“The Dude abides... Wrapping up a trip to Bloomington with Keg Grove was a great end point to a day trip. A coworker who used to live in Bloomington suggested this place and since they had fruity beer, it took no convincing Emily to swing by there with me. We walked in and it was packed. There was a retirement party going on that kept the single bartender busy with not just them but also slinging drinks behind the bar. We didn't have to wait too long to grab my beer and Emily's flight. We took a seat over by the sweet The Big Lebowski beer tanks. That's right, the beer tanks had Donny, Walter and The Dude from The Big Lebowski on it. I included a photo of the tanks below. I'm not a diehard fan of the movie but I can appreciate this homage for what it is. After being a bit let down at Lil Beaver Brewery, Keg Grove hit it home. The beers we ordered were exactly was we expected them to taste like based on their names. Mine was a Holey Jeans (blueberry wheat) and Emily's flight was Holey Jeans, Cotton Dress Pants (peach wheat), Keg Grove Cream Ale, and Cupcheck (pilsner). Emily and I really liked the Holey Jeans and she especially liked the Cotton Dress. Since I was driving, I stuck to just the one beer but Emily grabbed a coozie, a 16 oz. Cotton Dress, we both grabbed some stickers and a magnet and headed outside. While she was enjoying her last beer before we left, it started pouring down. Everyone booked it inside but we stood under the canopy to avoid the loud crowd inside. My only issue with Keg Grove was the single bartender. Not sure if it was busier than normal but for a Friday and a retirement party booking the upstairs area, I feel like they should've had two working. But I will say that the one working was very peppy and was slinging drinks without seemingly stressing out. Until next time Donny, Walter and The Dude.”

“Genesis helped us at the counter and was very helpful! As a Type One diabetic, it is so nice to have someone else take care to make sure I'm getting the correct sugar-free option! I'm sorry that I don’t know the names of the other two who were working but they got our drinks and food out to us very quickly and made it exactly right. I also saw them wiling down their work area between every drink and the Starbucks overall was as sparkling, thank you for your great service today!”

“Unique and delicious dishes! I'm a big fan of bruschetta and these didn't disappoint. The garlic bites were incredible. Everyone was super nice!”

“Revery did not disappoint!! The food was just incredible. The ricotta was delicious, and the salmon was very well cooked! The steak was also cooked perfectly and very flavorful. And the creme brulee... 👌 So excited to have another new nice restaurant in town!”

“We ordered for the first time in the hope of finding a new place. We order 2 combos. Unfortunately, we received our sandwiches and drinks without fries. We called to get it corrected but could only leave a message. They made it right!!”

“With them, I had a fantastic experience and got fantastic results. The agents were fantastic to work with. They were friendly, knowledgable, personable, and always available. They are familiar with the area and the market, as evidenced by the fact that my condo was sold in less than a week. I enthusiastically endorse them and will gladly recommend them to friends and colleagues.”

“I have heard great things about The Love Shack and decided to stop in to try it out. The woman at the counter was very pleasant and greeted me as I walked in and took my order. I tried the Apple Butter Pork Chop Sando with Truffle fries and a Mexican Coke. The sandwich was really good due to the vanilla wafer breading and the apple butter but I kind of wish I added some lettuce and tomato on it. The shoe string Truffle Fries I thought were just okay. I should have had the Orzo Pasta Salad or the Street Corn Salad instead of fries with my sandwich. Although I liked my food it was just too much fried food. I swear I could feel my arteries harden as I ate my meal. The service was great and I received my food lightning fast. With tip my meal was close to $30 and that's quite a bit for a pork chop sandwich with fries and a coke especially for one person. In my opinion this did not taste like a $30 meal. I know that The Love Shack has ties with the Pop-Up Chicken Shop which I thoroughly enjoy so I was hoping it would taste just as good. I'm not giving up on The Love Shack though. I think the next time I go back there I'll try their Patty Melt.”

“Korean Fried Chicken! Yes, please! I arrived in Bonchon at 4:30pm to avoid the dinner rush. I was pleasantly greeted and seated by the hostess. We talked for a moment to learn that Bonchon has been open for only a week and business has been doing well. I was there to try what Bonchon is known for and that is their Korean Fried Chicken. I treated myself to the small order of half - half boneless wings. It was a total of 12 wings and 6 were soy garlic and the other 6 were a tangy Asian sauce which wasn't on the menu and a side of coleslaw. Of course I had to have Sapporo beer to wash it all down. The chicken had an awesome extra crunch and was flavorful but not overpowering. The chicken, although double fried, didn't seem greasy at all. The cost of my meal was $23.22 and I added a $5 tip. Bottom line was the meal worth it for the money? I would say "yes". The great service and the good food will definitely have me back again. They do have a menu that had other Korean delicacies which I should have taken pics of but I'll do that next time when I'm back at Bonchon.”

