The service was a bit slow but that's because they were new, still trying to figure it out. The manager (I forgot her name) was very nice to us; we are already planning our return!”

“Along with some of the best cold pressed juice you’ll ever have, you’ll get friendly service from whoever is in the truck. I’ve tried several juices so far, and they were all delicious, fresh, and very healthy. It’s exactly what you expect when you think of cold pressed juice. They also make their own flavored almond milk that you can add to cold brew coffee if you need some caffeine. Their juice and milk menu changes for the seasons too! It’s just clear they are passionate about what they do, and it shows in the product. This place doesn’t miss. Highly recommended.”

“Archie’s Branford, after much anticipation, now open! And the Archie’s team did not disappoint. Although it was a very busy first week, we were made to feel most welcome with each visit. The pleasant staff went out of their way to get us seated comfortably as quickly as possible. It is a warm and friendly atmosphere, very clean, with excellent bartenders and wait staff. We sampled several of the menu items, and everything was delicious: nachos, burgers, fries, and of course, WINGS! We love this place, our new neighborhood pub, and plan to be back often…..”

“Got the jerk chicken and beef patties for the first time ever today and I kid you not, this is THE BEST chicken I've ever had. Full of flavor, perfect amount of spicy, comes off the bone with no effort and it's so soft. Will definitely be coming back for more and will be spreading the word about this place. This was my first experience at the Wallingford site and it did not disappoint. They still have the best cheese dogs and french fries!!! The service was excellent!!! “The Lodge at Silver Sands - a newly opened hidden gem in East Haven with a menu full of delicious comfort food and unique entrees, 10/10 presentation on dishes, and a cozy vibe. We visited last night and started off with appetizers of the maple buffalo and garlic parm wings, as well as their honey bourbon mozzarella sticks. The wings were crispy and a great size, and the homemade pesto sauce with the garlic parm wings was a nice touch. I had never tried a mozzarella stick with a sweet flavor like honey bourbon before, and I was really impressed! My boyfriend took down “The Beast” burger for his meal, which is one pound of pure Omaha beef, topped with applewood smoked bacon, beer cheese sauce, and the Lodge’s homemade maple buffalo sauce. It was cooked perfectly to medium rare as he requested, and he would gladly take down another one! I had their mac and cheese, and I loved that they used shells for pasta and that it was served in a cast iron pot. You could definitely taste the beer used in the cheese, but it was a great flavor that I enjoyed. We ended the night with their homemade tiramisu and left very full and happy. They have a huge fireplace that will be nice to cozy up by in the winter months, TVs for you to watch the game, and a bar with a wide variety to choose from! My boyfriend chose Oban 14 year whisky with his meal. You don’t have to be a member of the Silver Sands club to dine here, so head down to East Haven - The Lodge is waiting for you!”
