“Wow I've had a lot of sushi and this was easily the freshest and best tasting I've ever had! I got the taco Tuesday special, one spicy tuna and one lemon salmon sushi taco and they were both incredible. The flavors are delicate and well balanced. If you like sushi you will not be disappointed!”

“Great food and atmosphere. Dog friendly too! Big fan of their Reuben and a usual special soup of the day combo. Also I remember having a corned beef sandwich special around St Patties Day which was amazing. Great staff, but be prepared to wait longer for food on music nights. Totally understandable, so just go in knowing this and you're great.”

“Amazing food, and a wonderful atmosphere. The burgers are very good, and crispy fries. The bacon is way too crispy, but the eggs, and waffles are delicious. And the spuds are bussin too. I highly recommend this place if you need some breakfast for a fast break”

“Vegan friendly! I walked in and asked if they had vegan friendly options, and they walked me through modifications and what I could get. I got two bean n rice tacos w lettuce and the veggie salsa. They were good! Also the guac here is great. Love the decorations and the service was fast and friendly! Would recommend!!”

“This was smokin good!!! See what I did there. Found this little gem as we were Nomading our way back from Mazatlãn MX and pulled over with our trailer and truck for a bite to eat. So flavourful. I had the charred ends meal. Nom nom. We didn’t have any leftovers. That’s indicative of how nummers our meals were. Take out or dine in.”

“At the suggestion of a new friend I met out on the trails, I tried this eatery. Full disclosure, the person recommending works there as well. Said they had the best burger in town after I mentioned looking for a good one. So I went in with every intention of having a burger. Was welcomed quickly by a friendly server and offered a choice of seating. A bit quiet when I arrived so I was happy. Quite full by the time I left (both my belly and the restaurant). Well upon looking at the menu I decided I was more in the mood for a salad so i opted for the Cobb and I must say it was perfect. Super fresh romaine, delicious chicken and I think I may have to marry their bacon! I thought it looked a bit small at first but once I tucked in to eating I realized this is a substantial salad (around $15). Well worth the price, given the location, and obvious food quality. Looking at some other menu items, I thought they may be a bit pricey but if they are like the rest of the food, probably worth it. They've got an assortment of cider and beer and wine as well. The decor is bright and airy and welcoming. For dessert I had a brownie with ice cream that about the size of Montana, had to tap out halfway (ate all the ice cream!), and brought the rest home. All in all very wonderful time. Bill was just over $30 and worth every cent. Round two: I went back for the burger and although the "Bleu" burger is highly recommended, I was drawn to the "Good" burger and glad I did return. Absolute perfection again, with Drew in the kitchen crushing it. Delicious, well-flavored meat, fresh topping and a bun to die for, but again, bacon... oh my. But what I didn't expect was to have the single best order of onion rings I have ever had in my life. You could actually taste the onion! Handmade to order, these are NOT nasty reheats from a bag, they were sublime. On point, well done my friend. OMG, I almost forgot the housemade ranch dressing. I am not a big ranch fan unless I make it from scratch at home, but on Alysha's suggestion to dip the 0-rings, I am glad I did. Like most things here, you get what you pay for. Quality. Had a Cherry cider with the meal in a can and then Friends with Benefits from the tap. The floral nose on that was so good, somehow I managed to finish the whole pint! All in all, a wonderful place to chill with friendly servers, (Ronnie and Alysha) and an overall soft and welcoming vibe. Food the second time was around $25 for a burger and two drinks, again, very reasonable given the quality of service and food. PS... thanks to Val, I am glad we met!”

“They are really really friendly and super helpful. Their app on the other hand sucked major. Luckily for me the lady behind the counter was very understanding and helpful and empathetic. The only reason they arent getting all the starts is because the web site is a giant p.o.s and a waist of time. But great idea.”

“We drove to Eureka from Oregon specifically to visit Lost Coast, and it was the best decision we ever made. Their Tangerine wheat is delicious, and the food was amazing (best bbq pork I've EVER had). The staff takes obvious pride in the business, absolutely can't recommend enough.”

“We’re not from the area and we asked one of our friends that is, where the best pizza was in Eureka and he told us to check out Paul’s Live from New York!! Very open setting made for larger groups! You can order whole or by the slice pizzas! The have a special everyday that looks very appealing to the eye! The taste and the crunch was perfect!! I will be coming back when I visit again!! 💯”

“Looks are deceiving with this place. Everything is well priced and you can't go wrong with $4 beers. Sushi was excellent as well as service. Definitely worth a try. I do gotta say though the mash potatoes really threw us off lmao”

“I had one of the absolute best rib eye steaks of my life here. I 100% recommend the gorgonzola butter. The green beans are very tasty and delicious. The ladies behind the bar are quick and friendly, and know how to mix a drink.”

“Good food . Fresh and quality . Wonderfull people work here. But both times I went there recently they either served me meat or got my order very wrong ,im vegan and very clear about it . But I guess shrimp is not meat? And in the confusion multiple trips back to the counter to get my order fulfilled. Then the next time a got the 4 taco plate and received tortillas and beans . Nothing else . I gave it back then I never received it again...waited 15 min and asked and he had set it Down near the kitchen thinking I would come find it . Well the warmish tacos were still yummy ....but next time I go I'm checking everything at the time of service”

“delicious. I had combo pizza, garlic dip, & a sprite. the delivery was fast and I had text message alerts so I could know when the pizza was going to show up. easy to order online. edit: I had pan pizza later and it is even better! I love it, it is so delicious and soothing.”

