“Don't miss stopping for lunch, brunch or dinner at George & Sandy's! It is located near Bailey's Grocery Store on the corner. Our Hotel recommended G&S to us after we checked in and said we were starving. Arrived around 5pm and the restaurant was fairly empty so, we were seated right away. G&S is like a Sports Bar/Restaurant combo. Our server Catherine was prompt and friendly. My son and I both ordered a cup of the Clam Chowder. YUMMO! I could've taken a gallon to go, it was that good. My son ordered the Shrimp Poor Boy and I had the Mediterranean Snapper. Both dishes were plentiful and well prepared. Avoid the crowds and long lines at the "tourist restaurants" and dine where the locals go. I'm still savoring the yummy Clam Chowder.”

“The service was great - we have a 2yo and as soon as we sat down they had our waters and a juice for our son. Didn't even have to ask. They immediately grabbed his food order so they could be prepping his dinner while we browsed the menu. We ordered and his food came out, which he ate most of (I tried it and it was yummy). The adults had lobster, lobster roll, and Ipswich fried clams. All were great. The live music was really nice - just the right volume, playing good renditions of classic rock. But the biggest impression was the amazing attention given to our toddler. Never been to a restaurant so in tune with the needs of a toddler and family, making everyone's experience better. I want to thank you guys so much for that!”

“9/30/19 - This was our first visit to Lazy Flamingo. My wife ordered the Caesar Salad with Mesquite-Grilled Chicken Breast and I had the Big Burger Burger. Both were very good. But the Buffalo Wings (hot) were the best that we ever had. Hands down... the Best! Highly recommended. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. We will be back.”

“Dairy Queen is one of my favorite spots. I'm not a nut about them but we don't have many around so when I see a Dairy Queen, I tend to stop and have a blizzard or a sundae. This particular DQ was very nice and the employees were super nice. It was a bit difficult to turn left to leave their parking lot so I suggest taking a right and spinning around. It will save you some time.”

“This is by far the best place on the island to get breakfast. The menu goes for more than just breakfast but this with the location we always went to first thing in the morning. They have very cozy seating inside and out, a great menu selection, super friendly and fast service that is really accurate with the order. Everything that we ordered came out hot and fresh exactly as he wanted and it was only about $10 a person to get a nice breakfast here. We have no complaints at all and absolutely recommend this location to everyone. When we are back on the island we will definitely go here again. Love it!”

“My husband Russ and I love to come to the island. We used to love the previous Jacaranda, so we wanted to see what the new place was like. We can definitively say The Jac is one of our favorite places in the Island now. The food was exquisite!!! The seafood risotto was out of this world. Sea scallops, crab meat, mussels and shrimp. A seafood lover's delight. The shrimp and scallops fettuccine was also delicious. Server Shaun was very nice. Congratulations to the chef. Beautiful place also. Understated elegance with upscale food. New favorite place!!!!”

“Traditions on the Beach was closed during our stay at Island Inn in September, 2019. However the Inn prepared a comprehensive list of highly recommended table fare near the Inn. So we love Sushi and decided on Timbers. Definitely, definitely, definitely the place to go for FANTASTIC Sushi and other fine Seafood or Turf selections. My wife, Ashley chose the California Roll and Oysters Rockefeller I chose the Tuna Poke with Shrimp Tempura roll our first night. The following night I had Spicy Tuna and the Shrimp Tempura again and Ashley did a repeat of the previous meal. KUDOS to their Sushi chef...excellent and professional service too. Will definitely recommend this Fine Establishment to Family and friends.”

“I have been visiting the Sanibel Cafe for years. The food is delicious and different. This visit I split the Breakfast Quesadilla with a friend. Large enough portion to share. I also love their Coconut French Toast and they have many interesting sandwiches or wraps for lunch. Fresh ingredients and homemade jam. The prices are reasonable, especially for Sanibel and the service is excellent. Highly recommend.”

“This was quite the hidden gem during our stay on Captiva. The food was exquisite, delivered hot, pasta fresh having been made just 10 minutes before. Dylan (who waited on us) was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, always helpful without being overbearing even when we were one of just a few couples at dinner early.
