“I was walking by when I saw a sidewalk A-frame with MEXICANA shown proudly with arrow pointing to epicurious garden. Then I remembered ABC noticed posted on door not too long ago. With about a week left in bay area until I head back home to vegas I figured why not. MEXICANA bill itself as cal-mex instead of tex-mex similar to Guacamole 61 only cheaper in price everything is under USD$11.50 at most. Not much to say here, it's in the food court walk up order at counter service and grab a seat if available, but remember social-distancing. The two workers in kitchen were really friendly easily struck up a convo with them just seconds of saying hi, but stick to business as usual. I got a carnitas burrito with spinach tortilla, black beans, cheese, spanish rice and skip guacamole and sour cream (both are extra). I'm sure it will elevate taste, but I just wanted to taste it on the simple side without masking taste. Burrito is tasty and flavorful seasoned carnitas had natural juice with each bite it oozes out from strands of fiber. And every order include chips and a choice of mild, medium, hot salsa. Not bad for food court standards with all things considered like choice of tortilla and 3 toppings (jack cheese by default for everything) if you don't like it, then you are SOL. They served many good foods such as ramen, donburi and chirashi at a very affordable price from $10 I specifically order the deluxe ramen that comes with extra egg and meats, at the affordable price range, the ramen surprisIngly taste so good and one of the best I have ever tried. You can also custom the type of the noodle without any extra charge. The ramen comes in three flavor, tonkotsu, black and red. Go for red if you love spicy and black if you love a strong broth (personally I am) We also ordered their chirashi bowl which is very fresh lastly we tried the organic matcha they had which named whisk. They have many flavors but our favorite is matcha mango Definitely worth to try this restaurant”

“*rating only based on Chicken Curry Bowl - IF YOU GO TRY THE OTHER STUFF, might be good. didn’t try the ramen, matcha, chirashi, etc. S02 - Chicken Curry Bowl - ~$13 after tax. Place opened around January 2020 VERY cool aesthetics, very new. They have Great polite staff, and the S02 is alright, but I would say the high prices not worth it. It’s very run of the mill but higher than average cost. Would come back if there was ever offerings for like “mini” size for half price or daily deals for different menu items like seasons of Japan does.”

“I remember they started out at farmers market, special event, and catering throughout the greater bay area. However, I've fond memories years ago on 4th of july at berkeley pier I went crazy got me a mixed fruit crepe with huge dollop of whipped cream so high that the lid for the box can't close. The prices today are identical to recent years didn't go up much staying within affordable and decent living range. The staff are mellow didn't expect much from them before and after my interaction being that they were pretty much the same over the years regardless of location. I decided to try nutella banana as I was craving a sweet crepe. Freshly made taste just a good as it look coming off the griddle, you can't ask for more than that. Took it across the street pop the lid using plastic knife and proceed to cut it in half. Batter was smooth very consistent no separation or holes just a little chewy, but that's normal. Nutella filling wasn't just a spat or smear here and there, it had a good amount each time I bite it, it oozes out. Banana wasn't underripe or overripe just perfect to compliment and balance the sweetness. “My wife and I recently visited Berkeley and went to the Claremont Hotel. The hotel is sprawling on a huge property with a lot of amenities. The staff is nice and the rooms are clean and we also use the spa which was very nice. My only real complaint is that our room was tucked back in an old wing and was complicated to get to. If we had children and a lot of luggage it would’ve been a pain coming in and out multiple times a day. Otherwise everything was good”

No wonder it is so popular among the students. Had the Korean fried chicken sub - even the half was really huge. The Korean sauce it was covered in was delicious. Very fresh chicken. It is essential to reaching your goals. If there was a medium to sacrifice and happiness this would be it! Vitality bowls! It's like ice cream with fruit...its like dessert all the time! “Gaumenkitzel is doing an amazing job adapting to shelter in place with to go orders! We enjoyed one of our favorite meals from the comfort of home tonight. Placing the order online was easy, everything was ready right on time when I went to pick it up and they’d done a great job creating a system in the restaurant to maintain social distancing, including 6ft squares on the floor, a designated table for food pick up, and contactless payments. Love you guys! Can’t wait to dine in again someday, but for now, cheers from home ????”
