“The ramen fell short of expectations for the $17.50 Tonkatsu with Chashu. The noodles were good and firm, but soft boiled egg was plain and non-marinated. Additionally the bean sprouts were not pickled which made the broth feel less rich. Four stars only for the amazing service and dedicated staff”

“I was so excited when I saw that there was going to be a second location at Bay Street! The pizza is always amazing and fresh and you can never go wrong with fries! Oh and you have to try the Jackfruit Taquitos! Those were fire 🔥 I’ll definitely be back!”

“A friend and I took our 12-year old daughters salmon fishing on the Pacific Pearl and had a great time. The captain and crew are very professional and super helpful for first time anglers. They made the trip. Highly recommend.”

“Absolutely BOMB chilaquiles. Huge portions. Seasoned well 👩🍳💋*chefs kiss* Cooks are amazing and workers are super nice. Coffee is great too, there’s a little kick to it and it’s perfectly sweet. Not too bitter or too sweet. One of my top places to go now.”

“The tastiest fast-Indian food with generous portions. Plus the owners and workers are very nice. They bake the naan to order - the wraps are pretty amazing. I believe the sauces are made from scratch and they're fantastic. The extra work doesn't go unnoticed.”

“Safe to say I am obsessed, their food is amazing. The best pastrami I’ve ever had, with the most delicious sauces. The weekends get pretty busy, so I recommend ordering in advance or going at off times. They have the friendliest staff and everything is fresh, homemade, and satisfying.”

“I was excited to try a new vegan meal, since vegan Italian restaurants aren’t easy to find outside of Italy right now. I got the truffle mushroom lasagna, which was quite delicious. I knocked off a star from my rating though because, even though my receipt said I would receive a text message “shortly” with a status update on my order, that text message never arrived. I showed up out of curiosity to see whether my order might already be ready, an hour after I placed it, and sure enough it was ready but only lukewarm instead of hot, indicating that it was finished fairly quickly, and the person who handed it to me did not even apologize for the lack of communication. This place is a so-called “ghost kitchen” and for my first impression the customer experience was severely lacking. If you say you’re going to text with updates, that absolutely needs to happen especially when there’s no phone number to call. I might try ordering from here one more time but if a similar situation occurs it may be my last order.”

“WOW amazing pizza!! So happy that this is now offered at Gilman Brewery. I can’t wait to try more pizzas. This was the classic pepperoni pizza and we loved it so much. The left overs did not disappoint either!”

“I have been to this restaurant a few times and each time we are very satisfied with our experience. The ambience and the vibe are always very nice and I love the fact that they have a DJ that keeps the music spinning. It definitely is busy in the evening so service may be a little slower than what is expected. I usually have catfish which is pretty good. I decided to try the mac and cheese annnnd let’s just say the presentation is the best thing. It was creamy and hot, temperature wise, but the seasoning was definitely not there. The only seasoning that you could taste was garlic so that definitely needs adjustment (unless they happen to have had a back up chef that night who may not be familiar with how to prepare this dish). The rooftop is also very nice and it’s definitely great that they have heaters because it definitely can be very cool later in the evening and at night. Either way, seating inside on the ground level or on the rooftop level is a win win because you definitely can still hear the music and enjoy the scenery. The prices are very reasonable but for those who are unaware, if you bring your own cake from outside they will charge you a $15 cake cutting fee. All in all, I would definitely recommend this restaurant because ambience is a key factor along with the food and service. There is plenty of street parking which is free of charge usually after 6 PM.”

“Everyone in the area knows about Blondie's (or Abe's Pizza), so we gave it a try. The signage and entrance feels very welcoming and there's a ton of drink options to choose from. We ordered slices of Pepperoni and Cheese pizzas. They are huge slices for under $6! My kids enjoyed their pizzas. You can order from 3 kiosks and pick up your order at the counter.”

“This is the best pizza in Berkeley! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The restaurant is centrally located in the outskirts of UC Berkeley making it a very popular location for Cal students. All throughout campus I noticed students eating pizza from this spot and the pizza boxes in trash cans so I was curious to see what all the hype was about. I’m so glad I decided to stop by because for only $32 (including tax) I was able to get a huge three topping pizza. Their menu is very clear and they have devices where you can order. The place was fairly busy for 3 PM with take out customers. The location was clean and the only complaint I have is all their extra fees. They charge $0.50-$1 for a to-go box and charge 4% when using a credit card. It’s important to note that they do not go by Abe’s Pizza, instead they go by Blondie’s Pizza which is confusing when you’re trying to find the location. Wait times were reasonable too. Definitely recommend to everyone!”

“I was actually very impressed. The noodles were of very generous portions and the broth had some very good flavor to it. A wonderful addition to telegraph and I look forward to trying it again. Note: if you are like me and are not a red meat eater, the noodle options are rather limited (no chicken options just veggie and a shrimp one I think). If you like beef and/or lamb though, this will be noodle heaven for you because there are many very tasty options.”

“New pizza place on Telegraph near UC Berkeley Campus - three pizza styles offered classic styles and curry styles. 8-inch personal pan pizzas are pictured here. The butter chicken was my favorite. It has a creamy sauce with robust texture from the chicken and soft crust. The owner takes a lot of care in curating each flavor combination. I recommend this place if you want classic dish like pizza with a satisfyingly exotic flavor combination.”

“Love the quality of the shredded chicken here! The burritos are delicious with large portions especially the super burrito. The guacamole was not fresh tasting. There is some indoor seating on high top chairs and no outdoor seating so Definitely expect to order to go. Very small and easy to miss location. A Definite must stop if in the area for a good burrito! Friendly staff and be sure to ask for any extra sides or check your bag before leaving.”

“Definitely hit the spot! The meat was cooked perfectly and had flavor! I got the mini burger (which is basically one patty) and it was filling! The pickles are made in house and we’re delicious. The garlic fries were good the flavor was there but the cheese on top was not melted completely. I will be back.”

“I guess it’s a copy brand try to be Paper lunch from China. It’s been opened for a week. All the main dishes are more than $15. Most of the dishes has no bean sprouts or other vegetables. I remember paper lunch is always has the egg and bean sprouts. Only me ordered the deluxe dish would come with the veggies and the miso soup. The service attitude is ok, but the workers still need more training. The ingredients are just ok, the rice is way too dry and tough, we talked to the workers and they either has no response or tell us if they put more water it will stick on the iron plate more. 🙄The air system should be improved since it’s gonna to be very greasy if all the dishes are cooked on the table. There’s no sensitize on the table. Not really recommend.”

“Found the place last minute and decided to come check it out. We ended up being seated in the private room area as the main area an bar were completely full and really appreciated that. The food was delicious and big kudos to the chef as the skin on the chicken and also the salmon were absolutely beautifully crispy. Service was also very attentive and knowledgeable. Overall was really happy to find Saltbreaker. Hope to visit soon and perhaps even use the private space for team or group events.”
