“Um, yeah! Fast service. Order staff were friendly and engaging. The dining room and grounds were spotless clean. Has a drive through of course, public restrooms, outdoor seating, is easy to see from the road, is a hotspot for travelers, is a great place for a quick meal and dining alone but who wants to dine alone!?! Order the Burger and fries "animal" style for a real treat. And think long and hard before passing up the chance to order a chocolate shake. Not a place for vegan dining, all you can eat, or night life with alcohol. No TVs for sports watching or live music. But really, I go there for the burgers????????”

“The best hero place in Texas, the subs remind me of being back in the East Coast. I miss being able to go to the bodegar around the corner and just getting a hero sandwich.”

“Great place great foods, also open for public, average 7-8 dollars per person, from deli to smoke house, salad bar and Asian style cuisine, largest dinning hall in baylor, recommend!”

“Highly recommend their burgers. They're convenient, affordable, and are much better quality burger than most other fast food places nearby and especially compared to dining hall burgers. I personally eat here at least once a week.”

“My husband ordered a "big heaping mess". He really liked it. I ordered the brisket tacos. I did NOT like them. They were so greasy. The grease was pouring out the ends. I could only eat half of one. The fries were good. The bartender greeted us right away. She is what gives it a better star rating.”

“Typical Subway (inside a gas station). I must say, however, that it took longer than normal to assemble the sandwiches for everyone in line. On the plus side, my sandwich was carefully assembled and not the usual mess that I've experienced at other locations. I think some of employees were in training. Overall, not a terrible experience.”

“Excellent Cajun food. I had the catfish with red beans and rice along with some chicken and sausage gumbo - all very good. I appreciate a good hush puppy, and these were just average at best, but that doesn’t detract from the overall meal, which I quite enjoyed. Seating (inside) is limited and tight quarters, but I arrived early and had no issues. Friendly staff. Giving it 4 stars, but many 5 star qualities. Recommended.”

“I am a bbq lover! I love to stop at bbq places when we travel which we have stoped at lots of them, but this little place will be one of my favorite place to stop everytime we come by Waco. I am from Lubbock and we have some good bbq there. But Mama & Papa bbq is one of the BEST BBQ I've eaten!! Can't wait til i come back????”

“The food here was absolutely awesome!!!! I’d highly recommend this place! I had brisket tacos and the guacamole was probably the best I’ve ever had! This place is busy for a reason folks. The food is very tasty and the prices are reasonable. I just had the Taco of the Month, the Scalawag. Shrimp with coconut breading and peach habanero sauce. Fantastic! The only real issue with the place is that the parking lot is too small and, given the location, it is difficult to "circle the block" to wait for a space to open. Once you find an open spot, the spaces are so close together that parking can be a pain.”

“Of all the Wendy's that I go to around town this one is my favorite. I guess because they're downtown they're used to being busy all the time so they are always super fast in the staff is always very nice. And if they ever mess anything up they do above and beyond to fix it and make things right”

“I typically eat at this location which is in the Baylor area. This visit was the only time my potato soup was a little too cool, not even luke warm. Not sure if it's because of how cold it was inside the restaurant. Over all I really enjoin eating here and my boys love the baked potatoes!”

“Loved it. Great buffet food. Also has a flat top they cook in front of you. Wish it explained a little better on how to set food up for people that have never eaten there. Overall great food, cleanliness, kind waitresses. Did not check out bathrooms.”

“The staff was absolutely amazing, and I want to give a thanks to our cashier Tracy for being such a dime. Almost no wait for the food and this is the first taco bell I've seen that has sweet tea for a drink option. I love this taco bell.”

“It's a good place for burgers when they make them the way you ask for but every time I go there's something missing. But I should check my order before I leave the place. Otherwise it is a good place to eat at.”

“When traveling, I'm always looking for the sometimes hidden or unknown treasures. This place is definitely a treasure! Upon entering the restaurant, we were promptly greeted by friendly service and smiles. Soft jazz was playing and the tables were decorated as this was Mother's Day weekend. The aroma of fresh homemade cooking filled the air. We were seated quickly and service was prompt. I ordered the baked chicken, homemade red beans and cabbage. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Probably the best baked chicken I have ever had. The meal was complete after trying their fresh peach cobbler! Dee-licious! Stop by, say hello, and stay for some homemade southern cooking!”

“This is an amazing restaurant, a hidden gem!! The atmosphere inside was so inviting, but we chose to sit on the patio because it was a beautiful day????. Our waiter, Chris, was amazing and the menu item, pulled pork tacos, he suggested was amazing!! The blueberry/blackberry mimosa was delicious. The service was outstanding and he was very friendly & personal! We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day for brunch!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a yummy place to eat and relax!!”

“I tried their seafood tacos on Wednesday, they were fabulous! I am usually a Cabana bowl fan, but the tacos were great. I hadn't been there in a while, but it is still just as good. They make things fresh, so the drive through can be a little slow. Indoor and outdoor seating, fun place for fun quick Tex-Mex.”

“This Long John Silvers is the best!! Always have had great customer service. Fish and chicken is always fresh and hot. We stop there almost every time we are in Waco. “This is the real deal people. Owner Trey is a delight and he’s slinging some serious bagel. These are definitely some of the best bagels I’ve ever had in my life. Texture and flavor on point. Then you turn it up a notch with that Schmear. Well done well done. This food truck belongs here and they deserve success.”
