“Anna loves BBQ , I rarely don’t finish my plate, I didn’t finish this one. Let’s talk about why they only got three stars . The corn had cheese in it but not good cheese. The fries were steak fries. Plain steak fries. I had the burnt end which were delicious but overall not worth the 18$ I paid for my plate meal. My 14 year old devoured his Turkey sandwich and fries but let’s face it, he would of devoured a McDonald’s meal too. So for the price vs the quality of food for me not worth it .”

“My wife and I ate here for our annual New Year's Eve dinner. It wasn't the first time we've eaten aJ. Alexander's either. Just like every other time, they brought their A-game. The salad are all mixed and tossed, steaks were cooked perfectly, their Mac & Cheese is heavenly and the side of broccoli was perfectly cooked through but still had a little crunch to the stalk. My hat's off to the kitchen staff! Every time we have visited, the wait staff is friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. They always seem to know exactly when to stop at the table for a drink refresher or the next course of the meal without making you wait to long or hovering. Also, unlike most other restaurants we have visited on NYE they didn’t give us a set amount of time before running is out. Instead, they let us sit at our table and enjoy our date night together. Oh, I highly recommend the deviled eggs with camels bacon if it's on the menu when you go too.”

“Kansas City has so many BBQ places and Meat Mitch is now officially on my list of good ones! The ambiance is great and the staff was beyond friendly. Plus, they were fully staffed; which is a luxury these days. We ordered the Pitmaster Platter so we could sample several things. The portions were exactly what I expected for $42. The menu states it will feed two people, but we stretched it into 4 meals because we eat pretty light. If we had been super hungry, it probably would have been 2-3 meals. They also have several $6 apps during happy hour; which are nice portion sizes. The meat: The ribs and brisket were great. The burnt ends, sausage and pulled pork were all good. As I’m writing this review, I just realized our platter was supposed to have smoked turkey, but it didn’t. To be fair, I’m just realizing this and I’m confident if we had asked our waiter at the time of our meal, they would have brought out the missing turkey. The sides: I really enjoyed the sides. They had a great variety to choose from. We went with the cheesy corn bake, broccoli slaw and fries and alm were excellent. While the meat was great, I will return again just for the sides. They were fantastic! The sauce: The sauce variety was one of my favorite parts of our dining experience at Meat Mitch. They had six different sauces to choose from; including a white sauce and a mustard sauce. Those were both good and it’s nice to see them in KC, but favorite was the char bar table sauce. Soooooo good! The environment: The outdoor seating is excellent. Not only is there ample space on the shady patio, but they have fun turf lawns with corn hole games set up. This would be the perfect summer happy hour location. The indoor seating was also abundant, clean and had a variety of table styles - high tops, low tops, booth and bar seating. They even had some cute cow print stools, but my husband requested I sit in a real chair for dinner, so I can’t attest to their comfort level. I’m my original review, I knocked off one star because of the clunkiness of ordering food and drinks separately. They have changed this and it’s now simple and streamlined. You order everything from your server at your table. Overall, we’ll definitely be back. We saw them deliver the Cheesy Hog Fries to several tables and now we need to try them. ***update: we had the Cheesy Hog Fries and they were delicious!*** And, I still need to try that smoked Turkey. ;)”

“Forgot to post this on the grand opening. My wife and I personally love the macaroni salad than Hawaiian Bros. The grand opening they were giving free mini platter which I believe were the chicken teriyaki and Kalyan pig. We haven’t yet tried the rest since and will update once we have. The styrofoam provided weren’t strong or durable enough to hold the food as the juice was leaking through causing a mess. Besides that the food was okay.”

“The exterior of the building is unimpressive. The entry makes you want to turn around. Once you get past that, it is all good. The facility is clean, neat and in good shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a large group visit and take over one third of the facility. We got pizza and drinks along with shoes and unlimited bowling. “The wait for the food was 25 minutes. There must've been just one person in the back and one in the front. I noticed many people coming in to pick up their online orders, so maybe that's the recommended way to go. I ordered the Sahara Mix plate, which tasted just ok. The only hot thing on the plate was a chicken kabob. I've had better at other Mediterranean fast food places. On the plus side, they have a spacious and clean dining room. It was also well ventilated, which I really appreciated.”
