“Spouse and I went to Freddy's as an alternative to that place of the red-haired girl in the same shopping center that does not usually have indoor dining. Freddy's DID! Went there about 1:00 in the afternoon on a Tuesday in March - they were still getting the kinks worked out. Restaurant was full. Few seats but tables were clean. I got the Bacon & Cheese Double Steakburger, the spouse got a Patty Melt. We split an order of REAL Onion Rings (YUM!) as well as a regular Vanilla Concrete with Banana topping - spouse remarked that spouse could have had a large Concrete as a meal. Concrete was delivered first, as it was for other tables - kept us entertained while waiting for main meal. Because of crowd, expect to wait for your food.”

“My family loved Clara B's! We went for a birthday lunch for my grandma and found out while there and from reading a magazine article about the restaurant that the style inside is called "hipster grandma," so we chose the right spot for lunch with our hipster grandma. 👵😆 The food was INCREDIBLE! Probably the best I've ever eaten in Downtown Belleville. It's authentic southern cooking, the biscuits tasted exactly like my Texan mother-in-law's. I hope this place gets more press and is successful. The last several businesses in this location failed quickly. But I'm eager to see an already successful business and delicious menu thrive here in town. I had the minestrone with gnocchi and grilled cheese and plan on getting the turkey cranberry brie toasted sandwich next time. I plan on going back next week because I just know that sandwich will taste like Thanksgiving and it's making my mouth water just thinking about it. The other meal pictured is the loaded breakfast burrito.”

“I was so hungry I did not take a pic of my loaded baked potato before I dug into it. It was ginormous with all the buttery, cheesy, sour creamy goodness you could want. It was piping hot and delicious. Update: Have tried the potato skins with cheddar cheese, single gyro (lots of tender meat and soft pita), and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Fantastic!”

“Uncle Nick's Deli is in an old Subway building located right next to Denny's. I never see anyone in the parking lot and fear they aren't getting the business they need to stay open, which is unfortunate because their sandwiches are delicious! The deli is right off the highway, which would make you think it's a prime location. But it's actually a little difficult to access. I've seen the deli for a couple of years and didn't have a real interest in trying it out (only because I don't frequent delis). But then my daughter's boyfriend pointed it out the other day and said that they make the BEST italian sandwich in the world. So my husband and I went back the next day for lunch and ordered the italian and turkey bacon ranch club. You can request your sandwich be toasted (just like at Subway), which I highly recommend. When we finished lunch, we agreed that the sandwiches were better than Subway's, but not better than Penn Station's. However, you might spend a bit more if you go to Penn Station and you're supporting a small business here. I'll be back and will hopefully try their homemade potato salad.”

“Went with the family on a Sunday shortly after noon and the place was packed! They opened one week before we went and the town is still excited about having an A&W in the area. The workers were kind and helpful. Table service is a nice surprise in a fast food restaurant and the woman who brought our food even came by later to ask if everything tasted good. I had a hotdog and a root beer float in a tall mug. I enjoyed every bite, as did the rest of the family. Since this restaurant is housed in an old bank, they left the vault door that leads into what looks like what will become a small arcade with a trophy case housing A&W memorabilia. And the old bank's drive through is a similar setup to a diner you'd see in Happy Days where they put the order number tag on the outside of your window and they walk the food out go the customer- similar to Sonic.”

“4204 is my favorite restaurant to go in the Metro East area. Their food is phenomenal (try the ribeye), their service is friendly, and their craft beer is delicious. You can really experience several types of atmospheres here depending on what you’re feeling. The restaurant itself feels like exactly that. Want a bit of a more relaxed/lively vibe? Their enclosed patio is there. Finally, best of the best, their beer garden during the spring, summer, and fall is THE spot to be. I can’t recommend 4204 enough. Whether you bring kids or come as a couple, you’ll enjoy it.”

“I recently got to stock up on some juice from Juice Heal Thrive when I visited their booth at the Vine Street Market in O'Fallon, IL. I bought the Green Delight, Heart Beet, Sweet Heat & Organic Celery Juice as well as a DELICIOUS raw vegan donut. The donuts are so rich and decadent! (I had the one with the coconut on top, but there were sprinkle topped ones also!) I savored every last bite! The juices are a great substitute for that something sweet that I crave in the afternoon, and I love starting my day with one to flood my body with nutrients! Their business is in Belleville and they do weekly deliveries around the area as well. Try them out, you will love them!”

“I had a great time! The place is very family-friendly. They have all kinds of stuff to do, so be prepared to spend a long part of the day there. Their Nursery is gorgeous and the prices are fair. They also have a cute souvenir store and marketing with a bakery inside and an area for cooking classes. They sell everything, like deli, wine, beer, coffee, soap, snacks, jelly, bread, baked meals, and of course produce. They have samples available around the store. They also have a restaurant and an ice cream store. We tried the vanilla ice cream cone, it was delicious. We collected peaches and blueberries, they were very good and sweet. The sunflower maze is fantastic, very beautiful! I took so many cool pictures! Make sure to bring sunscreen, they have plenty of ice-cold water available pretty much everywhere. Only seen one bathroom, the only reason I gave four stars instead of five.”
