“Overall the food was as to be expected from a KC steakhouse. All of us except my wife had a cup of clam chowder which was amazing. We shared an out-of-shell oyster which was not very good. The only thing we did not like. My dad and I each had the cowboy steak which was cooked perfectly with the cheesy potato side also good. My wife had the salmon and mixed vegetables with a side of asparagus and my mom had the sea bass with a side of mixed vegetables. The service was a bit slow but mainly because they were short-handed. Our server Kelly was awesome and has been with the company for 26 years. Highly recommend her. Overall I would come back. Next time we come I'll get the meal for two where you can choose a three or 4-course meal. The total bill was only $247”

“We are not in OP often but looked at the map for burger place and Holy Cow had 4.7 so gave it a try. We ordered cheeseburger and regular and sweet potato fries and it was an adventure :) The meat tasted great, was fresh with a hint of pepper but the sauce completely changed the taste of cheeseburger - it was some kind of orange one on a top of lettuce/tomato/onion "salad" with a great bun. I couldn't say what kind of cheese was it as could taste lots of spices. So while it did tasted fresh indeed it was anything but cheeseburger by taste. The fries were your generic frozen one from the oven - crispy in regular and standard in sweet potato. So overall it was fresh and cooked fast for to-go order but it tasted anything but traditional cheeseburger - please ask questions before ordering.”

“I recently celebrated my son’s 1st birthday party. The theme was sports—“1st Year Down”. Bianca and her team were so sweet! From the very beginning, I was walked through the booking process, in constant communication to ensure that my needs were met, and not to mention I had assistance setting up and cleaning up the day of the event. I was running late and overwhelmed, but as soon at I arrived I was met at the door with help. I could not have asked for a better location and team to help me celebrate such a major moment. I cannot recommend Inspired Play Cafe enough. Our family and friends had such a great time! Not to mention it is SO kid friendly, even for babies. Great energy and positive vibes! Truly one of a kind.”

“I went here on the advice of a good friend and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. this is a small storefront, it is clean and inviting with adequate seating with a dozen or so tables. The menu is Greek and they have different meat to choose from for their gyros, which is what we were there for. We decided on traditional gyros with beef and lamb, sides of the greek fries which came with topping see and a side salad. They also had lemon soup, a couple different kinds of Greek soda in bottles, baklava and soft serve frozen yogurt. The gyros all come with a couple of fries in it, which we didn't mind. Everything was delicious, the meat was seasoned just right, the tomatoes and onions were fresh, the only thing I would've added was lettuce instead of French fries, but that's minor. The cucumber sauce was also tasty in just the right quantity. Oh, and the pita itself was soft, warm and fresh, yum! The only thing I regret is that I didn't have room for baklava and frozen yogurt. This is a great combination that is impossible to find outside of the local Greek festivals. So, I will definitely be going back. This is one chain I can give a thumbs up to.”

“Went there with my sister to celebrate a birthday and neither of us knew what to expect. We had heard good things about it but wanted to try it for ourselves. It was moderately crowded when we arrived a little early but much busier as we were finishing up later so I would recommend having an early lunch if you want it to be quick. “My wife and I had just finished dinner at a nearby restaurant and were killing a little time before we needing to pick our daughter up from a birthday Party. We were driving through PrairieFire in Leawood, KS which was close and noticed a bar that had both indoor and outdoor seating, so we zipped into the parking garage and made our way to Vertias . Little did we know that the place not not actually open, they had been having a training event / VIP night for friends and family and we just barged in on them. 😳. Once we entered the few people at this establishment had given us some funny looks and the Owner came to Greet us. He explained what was going on and that they were not actually open but would be on July 13th. Feeling very embarrassed we immediately apologized and started for the door, but that’s when he stopped us and kindly offered for us to stay try some of the wines. He we so Gracious and very knowledgeable about wine. He told us about the space and how they came to be. He continued to be extremely hospitable and polite even through we had just barged in unannounced to this training event. Well about an hour later we left having tried a few excellent wines and can’t wait to go back once it finally openes! If you are looking for a great wine and or whisky bar I high recommend Vertias.”

“First time here. Was suggested to my wife from a friend. We both made a mistake and went super hungry lol. Our Bill $76. Food- I got what I always get when I try a new taco restaurant, Taco Salad with a side of rice and some street corn on the cob. That corn was the bomb, and the seasons they put on it made it even better. Next time ill just order the corn and plenty of margaritas. I don't remember what my wife had got but she said she liked it but wasn't to crazy about the shell/breading. Drinks-.We also ordered the top flight with 6 rounds of margaritas, I don't remember all of what we got but I honestly liked them all, but my wife liked all but one, and it was the milky one. The drinks didn't seem to have much alcohol in them especially for 6 drinks. Also, they were much smaller than expected. The restaurant was larger than expected and our server was top notched, he was on top of everything. Our food came out very quick (maybe within 15 minutes). Our drinks and margaritas came out within a few minutes of placing the order. The restaurant was nice and bright and had some pretty good decorations on the wall and ceiling according to my wife. We both didn't finish all our food (which I normally do) and got to go boxes.”
