“The ambiance of the outside dining area was pretty. Food serving was huge. I had the breakfast burrito which appears to be a "super burrito ". The coffee was good but not great. My daughter ordered coffee cake which was still warm and taste homemade. The service was excellent except for one thing. The man (owner) was not wearing gloves and touced the food he brought to our table. He balanced the burrito by placing both his thumbs on the burrito itself while walking with the plate. Then when we asked for an extra plate, he brought it to our table as if holding a notebook. He was very pleasant and wearing a mask but did not really practice CDC recommendations when it comes to contamination. I may not visit again until this pandemic is over.”

“This was a great place to have a dinner with the family when they had dining. The Sea Bass was excellent, as well as the lamb and steak. We tried Escargot for the first time and it was pretty tasty! “It was a bit confusing at first on the menu, duos- trios. I got the duo's and it was more than enough food. I had the Cubano and would highly recommend. I also had the dirty bird..it was delicious but the BBQ sauce was too sweet for me. Excellent service from Julia...everything was spectacular. Definitely would recommend.”

“What an experience. The place and the views are already stunning. Add the outstanding service by Matt with the great wines and it’s already a fantastic afternoon. But there is also the kitchen ... The burrata salad is an explosion of flavors, rich and satisfying. The salmon is cooked to perfection. And the board of cheeses and charcuterie is very nicely selected and superbly accompanied by preserved figs, cornichons and shallot jam. To finish we had the chocolate mint ice cream, delicious with a hint of lavender.”

“We visited the San Simeon Beach Bar and Grill multiple times during our week long stay in San Simeon. All the dishes we tried had good flavor, portion sizes were big, and the service was good. Breakfast burrito was large enough for 2 meals, the french toast was not soggy, sides of bacon and sausage were good sized. The ABC burger was executed well and most of the pasta dishes were flavorful. The staff was friendly and accommodating during our visits. They have indoor and patio seating.”
