“Finally got to check out this new spot and it did not disappoint! I got the chicken gyro From the first bite to the last bite it was very juicy & flavorful. I wish I got a side of french fries they were so yummy 🤤 They have indoor and outdoor seating so that’s an added bonus Staff nice and friendly. Can’t wait to go back and try a different flavor…. And have more of those French fries”

“I’ve tried many chicken tikka masala’s and by far NONE beat the one made here! The sauce was creamy & flavorful, the chicken was tender and absorbed all the flavors given by the sauce. I also got Garlic naan which brings pieces of cilantro to dip in the sauce and they both complimented each other perfectly. This is my new go to place whenever I crave Indian food! 😋”

“Tuesday, May 10, 2022: Mocha review. I stopped by since I was in the neighborhood to see what they would do with an 8 ounce drink. I quizzed the counter person, and they guided me to order a flat white which is similar to their “modern“ cappuccino. I asked them to add half chocolate not to sweet, and it came out as a perfect 8 ounce mocha. I’m not a full on espresso connoisseur, but it’s clear that they pay a lot of attention to detail here in not only the shops presentation but in the coffee itself. See the other reviews for thoughts and raves from Espresso devotees”

“Been wanting to try this place for a while now. Came early morning just before 9am (and during a snow storm) and there was only 1 person in front of me. Got the classic jumbo on an everything bagel (upgrade to a simple breakfast sandwich), hot smoked salmon on an everything bagel and a wheat bagel with honey rosemary cream cheese (this was delicious). Will be back to try the other bagels and the scallion cream cheese.”

“I would definitely recommend coming here for food or drinks! I have been meaning to check out Barcelona Wine Bar for a while, and now there’s one right in my neighborhood! Currently, they are doing a soft opening and only taking walk-ins. The servers/bartenders were attentive and friendly, and also offered helpful info and suggestions about the menu. The vibes were immaculate, with a dimly lit and very well decorated interior, and they also offer outdoor dining! This would be a solid choice for a date or a group get together. This spot has one of the largest wine menus (by the glass) that I’ve seen at a restaurant in Boston, and the bar is also incredibly well stocked. The red sangria was the perfect blend of fruity but not too sweet. I also ordered some tapas, which arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. They are especially good at doing seafood, so I would recommend trying some of their seafood dishes.”

“The employees here a so nice and quick. They put up with a lot and they still make food and drinks the way it was requested. I have been to other Perfecto locations and they have different flavors for their lattes. I asked for a latte flavor combination that they don't have in Reading but the employee that helped me was able to make a suggestion and threw together an amazing drink . Jalapeno cheddar bagel is amazing! French toast bagel, toasted with butter is one of the best.”

“This place seemed to pop up out of nowhere, so I figured, as a breakfast lover, I’d pop in. I had only been to Fusion Café once but the bright, fresh remodel was almost as welcoming as the owner, who was personally seating and serving everyone. They have an omelette bar set up and I ordered a custom one, which was promptly delivered to me along with potatoes. Both were excellent, fresh, big, and perfectly cooked. Owner offered side of meat, toast, and fresh juice but I was more than full with this and the coffee. There’s also a written menu but since I got the omelette I didn’t get a peek. What a great start and addition to Main Street. I can’t wait to come back.”

“When I was a little girl it was always a huge treat when we got Amici’s, and it still feels like that to this day! Consistently delish and comforting food made by caring and funny people, and made fast. Highly recommend everything on the menu (Buf wings/tenders not for the faint of heart tho!). You can’t ask for more. Thank you, Amici’s!”

“Love the passion that the owner of the store has for sharing great authentic and creative Vietnamese food with others. Everyone that works there is very friendly and accommodating: if you have any food allergies, let them know about dishes you wish to try and they will suggest ways to switch out ingredients to make dishes gluten free/vegan/vegetarian (including paying attention to things like fish sauce, soy sauce, marinades, etc). The spicy noodles were wonderful- savory, crunchy, refreshing. Pad Thai a bit too sweet for my preference, could use more acidity even with extra limes, but still very good. Eggplant dish excellent but on spicier side (which I like). Spice/heat is typical of more authentic Asian food- a slow burn that builds but does not overwhelm flavor, but may be much for someone that is not used to spice. Dessert of the day stood out, especially the custard over rice: unique, comforting, not too sweet. The sweet potato with condensed milk was very unique and creative- sweetness highlighted by salt added to rich condensed milk. Hibiscus tea tangy and refreshing, Thai tea a bit sweet for my taste. Highly highly recommend, one of best Thai restaurants I’ve tried. Food prices very fair as well.”

