“Had some quick takeaway for some delicious noodles and wasn't disappointed by far! Very reasonable price for how much you get! The wait wasn't that long either and the staff person I spoke to for a little was very nice as well. ^^”

“The Chrysanthemum tea starts things off nicely, and then it's a journey of really tasty flavors. The Chicken Feet with Black Bean Sauce is a great way to begin, offering a mix of textures and yummy flavors. The Spear Ribs with Black Bean Sauce stand out with just the right amount of seasoning, not too salty. The Shrimp Dumplings are a real treat. The wrapper is perfect—thin and loaded with tasty shrimp. The Siu Mai with Shrimp Roe, even though it looks a bit funny, is really flavorful and enjoyable. The Baked BBQ Pork Buns steal the spotlight with their tasty seasoned pork inside a slightly sweet and crispy bun. Each bite is full of flavor and texture. While the BBQ Rice Noodle Rolls are just okay, the overall experience at Yan Peninsula is outstanding.”

“First time going in and I had such a great experience. They have a kids corner and my toddler loved it. The women on the register, who I assume is the owner was very sweet and easy to talk to. I really enjoyed this place and plan to come back. Can't forget the food and coffee. Mexican mocha was to die for. 10/10.”

“High-quality, reasonably priced halal butcher — sourcing their product from all-natural, Amish farms. An excellent choice for the mindful cook, but not wanting to break the bank. On a recent visit, leg of lamb was expertly butterflied and cut into kebab pieces. The store is a well-packed source of spices, sauces, pickles, yoghurts and cheeses — anything you may want for a Middle Eastern or South Asian meal. Cheap metal bbq skewers in stock. Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“The best northeast Chinese food restaurant in Bay Area. Although it’s very far from my home, we caught any chance to enjoy the foods here. GuoBaorou is very authentic, steamed beef tendon w garlic sauce reminds me of my grandpa’s recipes, LiuRouduan and Dalapi is also amazed.”

“Wonderful place for breakfast and/or a coffee! They also have great smoothies!! We stopped here before going to the airport in SF! We easily found parking on the street and our food came out quickly! We both got the “American breakfast” with bacon and it was delicious! My white mocha was also great and they were able to make it with a single shot vs the standard 2 (watching my caffeine because I’m pregnant)!”

“Saap Thai is delicious! My partner and I stopped in for lunch while our running errands and were quite pleased with our choice. I got the cashew nut chicken lunch special, which comes in a great portion with a side salad, rice and fried egg. I also got a thai tea. Service was great, too! Our server was very kind and attentive. We would absolutely come back!”

“The sheer number of options here can be overwhelming, as they serve a plethora of traditional Chinese desserts from hot soups to cakes and drinks and other pastries. Tables are spaced on each side of the building and one can order from the QR codes on the table. There is a restroom in the back of the store that one can go to after requesting for the bathroom key! Given the small space, it can be a little crowded and chaotic.”

“This place is a perfect choice for late-night BBQ and skewers. The flavors hit just the right note, and you’re given peppers, salt, and hot peppers to adjust the seasoning to your liking. I particularly recommend the chicken skin and the beef artery. These items are notoriously difficult to prepare well and can easily be ruined, but this restaurant handles them masterfully! The chicken skins are crispy without being oily, and the beef artery is tender yet soft—an impressive feat. Considering the quality, everything is priced very reasonably, especially given the Bay Area location. The lamb and seafood options are equally delicious. I can’t think of anything I would advise you to avoid. I will definitely be coming back!”

“Awesome little joint! It’s called Texas BBQ but it’s actually quite authentic for its Chinese Northwestern / Halal style BBQ and other dishes. Make sure to get the meat burger & lamb skewer & lamb offal soup, so good!”

