“Old rustic hotel sits in the lake with a beach and a family owned feel, very cute if you don’t mind old decor and no cell signal. Waking up to breath taking views makes staying here worth it. “Unexpected in door county. This SE Asian restaurant has the classic flavor down. Try the Pad See Ew for the real street flavor of Bangkok. The Hmong egg rolls are also very good. The interior still looks a little like the bar that used to be there but other than that the ambiance is fairly generic. They seemed to have a steady stream of customers but overall they weren't too busy that they couldn't take care of the people that were there. Worth the visit.”

“We ate at this great little restaurant for lunch while staying on the island. I had the very best BLT that I have ever had, and I make them all the time at home. My husband had a wrap that he loved as well. I also had a piece of cherry pie for dessert that was just what I was having a hankering for for days. It was homemade. We ate outside at a picnic table and it was very relaxing and enjoyable. The service was also top notch and the server very friendly. There is a story behind this cute little restaurant and inn. This is a wonderful family who runs it. The mom is a pastor and adopted 6 children who were in the foster system. I am glad we chose this little gem for lunch and will visit again if we are in the area. You should too!”

“Had a wonderful meal at the Shoreline Restaurant last night. The place was packed and we decided to eat at the bar to speed things along a bit. It was our good fortune to meet the restaurant's owner and wife and got excellent dinner recommendations and travel stories to boot. My wife had a pecan encrusted walleye with an Asian dipping sauce .My choice was broiled whitefish with pesto and four cheeses which was excellent and served with rice pilaf and sauteed veggies. We had whitefish chowder and cocktails and nice salads in advance and enjoyed the bar denizens. A beautiful evening overlooking Green Bay.”
