“I don't ever recall having eaten Ethiopian food prior to my visit to Abol. So, I can't really compare this to other restaurants with this cuisine. The flavors are unique and savory. The bread they serve with the meal is for sure like none you've ever had and pairs well with the flavors and style of eating. The service was delightful. My server explained what I was getting and traditional ways of enjoying the plate. She was knowledgeable of ingredients and preparation too. This place is fun just to try the exotic food.”

“How has this hidden gem been here for years and I've never stopped by!now Iwanted to give this place a higher score but service here is horrid. We waited forever for food. Our waiter kept giving us the give me a sec finger. Food overall is really good. Order the French toast, dates and steak with eggs. Price is very reasonable for bottomless brunch. $35 for unlimited food and drinks is great value. I would recommend this place for large parties as well. Food quality is fresh and the kitchen is great with constantly refilling your table.”

“The service was amazing here, and we had a great bartender. Definitely try to get to the upper area early and reserve some space if you have a big group coming. My only complaint was that the beer menu was extremely confusing. It took a while to figure out which beers were on draft, which were on happy hour, and which you could get in a pitcher. Despite the mental hurdle, we had a good time!”

The only problem I have is that sometimes when I come in the floor are kind of sticky and littered, and the tables are dirty with other people's trash that they didn't clean up. It's not uncommon now a Days to Fine one restaurant that has multiple cuisines on their menu. What is uncommon is achieving what City Taste has done. Each plate that was ordered (over multiple visits) came out very well done. What was supposed to have flavor and spice, actually had flavor and spice! The service was quick and friendly. We were seated right away. Our glasses were never more than half empty before we received an offer to refill them. The waitstaff knew the menu items. And, everyone appeared to be genuinely happy. This was not only a good place to go, but a good place to go back to again.”

“Went there in a party of 12 on a Saturday night. Very lively upon entry with a combo of live and recorded music. Food and drink was very good BUT, and I don't know if it was because they were very busy, it took way too long for the food. Not only that, but when it did come, the dishes were served family style. That led to mass confusion within our group. Service was good, not great. Our server was around sporadically but was accommodating when present. Lastly, the manager did not come over one time to see how we were doing. That is unacceptable, seeing as we ended up spending $800.”
