“Hot wings were delicious! I got 10 wings with two different styles: their signature Garlic Butter Bliss dryrub and Extra Hot (wet). I love that you can have different sauces on one order. The fried okra was awesome! They put a special blend of seasoning on there. I also added 1 piece of fried catfish to my order (I love that you can add just 1 piece of things to your order so you can try them), and that was seriously the best seasoned catfish I have ever had. It was somehow perfectly crispy but not greasy AT ALL - in fact not even a trace of oil. Be advised that you may have to wait a bit for your order (10-15 minutes), but I didn't mind since the food was so good!”

“I enjoyed the samosas. They were very tasty and had good flavor. The garlic naan was perfect. I have ordered curries twice now and each time asked for spice level to be high. Both times the base flavor was good but very bland. First time 2/5 spice level and second 1/5. I'll try one more time before moving on because otherwise it's a great place.”

“First time ever! And what a win. My goodness, the service was excellent. Choices on the menu board were very easy to read and options were perfect. I went with a friend and we had three different tacos each, and two sides. Took less than five minutes from the time we sat down. What a treat! The brisket was savory and perfectly cooked for tacos. The fish had great flavor and again cooked perfectly. The shrimp was amazing, and yes there were more than enough on one taco. Even the tortillas used for the shell were fresh. I definitely got my monies worth for food. Bathrooms were super clean and the restaurant was nice and cool, welcoming environment. I will definitely be back. “Love their pizza!! Thin, original, or deep dish (recommend getting the deep dish well done!) are all excellent. Every time we’ve gotten their pizza, I’ve always gotten deep dish for myself (takes a bit longer to bake, but well worth the wait!). Even then delivery is within 40-50 minutes at peak times, on a par with others’ times and arrives very fresh. Sauce is tangy and a bit on the sweet side, but believe me: it works!!”

“Santhi's kitchen is my new favorite Indian place in the dfw area by a huge margin. Fantastic food! It was very fresh and flavorful and despite being a busy restaurant it felt like the food was made just for me. The variety in their menu is outstanding, I have tried their shrimp curry, mutton curry, different sweets and snacks and they all blew my mind away one after the another. “We had a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We sat outside which was nice. We enjoyed the Latin music as we dined. My wife and I both had a bowl of tortilla soup which we both enjoyed. Not only was it tasty but had an ample amount of chicken. Very nice! The presentation was great! Nice heavy silverware which made an impression! My wife had the taco salad which would have been nicer had the romaine lettuce been leafy green, but the greens were mostly yellow and bitter which was most likely due to the predominate use of the inner leaves rather than the outer leaves of the romaine lettuce. Another thing to note is that the greens were not shredded which could have improved the presentation of the entire salad. The poblano vinaigrette however was nice. I had the Mole enchilada which was good, but incorporating some type of cheese may have made it a more lively dish. Our overall dining experience was good and the service was outstanding!”

“Family owned, family recipes. Absolutely delicious food. Friendly, welcoming service and nice atmosphere. A good test of Mexican food is how much care goes into the basics of rice and beans. Too often, rice and beans are thoughtless fillers at Tex Mex and even self-proclaimed Mexican restaurants. Alma's clearly cares about each item they put on a plate and takes time to make every serving delicious. I would be happy with just a plate of their rice and beans for a meal. Enchiladas are authentic and the ranchera sauce is spot on. I try mole whenever it is on a menu and Alma's is quite nice with wonderful sesame flavor. We look forward to returning and trying out other parts of the menu. Alma's is a promising addition to dining in Flower Mound.”

“Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Very courteous and accommodating. The “chicken” in the chicken and waffles entree were not good at all. Blocky freezer styled tenders, with no flavor and an after taste. The gravy was delicious, but not enough to offset the taste of those tenders. Ultimately ended up ordering something else. The waffles and bacon were pretty decent, I would say the best part of the entree. The sausage was along the same lines, no flavor. The eggs struggled in the flavor area as well, not sure if they use powdered eggs or what. The prices are decent, just need a little work with some of the key menu items. When one thinks of “down south”, you are expecting real down home cooking with boastful flavors that taste fresh out the kitchen cooked with love. You will definitely appreciate the ambiance and hopefully some of the other menu items, as there are some areas of opportunity for some of the breakfast items.”
