“Staff was amazing! My husband LOVED the unique "Full Monty" Burger. Food was great and the restaurant is very cute. Definitely a spot I'm going to stop in again the next time we are in South Dakota. They have a small patio outside and nice size bar. No sweet tea though.”

“Great location. They have many window seats with views of the creek. We saw fish jumping in the water. The BBQ was decent. We had a pulled pork sandwich and half order of ribs. My only knock on the food was that they had a new menu, so they didn't have a lot of the items from the reviews like the cheese curds and macaroni and cheese, which were both things we were looking forward to. We got the mac and cheese bites instead but they were just fried Kraft mac and cheese noodles. Their sweet tea was not as sweet as you find in the South but still good. I give the place five stars because of the location and the ribs, they were fall off the bones like the other reviews said.”

“We ordered the grilled Walleye and the whiskey steak. They were both excellent. The steak was roast tender and Walleye had a good flavor. I will eat here next time we're in town. (We had to stop for I-90 icy road conditions) Highly recommend!”

“I'm really not a "bar guy" but my wife and I went to Silver Dollar Bar because we were told the food was good and it was. The first time we went was after lunch hours but before dinner so there wasn't many customers. The staff was super nice and the service was fast. The burgers are awesome and so we're the fried mushrooms we had as an appetizer. Today we went back around 6 PM and there was a pretty good crowd inside. Just like our first time the staff was all smiles and our food came out quickly. If you're ever in Chamberlain South Dakota you really should drop by Silver Dollar. Who knows, you might just win a jackpot on the slots while you're there.”

“The shop has a great fun atmosphere. The stools have the carvings of animal butts for you to sit on. The pizza itself is a cross between deep dish and not...half deep? The bottom is browned like it was made in cast iron, not on an oven rack. It is firm, not floppy, not overcooked. The sauce is a perfect balance between savory and sweetened tomatoes. The amount and flavor of the cheese is perfect. The loss of the star was because they don't deliver over the bridge to the hotels in Oacoma.”

“Steak street tacos and standard beef tacos were good. We pulled off the highway for a quick bite. The bathrooms were clean, but had only air dryers (no paper towels) and you had to grab the handle to leave. 😬 The staff was friendly and helpful, but the seating area had dirty tables that had not been wiped. Overall, a decent experience and would stop again.”

“Great atmosphere good portion size. Plethora of items on the menu to choose from. Each Mexican restaurant has their own and unique salsa Mi Pueblo salsa is very flavorful and and it leaves you wanting more. The dishes we ordered we thought we're under seasoned and could use a little help in the flavoring department but overall very nice restaurant to stop in for lunch or dinner.”

“The waiter seemed a bit far out. Very distracted. It took forever for our order to be taken. The food came really fast to make up for it! And BOY was it delicious! Overall this was an awesome experience and will definitely be back. ”

“Spearfish, SD has two locations, one on Evans Lane, and one on North Street. Both have excellent customer service, but the North St. location is far superior. The building is much nicer, the location is great, and they offer hot food 24/7.”

“The wait for food was a little longer than expected as, there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. The cheese curds were spectacular. The waffle fries were amazing. Very garlicky. I would recommend the French fries and the classic oasis burger. Grilled cheese was bad. Overcooked bread and overall would never get again. Would recommend if you are hungry and have the time 👍(the pickles in the grilled cheese picture we’re from the burger)”

“Joany (sorry if mispelled) is a wonderful person with a great attitude and a magnificent spirit that lights up the place with great vibes. The cook, her beautiful grandmother does wonders with her hands and has lovely beautiful eyes. The food is magnificent (especially the asian food) very delicious salmon, great hot wings, and the restaurant has lots of great features like a pool table, small casino, private dining tables for the romantic couples, and a very nice bar fully stocked.”

“The main feature of the US transport system is that it is overwhelmingly tied to road transport. There are few transcontinental railroads here, and the very philosophy of their operation does not fit well with the principles of decentralization and subcontracting on which the American economy is built. Therefore, since the 50s, when the country was covered with a network of high-speed highways - freeways-interstates - most of the cargo has been transported by road. It is more selective, fast and flexible than aviation, rail or sea. Therefore, the entire transport economy here is built around heavy trucks. I wrote a lot about American tracks, their features and device earlier. Those interested can go into details here, here and here. But now we will not talk about them, but about the transport "back office" - the system of roadside support for American road freight. The basis of this very provision is truck stops - gas stations for heavy vehicles, combined with parking lots for it. There are a huge number of truck stops in the United States - from small family ones with a dozen parking spaces to huge ones designed for several hundred cars. The largest in America, the emnip, can accommodate 500 trucks. It is located on the Midwest, somewhere in Iowa. However, in general, a typical parking lot is designed for forty to fifty cars.”

“The service was good. There was little bit of a line. It moved fast. The chicken was dry but the crust had good flavor. I would try it again in hopes of getting chicken that wasn't dry.”

“Really amazing service, friendly, fast, accurate and accommodating. The 14 oz ribeye was wonderful, obviously local, South Dakota beef, well marbled, juicy, and delicious, cooked to order. They were able to accommodate our group of 10, which wasn't obvious from the looks of the bar in front, but the restaurant in back was well large enough to take us all. The fries were good, the onion rings had a super crisp crust on them, but the big winner were the sweet potato fries, which had a super light crisp crust on waffle cut sweet potatoes. Those were amazing. The burgers were all beautifully char grilled and were substantial, you can order them by the weight of the patty and how many patties you want. Lots of great choices and a whole menu of bottled beers as well as the full service bar.”