“The perfect neighborhood brunch place. Right beside the trail and spy pond. Has plenty of out door seating and a wide variety of muffins, scones, croissants. Their fresh veggie role with peanut sauce was particularly nice. The place is clean and staff is super friendly. The elderly gentleman overseeing the outdoor seating is so thoughtful. Receives guests, finds them good seats, cleans up the table if the guests forget to do so. They also have a nice play area for the kids. Will happily recommend this place.”

“The building is very new and has an upscale modern industrial vibe. Friendly front of house and bartenders. Ordered the smoked old fashioned, sweet potato pakora, and General Tso's chicken. Pakora was very crispy and well seasoned with a delicious curry yogurt dipping sauce. The General Tso's was super crispy, flavourful, and a large portion. Overall the restaurant is a great place to get excellent cocktails and eclectic American food.”

“So good, that we’ve been here twice already! Two sliders is more than enough, but my go-to order. The fries are cooked to perfection and seasoned. We added cheese to the sliders and asked for extra sauce. For it being so busy (at 10pm on a Thursday), the order came out in minutes and we were really impressed!”

“Went to Surf last night for the first time, it’s a brand new restaurant and I’ve only heard good things about it. Well it definitely lived up to the hype! Our server Derek was great, he was very warm and friendly, he talked to us about the menu, taking his time to explain certain dishes. We started with the wicked awesome tuna sushi roll, it was so fresh and tasty, I would return for the sushi alone. For my entree I got the Korean bbq scallops which was super flavorful. I would not describe the dish as “spicy,” more of a smokey heat if that makes sense. The only thing to critique, and it isn’t even a bad one, is that the mashed potatoes are said to have wasabi, I couldn’t detect that at all, but they were still delicious! My mom got the lobster Kristina which she also loved! She just wished for more lobster lol. Excellent service and food, we will be back for sure.”

“This is a new restaurant, so the staff is till setting it up. I guess we got here during the ‘soft opening’. The food is pretty good, especially if you could tolerate a bit of hot chilies. However, the service might require a little bit of improvement. Overall great!”

“They only opened yesterday and are already knocking it out of the park! Excellent food - great flavor combinations. Great prices, friendly staff (still figuring things out!), nice big dining area with a selection of what looked like 20+ hot sauces. Totally worth a visit to check out this new place. Parking during lunchtime on the street was wicked easy and free.”

“Fantastic food, humongous portions. Very good value for money. The Stir-Fried Lobster with Glutinous Rice seems to be a regular on every table. Peking duck is my favourite here. Both dishes were excellent. The lobster was seriously one of the best I’ve had in a long while - very juicy and sweet and cooked perfectly. The pancake came with the duck is so soft and yum. Four dishes for 4 people is definitely enough. Great local atmosphere. Friendly staff. Everything you’d expect from a long time Newton restaurant. Highly recommend this place.”

“Went to Dave’s for dinner with my husband recently and we were both very impressed with everything. From the design, to the presentation of the dishes, to the flavor of everything… perfection! 👌🏼 You can tell that Dave only chooses the best ingredients. My husband and I each had two signature cocktails, the ribs and duck wings, the tomahawk steak with a side of fries, and the imported orange Greek cake with espressos. I would order it all again! Also, all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The GM Helen does a great job and the bartender Antonio was very pleasant to talk to. Looking forward to visiting again!”

“One of Belmont’s long time gems. Everyone loves donuts and Linda’s is one of the best places to go for them. Old school place with a strong local following and some wicked good donuts. If donuts were healthier I’d be here all the time but for now it’s just a special occasion thing.”

“Great service, great atmosphere, great food! We really enjoyed the pizza as an appetizer and they have a very creative drink menu. Perfect date night.”