“It’s difficult for me to get to the store as often as I would like but I love stopping at their booth at the Farmer’s Market. The rose pistachio bread was so beautiful I had to try it! Delicious! Chocolate Babka was also amazing. Both are now competing with the cinnamon bread for family favorite. The staff at the booth are also friendly and patient with questions.”

“I’m not sure if this was a recent change, or if staff was just uninformed of bowling options, but this bowling trip was very expensive for our group of 7. My family came to visit me and we were looking for something fun to do together. My dad asked how bowling is handled at this alley and we were told you pay by the hour. According to other reviews, this doesn’t seem to have always been the case. We proceeded to play for an hour and, with a group of seven, two being kids, it’s no surprise there was lots of downtime between bowlers and ultimately ate away at our hour of play. Giving 3 stars because the kids had lots of fun in the arcade!”

“I had the Cubano and it was right up my alley! It had tangy relish, mustard, and was served on sourdough bread. The tots were nice and crispy. I'm excited to try other things here! They have limited vegetarian options for now.”

“All of the food was amazing and the service was even better. I picked up my food late and they even offered to remake certain items so everything would be fresh and hot. I kept the original food and even at room temp, it's delicious!”

“Do yourself a favor: don't finish reading this or other reviews - just go to Nom Nom Noodle now. Seriously, it's that good. It's everything I've ever wanted out of a ramen restaurant. I got their chicken ramen and it was INCREDIBLE, even as takeout. The chicken was supremely juicy and tender and the rest of the ramen was just as good. The potstickers were also good, but the star of the show was the ramen. Just to die for. I'll be a frequent customer.”

“I haven't been in a Panda Express since I was a teenager in L.A. and since the one on Market St recently opened I dropped in. I got there right at 10:30am which is when they opened and the food was just being brought up hot and ready to serve. As you walk in the entire group behind the counter greets you with a great big "HELLO". The employees and the cashier are very friendly with smiles on their faces. I had the Honey Walnut Shrimp & Beijing Beef along with Fried Rice & Lo Mein and an Egg Roll. The two entrees were flavorful but I didn't like the fried rice or the lo mein. I did leave the restaurant pretty stuffed since the portions were kind of big. Overall I would give Panda Express 3 1/2 stars and for my money I would rather spend it at my local favorites such as Chi Family Express or Szechuan Chinese Restaurant.”

“The food here is great! We went here on opening day, I got 3 different tacos (perfect way to try different meats to determine the quality/taste) and my SO got a burrito and a pupusa. Overall we both agreed that the Carne Asada is really good, tastes different than other steak tacos/burritos in this area but that is a good thing. It reminds me of a great taco spot in Chicago which is a compliment! The inside of the restaurant is relatively small so we got food to go and still the quality is up to standards. Fair warning, the parking lot this restaurant is located in is very dark at night so I hope the property owners/city of BLM decide to install overhead lights soon.”

“If you can find it, you'll love it. It's small and hometown. The service is wonderful and the food is well priced. They have the best waffle fries! Definitely get cheese to dip them in! I had the spotted dog, I'm not a fan of peppers and onions, the waitress suggested cut up pickles! It was just right. My buddy had their grilled cheese with 4 different types of cheese which was cooked perfect. Definitely worth it.”

“Outstanding experience! Very glad we stopped in here. We were actually heading somewhere else, they were closed, and we randomly found this gem! It's a great bar experience with a number of things to play. Now, the reason this deserved five stars and then some. The server, Elvis, was hilarious and had outstanding recommendations. And when the food came out, it did not disappoint! Every thing we ate was absolutely delicious, and cooked perfectly. I will be back for certain. Thank you!”

“Menu options includes food you can find pretty much at any other food joint in town. Just average pub food. The prices were wayyyy too high for the food they were offering! Overall my food was cooked well, tasted decent, and my server was really friendly and attentive. Wondering how long this business will survive in this town!”

“Waited an hour for my $15 meal, not taking points off for that tho since it was their first day. Plantains were cold, but were pretty good. I intended to get jerk chicken, but they were out so I settled for curry chicken. It was good. Mac n cheese was veryyyyy disappointing. I’ve had better from the walmart deli. And the portion for the price is not okay at all.”
