“Ordered the Dinner Special Half Duck for 2 people (including one pho and one porridge), the number 7 Co'm Vit (Duck with rice), and the number 6 Pho Mang Vit (Duck rice noodle bamboo shoot). The soup broths were noticeably salty which was unusual according to one of the people in our group; would recommend the restaurant to cut down on the salt. The duck broth elements were there but the soup was just too salty. I really enjoyed the porridge which was all you can eat with the Dinner Special option (pho is also an AYCE option too). The porridge had a nice smooth consistency and had hints of duck broth flavor in it; this also came with two blood cubes buried underneath which was a nice surprise if you like blood cubes. The pho noodles are alright but they do feel a bit firm and could do with softening up a bit more. The duck itself was well seasoned and had good flavor, I would say maybe some of the portions didn't have as much meat on them as we would have liked. Overall, this was a really great place to have a dinner with friends or larger groups. There is enough space in the booths and the tables for a family to enjoy a meal together. Service was very prompt and quick to help tend to any requests. Parking in this area can be busy but there is free street parking nearby too.”

“The place is kind of small and it is a bit pricey. But the taste of the skewers were excellent.”

“Honestly… one of my favorite spots EVER. I used to work at a bar across the way and everyone there put me on… when I tell you I CRAVE this place. Customer service is always excellent. They are seriously so kind. Please give them a try I promise it’s 10000% worth it”

“BETTER THAN WINGSTOP!! The owners/chefs are so kind and helpful when trying to decide what I want to get, he’s very generous and humble. The food is phenomenal believe me when I say it nothing compared to wings stop and their unflavored &dry wings. They put thought in those wings and in their food I’m general I’ve also tried their sliders and pizza and of-course they are top notch. Anyways GO SUPPORT THEY JUST STARTED OUT also they’re next to a bar and serve food for the bar. I got the Korean sweet and spicy. They have a seating area as well and they sell plants how cute 😭”

“The food was good. Just “good”. We had a large party and it was slightly busy. However, had an awesome waitress. She was very pleasant and did so well handling our large party. Although, one waiter was very rude. I understand he was busy but every time he would communicate with me he would respond with an attitude. This was our last stop in California and hoped it was a better experience.”

“Jack's is a step above Norms and 5 steps above house of pancakes. I enjoy their menu which I've had about 5 times and each time I order something different. Service is always friendly, quick and the food is very decent. My son didn't like his steak which probably was frozen cause he said it was a bit Gray in the middle..and He said the consistency was more like a chicken fried steak... I've had that before and had no problem but other than that everything else was good.”

“Got the Colombian burger and it was excellent! Great deal for the price. Neat place and concept. One of the better burgers that I've had in Whittier for sure. Wish they were open a little later!”

“Chill vibes. Isley Brothers and other classic hits in that genre were playing in the background. Lots of Mafia movie references as decor. Cashier was super friendly. Owners seem nice and made sure my food was good. Meatball Sub has a well seasoned Meatball. Well toasted bread. Soft exterior. I believe the crust of pizza is brushed with garlic and butter. Nice mozzarella pull and the pepperoni has a nice kick. Sauce is a bit tangy. Quite different than what I am used to. Fries were pretty standard. They could have been seasoned more. Diet Coke/Coca-Cola is as best as it can be. A slice and a drink is $5 and a Meatball Sub is $7.99 before tax. Could be tough to find parking. 02/01/24: I’m still giving it a four star review. I’ve noticed they did not butter the crust with garlic on my slices. They also gave me a smaller size drink cup.”

“I love this place. La Baja is super convenient for all my truck drivers. This is the best place to get your food. Parking is super convenient. The service is top notch. They will get you in and out. Their Gorditas are the perfect on the go food. I highly recommend the chicharrón verde. But if you’re on the lighter side the vegetation option rajas con queso will not disappoint. Great flavor great price great service and easy access to my truckers on the go.”

“Didn't get food but my friends did. They enjoyed the breakfast burritos and sandwiches. The staff was also very friendly and very helpful. They went above and beyond when I needed help with something personal. The views are beautiful and the restrooms are nice and clean. The fireplace was welcoming and cozy. Cookies were not soft like I was hoping, but my friends still liked them.”

“We flew into Catalina Island for brunch at the Airport in the Sky Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The highlight of our meal was the buffalo burger, which was deliciously juicy and flavorful. The restaurant was bustling with activity, as many hikers were also enjoying the beautiful day. We paid USD 38 for the landing fees, which was reasonable considering the unique location and stunning views. Overall, it was a delightful outing with great food and a lively atmosphere.”

“Good pizza, crust hold up but could also add a bit of chewyness. It's not Bianco pizza but was pretty, pretty, pretty good. Would love if they have some vegan slices as well. We tried the white, vodka and pepperoni. Will definitely go back. I love that location but for some reason every place that open there closes. I hope they survive... good pizza is hard to find.”

“Was passing through on a Sunday afternoon when the Wife and I searched for Thai lunch...ran across this quaint place. Food came out hot and fresh. Quality and quantity were good for the price and the presentation was quite surprising... well done (see photos). Service was friendly and quite hospitable. This place is quite small, so it is recommended to either call for takeout or show up in small groups of 4 or less as seating is very limited, but quite a treat for the sitdown service. We had Pad Thai and Pad See ew and Thai Tea. Definitely recommend and we will be back.”

“Ordered to go for lunch. The food has a great flavor. I do wish they had a special salad dressing other than just the norms. We then went back for dinner and it was delicious. I had the number 11 and we also had Don Ricardo’s burrito. Both were absolutely amazing so much food. I had to save it till the next day and even reheating it the next day the food tasted very very good I would absolutely be going back and would recommend”

“A small semi fast food style Vietnamese restaurant. You can tell the majority are local customers. Price is reasonable and taste as usual Vietnamese Pho. Egg rolls were pretty good. Wrap with lettuce, carrot, cilantro and dip in fish sauce. Good combination that enhance all flavors. Even a semi fast food style restaurant, customer service was friendly. There was no tips section when process the credit cards machine. Then we put 18% tip on the table.”

“As soon as we walked in we were kindly greeted and we chose a table to sit at. The atmosphere was nice and clean with music playing not too loud but good background music. The waitress was very friendly and quick to take our orders. The food came out pretty quick also. There are vegan and vegetarian options, if you ask them to make it. We ordered the pancakes, with no butter and fruit sauce on the side, and a side of hash browns with sautéed veggies on the side. The food was delicious and nicely presented. I highly recommend for anybody to come and eat here, nice family environment. We will definitely be back.”

“Just recently moved back to California and my first Mexican taco experience in 10 years was with these beautiful people! I'm so very pleased. They make the food right in front of you and you dress it yourself! Perfect experience! I'm so happy when I get to this place. They're one of the best street vendors I have ever had food from. They have my heart! Love them so much!”
