“We have been talking about eating there for months. We finally stopped in for dinner. The prices were outrageously friendly. Our order was interesting. I ordered the dish with shrimp, squid and scallops. Outstanding, however no scallops. We noticed the tables around us continued to be served incorrect orders. This restaurant has good affordable options but was chaotic. We had one server take our drink order, another take our food order and another brought us our food. Great food, unorganized service.”

“I enjoyed Fancy Bowl that I had to go twice in one week! The space is clean, inviting, and modern. The staff is super friendly and ready to answer any questions that you have. The food is incredible. I love their system for ordering the bowls - you just fill out a form of what you would like in your bowl, and then they bring it to your table (or to you if you're getting it to go!). It allows everyone to get exactly what they want. No matter what you get, I promise that it will be delicious. The amount of food you get with each bowl is also very generous, and the prices are very fair. I definitely recommend anyone who enjoys sushi or poke bowls to try this out!!”

“I am moving to SF and wanted to check out sushi spots during my visit. I’ve lived in various states/cities across the US. This is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve EVER been to. The fish was like butter it was so fresh! Service was great, sushi came out quickly and I left completely satisfied. The only “issues” i see would be picking up to go orders, parking was difficult, although it was a Friday evening. I would walk in 6’ of snow for their sushi, it was that good and I’m VERY picky!”

“When we first walked into the restaurant, the first thing that we noticed was how clean it was. The decor is simple, with Ethiopian artifacts and artwork on a stage and walls. The food was very good. The injera is not as sour as some restaurants that we’ve been to. We chose two vegetarian options and were not disappointed. The food was very satisfying; we left full and very happy that we could find this unexpected gem of a restaurant in our travels.”

Followed the customer in front of me and ordered the crema on the side. Great choice if you are not eating on site so the fried onions stay crisp.
