“My friend and I ate at Brick + Mortar last month, and were very pleased with the quality of food and the variety of menu options. We met for Sunday brunch, and there was plenty to choose from. Our server was Savannah, and she was AWESOME!! My phone was running out of power, so she found an outlet and plugged it in--and reminded me to take it with me when we were leaving. :-) She was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us in our dining choices. We both had the avocado benedict, and it was simply delectable! I don't know if it's a seasonal item or menu constant, but I hope it's the latter. The only difficulty we encountered was the length of time it took for us to place our order and receive our meals. It may have been a difficulty with staffing; we saw Savannah waiting on every table in the restaurant. Overall, we were quite happy with our brunch, and we'll definitely be back! “Ive been to have drinks and it was great.I went for a bite to eat while the place was 80% full of "reservations". If you hear that just leave because they are focused on whatever group is there. We had to get own menu, grab people to take our order. We sat on rooftop, which I advise not to sit on the rooftop. Bar doesn't work upstairs. Summary: go here for drinks and stay downstairs. Good for drinks, not a meal. If they are full with reservations downstairs just leave.”

“The staff here is super helpful friendly and ready to help no matter what the situation. Today I ordered a big Vito for delivery but it never arived! I called to see what happened I was told my sandwich had been delivered! So I drove to the shop and by the time I got there a second sandwich was ready! “This is definitely a place to stop if you're looking to do some more exploring of Kansas City's local spots. District does their own infused drinks, including brown sugar & pecan whiskey, five pepper tequila, and apricot vodka. The cocktails that come out of these wonderful creations are great, and the infused liquors on their own on the rocks are pretty stellar, too. Service here is excellent. The wait staff are very kind, the hosts/hostesses are prompt and knowledgeable, and the food is great. The best seat in the house, though, is for sure at the bar. Check out their First Fridays, when they do a shrimp and crab boil! It's an especially good option if you are a Lenten observer (but they do it all year around), and it's very well known in the neighborhood!”

“Neat little hole in the wall. The breakfast potatoes were excellent, and omelette with cheddar and salmon was perfect. Way to full to try any baked goods. (Although, they also looked scrumptious.) However, the menu is lacking. You will easily spend upwards to $20 per person to have any sort of "specialty" omelette. I will most certainly come back again though. Simply delicious.”

“You know this is actually my second attempt at this place. The first time was not positive... largely due to having to wait over 40 minutes for our wings. We decided to give it a second chance. Glad we did. We (4) were first ones in the restaurant and we all had food on the table in about 18 minutes. Restaurant was clean, and i got a drink and a 8-10 wings for maybe 11-12 bucks. They even let me split flavors. I got the garlic Parmesan and the barbecue. Fries were tasty and quite a large portion. We will be back!”
