“My husband and I got the lamb shawarma's combo meal. First off, the amount of meat that you get 😳😳. We could barely finish them, just so much meat. Then an enormous amount of fries. You definitely have to try this place.”

“Small plates type restaurant. Plus-moderate pricing. Nice wine list. Full service bar. Daily happy hour - 30% off food, wine and certain cocktails. Good service. Can get busy early. Open only since early January.”

“We absolutely love visiting Sidecar once a week. Our favorites of course are the sliders, as well as the Korean BBQ wings. The cocktails always impress and the staff is always inviting when we visit. Definitely a hot spot in our community for great food, great drinks, and great vibes.”

“Not sure why this location gets such negative ratings, but the food has been on point here all 3 times I've gone. Service could use a bit of help, but that's how it is at all Bucharest locations. My salads have always been loaded with chicken like you've come to expect with Bucharest. Cut them some slack as I'm sure they're going through growing pains.”

“Wow! Let me just say, wow! The comments are so ridiculous. Like the owner has stated several times, they are working with limited staff. I'm not sure if any your patrons have experienced what that's like, but it's rough. Yes, the only mexican place, apparently, you have ever been to has closed. But seriously to try and destroy this place over some salsa being too plain!?! Get over yourselves gib town. Be better than that. Support this family who has chosen to still provide mexican food in this town. I can't wait to go and try it!”

“I grew up in Eastpointe, where the original Cloverleaf Bar is. It was a staple in dining out. This takeout is every bit as delicious. My wife who is Celiac has said that their GF pizza is hands down the best she's had in the area. On top of that, it was much cheaper than the other GF pizzas. Cloverleaf was started by Gus Guerra, also known as the founder of Detroit Style pizza and original founder of Buddy's. Overall very impressed with quality, prices and portions. The Italian sub was loaded with easily twice as much meat as a Jimmy Johns for the same price.”

“Worth every penny! I had such a good experience here—from the food, servers and atmosphere, everything was well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. The sirloin sandwich and the mushroom pasta were so yummy. Compliments to the chef! 💜”

“I love this place. We didn't know what we wanted when we went in, so I said drinks. Seemed like a good place to start. We had a couple of great cocktails and a panna cotta were all great. Our server was awesome, and the staff were all very helpful. The atmosphere was laid back except for some customers looking to be coddled and pampered, but the hostess tried to help as much they could. You only have so many seats, and who wants to be the ones hurried from their seat so another person can have that one. Patience and understanding go a long way. We loved the books. There were some tables a little close to the books, and you couldn't really get to them without being weird, but most people were cool about it. They are all new books. It's definitely a place for my bookworms to return to.”

“Passed this by a few times and thought it was closed as it is very unassuming. I finally googled it while standing out front and was surprised to see it was open. I think they could promote themselves better. The food was great! We had a rice bowl, noodle bowl, and 2 of the sandwiches. The dishes all had nice flavor and the rice was better than most carry-out Asian places. The matcha boba tea was VERY matcha and my teens gave it big thumbs up. We’ll definitely return.”

“I have high hopes for Brine's success. The ambiance is truly remarkable, evoking the vibrant spirit of NOLA with its decor, complemented by live jazz on the balcony. The staff's warmth and attentiveness enhance the experience, ensuring guests are well looked after. While the food we tried was enjoyable, and we had several dishes, I missed something that excited me. Nevertheless, I believe in their potential to refine their offerings, given their dedication. I look forward to returning, I believe Brine has all the elements to thrive and deliver an outstanding dining experience. A unique place in the Grosse Pointe community worth checking out.”

“For a small building, it was nicely decorated and looked clean. This is not a dine-in type of restaurant. The food was okay. The macaroni needed more salt. The rib tips were a little tough. The meat wasn't tender. The peach cobbler was mainly crust. I could only find 3 peaches. It had a weird taste. The greens were ok. I've had better soul food. That will probably be my first and last visit.”

“It was my first try! I heard all about the seafood but not enough funds for that on this day, so I tried the chicken tenders & fries. It came with some delicious coleslaw! Just sweet enough! 😋 the tenders had the right amount of spice. YUMmy! The fries were even tasty. It also came with a couple of hushpuppies that were quite flavorful! Their service was fast, fresh & hot!I can't wait to try their seafood! I will report back! Until then, go check these brothers out!”

“If you looking for some great jumbo shrimp cooked to perfection I highly recommend this place, so much so I drive front the west side of Detroit to get this!”

“The place was a little dirty, with stuff on the floor also only one guy was working on the counter so one person took about 5-8 minutes to take care of each person. While I was in the store waiting, 5 people were also waiting behind me, I called in the order at least 30 minutes before and I still had to wait 10 minutes when I came into the store. I get 8 piece leg and thigh, the chicken was juicy, good food just need to improve on the staff.”

“These potatoes were awesome, it’s in the neighborhood Black Owned and Operated. The portion sizes are well worth the money. The interaction between the staff & customers is very welcoming. I would recommend this definitely to anyone looking for total satisfaction .”

“Came here while visiting Eastern Market (literally like a 2 minute walk). The food is super fresh and phenomenal. They made sure to check in on how the food was and you could tell they know their regulars very well. Will definitely be stopping in again next time I'm in the area. I got the burger and my friend the gyro and both had amazing ingredients 😍”

“Love the self-pour concept, as you can try out drinks without a large glass commitment. Both the peach cider and shandy I tried were fantastic. Pizza was also really good and the menu had plenty of vegetarian and healthy options. Service was friendly, but still working out the kinks (which is expected). Overall, I'm just glad this is here. Now that Dyno has booze and food next door, there is no reason for me to ever go home.”
