“We've been going to Blue Coyote for years. There are plenty of TVs tuned to various sporting events; something for everyone. The other day, I think one display was actually tuned to a movie. For someone who doesn't follow sports, that was nice to see. The wooden benches are roomy and allow for big groups to gather. We always sit there instead of the high tables with equally high chairs. Those are just too...high. I feel like I would be on display. Good for people watching, I suppose. The bar seems adequately stocked. The food is average to good (burgers are tasty) and the service is always friendly. A neighborhood institution. (Can get noisy when it is packed and is moderately priced - split the burger to save money.)”

“Excellent place... We had the Cajun BBQ Shrimp appetizer, and the brisket sandwich, with fries. The shrimp dish was a bit sweeter than we're used to for that dish, but was still very good. The brisket sandwich was great, super tender and well smoked, and was not smothered with too much sauce the way some places do. The fries were excellent... Crisp on the outside, tender inside, well seasoned. Service was attentive and prompt. Really enjoyed this place!”
