“Exceptional Service. We went for Dim Sum this morning for the first time at Diamond Palace and will definitely go back in addition to recommending to others. The establishment was clean and tidy. Well lit and welcoming. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. They definitely care about customer service and making sure that their diners' have an enjoyable experience. Multiple languages spoken including English, Spanish, and Chinese (not sure if Cantonese or Mandarin). I was with my service dog and there weren't any issues. Harley just laid beside my chair and the staff were aware of where he was and made sure not to disturb either of us. Diverse menu including a picture menu which is awesome. I have enjoyed traditional dim sum for over forty years and the food at Diamond Palace was tasty. I prefer a different type of crust for my egg tarts but it was still good. We had Rice Rolls (BBQ Pork and Shrimp) along with the other favourites. Water and Tea service was not slow. Luis made sure that you did not want for water long if you did drink it all before he came around again. The reason it cost us $20 - $30 per person is that we eat a lot so don't let that be a deterrent. Overall I would rate Service at 5+ Stars and Food 4+ Stars”

“Great service, great food and great experience! We had my baby shower at Verbena Kitchen and had the most amazing time. We loved that this restaurant provides a one-stop shop without the stress and hassle of hosting your own event. They took care of food, drinks, venue, plates, glassware and the best part is that their menu is customizable according to the season. They were super flexible with how I wanted things set up and with bringing my own flowers. Dallas, the GM, was so sweet and helpful. He provided great service and had such a good attitude! “This unique take on European bistro is a really cool experience, and makes for a great date night experience that feels away from the bustle of the city. Nestled in a street side corner, there is both indoor and outdoor seating right on the sidewalk. The service was excellent, and the venue had a relaxed candle-lit feel to it. I would recommend making a reservation if you’re planning on eating here! For food, we ordered their namesake snack - the wolf in the woods cheese platter, and it was incredible. They curated a great selection of cheeses and crackers/bread to enjoy. I highly recommend this snack. We also ordered Their yellowtail aqua Chile tostada to share. For our entrees, we ordered the duck & three sisters as well as their N.M. Skillet Mini Burger. Both were delicious, the duck was some of the best I’ve had in San Diego, and the burger was incredible. For its small size, the quality and flavor was definitely present. For dessert we ordered the Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta. All the food was delicious and well made.”

“I had drove by this place many times and finally decided to try it out today. The shop is small with very little seating but I highly recommend you stop here. The restaurant has a very pleasing rice smell as app nas you walk in. I ordered chicken Pad Thai and it was just as I remember it from my trip to Phuket. I have to try the rest of the menu. The food was delicious! The staff were very friendly and I will definitely come back. Prices are a little higher than some competitors but worth it for the food quality. Give this place a try!”

“OMG STOP WITH THE BELL!!! Food was fast and fine, but I was there maybe 3-4 min and that bell ringing everytime they had new food ready for buffet line I was done... I can only imagine how the employees feel about it over an 8 hour shift 5 days a week. Sure I guess management thinks it showcases speed and enthusiasm but it just sounds like the crack of the whip.. “My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience on Sunday afternoon. The decor was very nice, a big upgrade from the prior ownership of Smash Burger. I like how they have outside patio seating, and they are dog friendly after asking the server. I ordered the Chicken Udon soup and it was delicious and served hot and spicy as I wanted it! My wife ordered a couple of the speciality rolls that were excellent. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely be returning in the future.”

“The quality is consistent with the company standards but the choices at this location are pretty limited. That includes the beverages as well as the pastries. The other thing that we noticed was that there is shortage of staff, as many businesses are currently experiencing. There was only one barista trying to help a healthy line of people and the poor girl was struggling. I have to give it to her though, she managed! Location is convenient but parking is very limited, especially after hours and weekends. The shop has 2 assigned parking spaces - one on the side and one in the back, so check those first. Not many people know about that.”

“Rie and Dave were very friendly and attentive. The entire 6 course meal was great! The corn fritters were savory and paired so well with the sweet salsa that accompanied it. The salad was refreshing, the gohu ikan was like poke tostadas with fried wonton as the base and was so good. The ayam rica-rica was the main which was a chicken dish that had a vegitable/ oyster red sauce with amazing spicy sambal chili's. Of course the dessert was great, but my favorite was the soup. It was delicate and complex, and the noodles added the perfect texture”
