Dakota. They lose a star because the draft beer was way overpriced for some lackluster regional brews. Next time I'll carry out and buy some grocery store beer for drinking.”

“Possibly the best Hawaiian burger (“Pineapple Express Burger”) I’ve ever had. Perfectly done! Another person in our party had the cheeseburger, and said that might be the best cheeseburger she’s ever had. “Pulled pork was super yummy…love the real cut French fries. My soda didn’t taste right but owner was real nice about changing it. Hubby thought his chicken was a little over done but still ate it, waiter took some off the price without us even saying anything, which was nice but truthfully we weren’t gonna complain. My daughters chicken strips were tasty too. Service was quick but kind of wondered why they were bringing food in from outdoors and realized the kitchen was upstairs. Wasn’t sure about that but food came quickly enough that the temp was still quite warm.”

“the mine went further back than we thought. fun experience the kids enjoyed it. they have an old mining cart that you can sit in for photos inside the mine. tour guide gave great facts about the mine the entire tour. if someone needs to have a wheelchair it's easy to push through the mine as well.”