“Absolutely loved this place! The bowls come in a pretty big portion, enough that I have leftovers for another meal. We got the broccoli "beef" and the teriyaki cutlet and both were amazing. The fried oreos were really good too, there's lots of batter surrounding the oreo so they're bigger than I thought they'd be. I'd recommend this place to vegans and non-vegans alike, I think the food would appeal to everyone even if they aren't vegan.”

“I was recommended the chicken shawarma and it was absolutely delicious. I have not eaten many gyro meals in my life but this was absolutely amazing. The chicken, sauce, and picked vegetables all coming together was delicious. I have low tolerance for spice and this was a little spicy but I was honestly worth it. In addition, I got the seasoned fries and it was the perfect thing to get. By eating the fries in between bites of shawarma the seasoned fries acted as a pallet cleanser of sorts allowing me a fresh taste of shawarma at every bite. I for one, am glad for another ethnic restaurant in arcata. I enjoyed eating here and looking at some local hand crafted stamp art on the walls. Please continue to support this local business because I certainly will.”

“Poke bowl and duck confit were both delicious. The lion’s mane mushroom cakes tasted strongly of rancid oil that overpowered the whole dish. They gave us $10 discount but it was a $30 dish and I felt like it should have been comped. We also ordered 4 cocktails, we loved the rose shaped ice cubes. Service was just okay.”

“They are under staffed so be prepared to be patient but the ones who are there are definitely working hard. The food was decent, the chowder was better than I thought it would be after reading some of the reviews. I think a decent amount of items were probably cooked from frozen. Gratuity is added to the bill for parties of 6 plus people and/ or if your bill adds up to at least 200$.”

“Excellent food and cocktails. It was a little confusing how to get in but we parked in the small lot in the back. Out front looked a bit run down and there were a lot of homeless standing around by the front door. We weren’t even sure it was open at first. But once inside you are tasted with a very warm and friendly vibe.”

“We stopped for dinner while in Eureka overnight. The reviews sounded positive and we were hungry! I ordered the Fiesta salad, think Taco Salad. I had grilled chicken on mine, I could have had ground beef. My husband ordered a meat lovers omelet. The wait was a little long, but they were really busy with take out and eat in customers. When our meal arrived I was so pleased with the appearance of my Fiesta salad. But... tonight looks were a bit deceiving. The basis of the salad was very plentiful, but the lettuce was sopping wet and left a weird taste to the entire salad. Like the wash from the lettuce was the flavor. There was no dressing involved, I mixed the toppings to make the taste more enjoyable, but it wasn't much help. The chicken was a mix of slices and cubes of breast, it was a little light, but very flavorful. My husband enjoyed his omelet greatly, but found a weird hard thing in the eggs. I hate to put a good place down, so constructive criticism. The place is good, just needs a little tightening. I want to add an edit here. The owner or someone acting on their behalf offered to comp us a meal of we were still in town, and told me to PM them. I did hoping to catch a quick breakfast on our way out of town. No one answered my pm back and so the chance to fix this was missed.”

“This place has the best Mexican food in all of Eureka. I have eaten in many of the Mexican restaurants in this area, and none have this quality of food. The staff is friendly, helpful, and if you need to practice your Spanish they're more than happy to help you. They don't get offended if you speak Spanish to them, as a non-native speaker. They also provide to the community, so you want to show Community Support this is one of those locally owned restaurants that you want to do business with.”

“This review is long overdue! My bf and I had spent the night in Arcata and decided to grab some breakfast before we left. Wow what a great decision that was. To begin, we walked in and not two mins later there was a line out the door-we missed the crowd. We chatted with the very nice people in line and looked at all the wonderful breads. As we were paying for our bagel sandwiches one of the staff members gives us the loaf of bread we were admiring! Already enjoying the atmosphere that seemed palpably aligned, we ate our food. The bread melted in our mouths, the bagels were delicious and crafted with good ingredients and their chai was the best I’ve ever had. We love this place and think about it often. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks Los Bagels for a wonderful memory.”

“One of the best outdoor eating locations in Arcata. That's not to say they don't have wonderful indoor dining as well they have high ceilings and really good ventilation. Definitely during the pandemic this is an amazing place to eat and feel very comfortable. The burgers are amazing whether you pick chicken veggie or beef. Definitely try their fries and they have an amazing selection of beers, ciders and wine. Head out to the back area and play some cornhole and sit under one of many pergolas. Excellent spot.”

“OMG. I love me some SIZZLET!! Why do people think this place is so bad?! It is FRESH, clean, and consistently good quality food for the price. The Salad Bar has hot wings, mashed taters, Turkey gravy, stuffing, taco meat, two different soups, ice cream, HOT fudge, nuts....too many things to mention! We were just there for SUNDAY BRUNCH!!! Cannot WAIT to go back!”
