“I don't care what other reviewers say, I love this place. It's a bit of a drive for me, but always worth it. I've never had any of the issues with rude staff or late orders. Never. And I've been going for years. Guess I've been lucky. And the comments about the food being bland blow my mind! I get the Veggie lo Mein and sugar biscuits and sometimes veggies in brown sauce with white rice. The portions are incredible. And the value compared to anywhere else is impressive. I feed 4 for $25!”

“Loved this place! Very cute and quaint! My mom and I went in lieu of my Senior Trip to London and Paris. The food was great and the service was as well. I had the ham and gruyere crepe while my mom had the onion soup, both were amazing. Desert was equally impressive, I had the lemon crepe and my mom had the profiteroles! Delicious! Only complaint, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars is, it would have been great to have parisi music playing over the speakers, but that was the only slight! Overall a great experience!”

Kendall (hope I'm not misspelling his name) was extremely generous with his time talking to me about what ingredients he uses and the flavor palette they create. The "cheese" covered fries with the juniper berry sauce were to die for. The fried cauliflower taco was perfect. And the black bean burger made this new vegan happy. I wanted to pull people in off the street to try this food! Will definitely be back!”

“It was a nice experience. I had gone with my friends just to try out their family's Chicken Sandwich. As I step in I notice the common seating arrangement as in any fast food restaurant. This one was neat and well organized. Stepping up to the counter had a a bit of organization provided by the bars they set in place to guide customers to the counter. As we ordered, the transaction was clean and quick. No misunderstood statements and the wait time was not bad at all. I finally got to eat the Chicken Sandwich and I must admit, it is worth a try if you haven't had it yet. Overall it was a good experience up to the last point of disposing your leftovers and recyclable items. Definitely will revisit.”

“I love their BBQ sauce!! I have been looking for what I grew up thinking of as KC BBQ (I am from a small town south of KC). My mom made the best sauce in the world!! Unfortunately she and her recipe are both gone. I know it had dark Karo syrup, brown sugar and other ingredients. It was sweet (NOT sweet and hot). I have heard of sweet molasses BBQ. Anyway, good BBQ has the sauce thickly cooked on it. Sauce goes on as soon as the meat hit the grill, so it sips into the meat. My husband had their Grill Cheese Pulled Pork sandwich and it was the closest I have found to Mom's sauce since she past. Now, my family wasn't as impressed. The price was actually pretty reasonable for the city (my husband doesn't agree). We got 2 cups of coffee, 2 hot chocolates, glass of chocolate milk, and water, 5 cinnamon rolls (huge and come with every meal!!), 1 meat lover's skillet dinner, 2 Denver Burritos, 1 two egg dinner w/ham, and my husband's sandwich for $62. They were busy! Service was slower, but she was very good!! And very patient with all of our questions (my son thinks the waitress forgot about us). My family might say 4 stars, but I think 5 is truer.”

I was served water in a wine glass and attended to like royalty. The food ... the food was scrumptious. My first consuming traditional Indian comestibles. I ordered shrimp and chicken curry. The flavors exploded in my mouth, spicy but not overly hot. The homemade garlic bread was a treat. “This place is fairly new and this was my first visit to the Flying Horse Taproom. It is a cozy place with an outside patio for nice weather. On a Thursday afternoon, there were a few customers around. Service was excellent and quick. Prices are reasonable and drink selection was good. Happy hour included food specials and drink specials. They also had many TV's if you are looking to watch a game (no sound though). Would definitely visit again.”

“My first experience with a cauliflower pizza crust. I have been on keto for one year and my food has been OK but this was probably my most enjoyable lunch I’ve had in the last year. I got the pepperoni pizza with some extra chili peppers and Parmesan cheese grated on top. It was fabulous! Oh did I mention they gave me 25% off my pizza because it was my first time? But now I’m hooked”
