You have about 5 options of sides with your type of sandwich. The Cherry & double chocolate sundae was delicious. Prices are a bit high & most of the kids working there are helpful & efficient. Appeared clean & the historic building & deco reminds me of an old kids camp from years ago. I tried to use my Discover charge card but the young gal forgot to say they don’t accept Discover there. I didn’t see a sign or any type of posting there either. We would definitely return if in the area.”

“The food here was just so so. It wasn’t bad, but not fantastic either. I don’t usually add salt to my food, but the fries had zero seasoning on them. The grilled cheese was okay, it almost had too much cheese. I did end up picking some out and leaving it behind. We also ordered the tacos and they too were just okay. Not awful, but nothing to write home about. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was fun. We sat down by the water. Service was fast.”

“This was our first trip to Door County and I had a taste for steak. We by chance went to the Waterfront and were treated very well, even without a reservation. The food tasted wonderful and was beautiful as well. The drinks were perfect. So good it made me tear up. Seriously outstanding!”

“Great fish tacos, loved the cherry soda. I also appreciated the love music that was nice... Enjoyable, a bit mellow, and not too loud - perfect for the setting. We arrived just before it started to sprinkle, but got a table under an umbrella just before it started to pour. A bit bit damp but really enjoyed our food. Had a nice stroll about, after we finished dinner. While the sun was behind clouds, I could see it would provide excellent sunsets.”

“First time up to door county, and on the first night we chose wild tomato as a second option. In the future, it will be a first option. Pizza was amazing, with the sauce being robust, perfectly portioned toppings, and a beautifully baked crust. The service was excellent as well and staff was polite, fast, and accurate. Absolutely loved it. Will reccomend this to my family who comes up here every summer!”

“We visit DC a few times a year and this was our first time at Grasse's for breakfast. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. The two different breakfast meals I had were delicious and would have again and again. The rest of our party, 9 of us including two kids under 5, were saying the same. Great alternative to the long lines at Al Johnson's. I would recommend going and trying it for yourself.”

“Found this place last year and while it took a while to convince to me try “goat cheese” anything I am so glad I did! In addition to blocks of goat cheese they also offer a nice selection of goat cheese spreads and ice cream along with goat milk soaps and lotions, apparel and wine. They also partner with a local farm for goat yoga which I definitely want to try next time! Only downfall is the crazy small chairs all the places seem to have here...not hip/butt friendly. Otherwise fabulous shop and a must see!”

“I rate this experience overall as a 4. I have been going to Al Johnson's since I was a child. This is my first time since coming as an adult with my own child. We had an hour and a half wait time which is normal for Al Johnson's. During that wait we watched a group of twelve and two high chairs come in and get sat after twenty minutes of waiting. It seemed as if they knew a wait staff and used this to their advantage. The worst part of it was it seemed the hostess had no control and had no idea what was going on but had to deal with patrons noticing that something was wrong. Once we sat down we were served our food and drinks within a 30 minute period of time. I have worked in food service for over 8 years. This sort of treatment is appalling to me and is the main reason I am writing this review today.”

“My family of 3 walked around Sister Bay for a half hour in search of a place to eat. We were told in 4 other restaurants that our wait time would be at LEAST 40 minutes. Granted it was Labor Day weekend, it was late enough on a Sunday that we thought we wouldn’t have an issue. We happened to walk a little further up the hill on the main road and were pleasantly surprised to find this cozy gem. We were seated right away, received great service, and ate good food, all for a reasonable price. Oh, and not to mention the view out the window of the restaurant!”

“Outstanding find for lunch. I usually do not order salads but this looked to be their specialty and luckily I was right. I went with the cashew chicken salad which came with a cup of soup. The tomato basil soup was delicious with the just the right amount of pepper to keep it not boring. The actual chicken salad part of the salad was very fresh and I left feeling satisfied and not hungry which is always a worry of mine when I have a salad for a meal.”

The seating was a great choice, I got to sit in an area next to the porch. However, service was slow. I ordered fries and it probably took 10-15 minutes, maybe 20 to get my food to my table!