“Stumbled upon this gem while looking for placed to have breakfast near by our motel. I highly reccomend one of their breakfast sandwiches on a croissant! They were huge! I had a latte which was delicious as well. We ordered a Vietnamese sandwich and a chocolate croissant for later. They were so good as well. The bakery was very clean. The guy running the front (I am assuming he is the owner) was so friendly. I wish i was able to try all of the things. If I ever find myself traveling back to SanFrancisco I would make it a point to come back to get some breakfast”

“This place earns 5 stars for everything! First of all, the decoration and walls are so pretty. It is a clean and well organized place! Second, our waiter, Alina, was super sweet and welcoming, she is an awesome waiter! Third, the food was delicious, words cannot describe how fresh and well seasoned everything was. Overall, I definitely recommend coming here for a nice dine in.”

“The dinner experience at The Landing was a pleasant surprise. We went in without much expectations only because we were staying at their hotel. However the food was delicious and the service was extraordinary at fairly decent prices. The wild mushroom soup and garlic shrimp are must try. Chicken wings was good. Butter chicken was ok but not very appealing to my Indian expectations.”

“I found a cute Japanese oden pop-up in the Bay Area, but it's only open until October. Suddenly remembered the childhood joy of eating hot pot skewers from street vendors and couldn't resist the temptation! Excitedly drove there with my buddies. The shop's sign is a black and white circle , which took me a moment to spot. Inside, there's a large bar area with a great atmosphere, but not many seats. I went on a Sunday and waited for about 15 minutes. 🌟 They offer set menus and à la carte options. You can also mix and match. I went for all à la carte since the set included rice and I wanted udon noodles. 🌟 Vegetables: ▫️ Radish (a must-have for hot pot) ▫️ Mochi (outer layer is tofu skin, inside is mochi, quite fun) ▫️ Buttered potatoes (butter-fried potatoes with mayo, a pub-style dish) 🌟 Meat: ▫️ Pork sausages (a must-order, the highlight!) ▫️ Beef tongue (decent) ▫️ Beef tendon (tender and melts in the mouth) ▫️ Chicken wings (not recommended, has a chicken odor) ▫️ Soft-boiled egg (quite good!) 🌟 Seafood: ▫️ Cod puffs (delicious, reminiscent of tamago-yaki) 🌟 Sides: ▫️ Udon noodles (I skipped the set menu for this bowl of noodles! They're chewy, and I finished the soup too) ▫️ Chicken karaage (with mayo, but it's average, not recommended) Two people spent a little over $80. Set menus are slightly cheaper. Personally, I found it a lot of fun. It's been a while since I had oden and this was a good experience! It feels like a mix of fine dining without the high cost!”

“I was craving Chinese braised beef noodles and came across this shop on Google maps. It’s fairly new restaurant, but already very popular place. When I went in around 5:40PM on Saturday the store was filling up, and by the time we were leaving there where people waiting for tables. It’s fairly a large dining area if I were to guess it seats maybe 50-75(or more?) people. We ordered the spicy House special beef noodle, and the spare rib noodle. Also ordered the shrimp, pork chive and egg dumplings and Xiao long bao. First off the Xiao long bao was very good. Juicy and as I would expect a Xiao long bao should be. Next the noodles. The soup and noodles were very basic as you you would expect at any decent noodle shops. The braised beef was very good, the other meats were not as good as the braised beef. What I’m saying is that if I was to order, I’d only want the braised beef. The soup wasn’t very spicy and I ended up adding more chili oil to it. The dumpling were as I would expect at any decent restaurant. The hardest part is to decide on which one to order. Finally, this place doesn’t serve free tea, However they have selection of tea that you can choose from. I already forgot which tea we ordered, it was good, but I like dumpling places that give you free tea. The restaurant was packed all with Asian people, mostly Chinese, It must be a good sign of quality of the food they serve there. Updates menu prices added with my photos. Friendly staff, plenty parking, I would go back when I crave noodles and dumplings as it is fairly close to my family’s home.”

“The rice cake dish was pretty good, but the beef bone noodle soup was the problem, the bones looked and tasted like it was used to cook broth before so the meat didn’t have much flavor, and the meat on the bone wasn’t as tender as I thought it would be. But the workers are nice and service is good”

“It’s great! Really nice service. Dessert was so nice! They have a good amount of portion too! I was very full when I left there. The environment is cozy and it’s quiet :) good for a date or anniversary event.”
