“Namastey Patio would be considered phenomenal anytime, but is the absolutely perfect way to enjoy an excellent meal while taking precautions against COVID. We had greatly enjoyed their takeout before, but recently needed a place to entertain a larger group. The owners helped us plan a family-style menu to be served on their spacious outdoor patio, but then efficiently moved us to an indoor space when we were surprised by rain. They still achieved distancing from other diners and excellent ventilation near the door as added protection. This was a wonderful opportunity to taste many dishes from the menu. All were expertly prepared and received rave reviews from each member of our group who are all discerning diners, but with varying tastes and preferences. In short, Sim and her co-owners provide an excellent dining experience at this very special restaurant.”

“We have always had such a great time visiting the Tannery Bend Brewery! We've made it a weekly stop. The beer is great and we appreciate the outdoor patio and kid friendly vibe. This place is not pretentious, just great beer, awesome service and solid food.”

“Best burrito ever, it was a real before and after moment. It is double the price of a regular burrito but 10x better! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Super delicious and creative! Sammy, the owner, is riffing on a sweet Korean tradition and making it savory and sweet. All cooked to order. It's a great snack or meal. Definitely will come back!”

“9-18-21 Stopped by for lunch during their soft opening. Tried the shrimp 🍤 sandwich and the chicken 🐓 sandwich. Both were very tasty. Presentation of the sandwiches is very elegant. Almost like a work of art. Would definitely come back again for more delicious sandwiches!”

“Great local sammich joint! I always order the Italian, I want to try other things, but it is just too good!! There are often great deals here on the beers - nice large selection. The BBQ always smells amazing, I still have yet to try it. Pinball machines are usually in good working order and are well maintained. There is also a great back patio space, perfect for having an adorable delicious meal on a nice weather day -- which are most days around here.”

“I was here for the first time for Oakland for All and was really impressed by the venue. First, it’s really well decorated so make sure to walk around everywhere because each area is different and so cute! Also, it’s a really big space with multiple bars on each floor meaning the service is really quick. The bartenders at all the bars I went to were very friendly and not in such a rush. I was really happy to see that there were very visible security guards inside the venue and they took security seriously when entering. I love that security was clearly a priority here! Love this place.”

“Officially my local spot for a special occasion! Highly recommend the scallops! However, the dessert was absolutely the star of the meal! The Paris Brest and Citrus cheesecake were unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Such a painting of flavors! The service was wonderful—everyone kind and attentive. The ambiance was also lovely. Also recommend the Lil Pick Me Up espresso martini 😋.”

“Wow!! Such delicious and fresh food!! Hands down my favorite Mediterranean in the East Bay. Everything was so juicy and perfectly seasoned. If you have never tried Turkish style cuisine, do yourself(and your taste buds) a favor and enjoy a meal here. They are new and have less reviews but the 4.9 star rating is well deserved.”

“If you love Cajun-style seafood, this is the spot. My spouse, our two boys, and myself just finished eating a ridiculously huge feast for $130. Fresh oysters, fried calamari, catfish, a huge seafood boil (Combo #1), garlic noodles and two sides of rice. The servers and staff are really nice and super fast. Extremely kid-friendly. Really warm vibes all around. Highly recommend this business if your family wants to have a relaxing dinner and leave in a great mood. 10/10 great addition to the neighborhood!”

“Wifey was on a good one and scoped the pizza joint out the corner of her eye. She was so hungry she slid right into the red and ordered a pepperoni, mushroom, and olive pizza. Service so good, joint came out the oven and Playboy slid it to wifey with the hurry up and the quickness. Pizza on fire! Fold it and crunchy, perfect in every aspect. Definitely hit it up on late night for delicious AF pizza!!”

“I've tried about 100 different types of pizza in the last couple of years, and I can say that Pizzaoki is the best. The crust is light, but still has that perfect chewiness that you want. The sauce doesn't overpower the cheese or toppings, and they're always super fresh. And most importantly, it's freaking cheap!”

“The food was amazing. I can't stress that enough. Amazing food. With that said, the marketing is borderline dishonest. When you advertise a bottomless Sunday brunch, the average person is going to expect bottomless mimosas. Instead, it's a brunch buffet and they had one person serving the food. I stood in line for 23 minutes to get my first plate. After finding out that mimosas were not included, we inquired about buying a bottle of champagne and orange juice. The cheapest option was $97 for one bottle. Now, to be fair, if you read everything on their site, including the fine print, you will figure all of this out. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The music was too loud and the place was too crowded. It almost felt like a night club. To sum up, the food is amazing. The people are great. Get ready to spend $130 a person though.”

“Love love love this pop-up at Shakewell's on Mondays! Such great flavors on these wood-fired pizzas conceived by the owner-chef.”

“The ramen here is definitely great. I like the char on the pork belly, the different vegetables and the noodles are just the right texture. The only problem is that the broth is a little too oily which ends up leaving an aftertaste in my mouth. All in all, price is fair and the atmosphere is nice.”

“This spot is a hidden gem! Food is delicious and the staff is so nice. The pork fried rice I ordered was some of the best I have ever had. The whole group I was with really enjoyed their food as well. If you’re in the area I definitely recommend you check this place out!”
