“Sixth time at South Lake Tahoe but first time here. You can get a nice dinner with access to the salad bar, soup and bread. Our waitress did a great job taking care of us. My wife and son enjoyed their lasagna and I enjoyed my spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and anchovies. We were not able to finish our dinners. You will walk out pleasantly satisfied.”

“Beautiful views! They had great drinks and good ice cream. This place was pretty cool.There was live music. We enjoyed going here after a few hours of kayaking. Super convenient from the lake. “Great casual dining. Too gusty for the lake-view deck the day we visited, unfortunately. The inside is decorated in adorable tropical island kitsch. I had classic cod fish and chips, which was served hot and crisp with passable tartar sauce. The teens I was with loved their portobello taco and tuna noodle bowls quite a bit.”

“My husband and I have been here twice now. Once on our honeymoon back in 2014 and once this year (2019) for our five year wedding anniversary. Both times we were not disappointed! Our most recent visit was great! Gracie, our server, was sweet, attentive and overall amazing! The prices are a little high for my average liking, but I cannot make what water view prices cost in Lake Tahoe. We will definitely be back!”

“Came here for the 1st time - our daughter had been here and told us to go there for breakfast. It did not disappoint. The place was crowded but they turn tables pretty quickly. The food portions were generous and the food was hot and fresh. I had 2 eggs, ham, hash browns and toast. They kept the coffee coming all during the meal. The staff was attentive and friendly.”

“This is a home town (local) kind of place. Nice, friendly, and good staff. We shared the double burger with fries and a dinner salad. The burger was awesome, just what we wanted. The fries were crispy and wonderful. My friend had the IPA and I had an Alpine Amber Ale, the beer was refreshing, but nothing we thought was great. We would go back to The Brewey at the Lake. When we go back, The burger was so good not sure if I would try anything else!”

It has obviously made things MUCH smoother for workers and employees alike, as it is usually packed, but there is never a wait in line. “Excellent food. Great service. Always wanted to stop by and glad we finally did. Great atmosphere. Not crowded on a Saturday was nice and a surprise. The bench in the booth was so close that my belly squeezed against the table and we could not move! I felt like I was stuck in a carnival ride with great breakfast! Lol. Next time I will ask for a table as I am not that fat! The muffins were hard as a rock but they replaced it and were good about it. Can't give them 5 stars but we loved the service and food so we will definitely come back!”

If you come to South Lake Tahoe, and you want to try something different from your boring Mac and cheese and burgers, try this place. Good service and nice people. The place needs some windows or natural lights. I wonder what is that huge picture of waterfall that covers the whole wall? Anyway that did not affect my appetite, but it was a bit annoying. I will still recommend this place. ????”

“Wonderful evening with new friends on the beach. The Wet Woodie drinks flowed too easily. Our dinner was excellent, in particular the scallops. I would come back again just for them. The broth from the steamed clams was outstanding as a dipping sauce for the garlic bread. Our main course was simple fish and chips and they were done brilliantly. Right balance of fish and crust. Our server was amazing and accommodated our every request. Just an excellent evening.”

If you like a everything type sub get their Yellow Sub with everything , ask for extra oil and vinegar , yum! The 6inch is huge, I share mine and its more than enough.
